“The horchata was delicious! It was really welcoming to have a non-alcoholic option that is not just soda & juice.Pirogies were to die for! Perfect consistency, well stuffed and the toppings matched & brought out the savory flavors. They are huge and don’t need the added kraut & sausage unless you are really hungry or they are your whole meal.Serbian Pancakes reminded me of a savory yet still sweet cheese filled crape. Very light & delicate.Pizza is thin crust style. Comes out extremely hot. I think it needed a bit more tomato sauce. Make sure to ask for their daily special pizza as they only have 5 on the menu, none of which are veggie topped.Bar staff are extremely kind and sweet.“
“At the risk of losing a great place, here I go:This is a solid/consistent spot to eat from.So far, everything I have tried has been good. Some items are addicting good.Others are just Good. And that is not said in a negative way at all.Inside is nothing eye catching. However, it is clean and well kept. And is BYOB.Wait times range from 15-30 min.I have a shellfish allergy, and thus far have had no problems.“
“Y'all. I don't have the self-control for this level of pizza. I ate the *entire* pizza in one sitting. My trainer is going to hurt me - absolutely worth it.Trust me. White Pie, add bacon. Outrageous!Their bacon isn't that thin, flaky, oven-baked-to-death, tasteless topping. Their bacon is so meaty and flavorful.Goodness gracious. I ate the whole thing!“
“First time here and so glad I went! Cozy friendly place, super nice and helpful staff! I think my cocktail was a butterfly pea flower infused tequila concoction that was amazing. I had the pickle brined chicken sandwich and it was enormous and delicious!“
“We had pizza and wings delivered to our hotel and....Oh me, Oh my! Both were delicious. If you like spicy, they have some wings for your soul! Just make sure that you have a cold beverage, some ranch, carrots, celery, and napkins! Wings are meaty, juicy, perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of crunch on the exterior! Now, don't sleep on that Detroit-style pizza! Underground Pizza has some of the BEST sauce that I've ever tasted. The pepperoni was generous, spicy, and added depth to the already on-point sauce. The crust is thicker than New York style pizza BUT it is also buttery, crispy, and crunchy in a way that makes your taste buds so happy. We decided that we would make the trek to eat in the next time since the food was great after being microwaved, we decided that it would be the bomb in store. If you order delivery, be prepared for a very long wait--it's not optimal but access to a microwave will hook you right up. Lastly (not an issue for us), it is a bit pricey. Half of a pizza is 4 squares and they are substantial--I ate 1 and tapped out! What I'm saying is, the value is absolutely there! Great find. We look forward to checking out the ambiance and service!“
“This is the preferred Italian place for my wife and I, in all of the greater Baltimore area. It's a small and intimate atmosphere, the staff are great, and the food is amazing. You can absolutely tell it's all fresh and made in house.“
“The ambiance of this restaurant is rustic. The bathroom is nice and clean, always a plus. They have a second floor for additional seating and for special events/parties. The management and staff here is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Me and my fiancée typically put in a special request for our pizzas not to have much char, which isn't a simply ask for wood-fired pizza. They have a large selection of pizzas, plus appetizers and you can request your pizza to be gluten-free. Love that use EVOO. On Mondays, the pizzas are 25% off. The pizzas are tasty and fresh. Will be back.“
“My family and I happened up on this cool little place while on vacation and in Baltimore for one day. Loved the atmosphere and the fact that it’s a local place and not a chain that I can get at home in Louisiana. Pizza and wings were great and staff was friendly and attentive.“
“Great place for pizza pickup. We ordered the spicy pepperoni, chicken, and half and half for take away. All were fantastic. The crust is a highlight, perfect mix of crispy, chewy, and char that rivals the best crust in the city. The pizza is pricy but well worth the cost.“
“This is our favorite local pizza place. My wife and I go here almost every Thursday for Charm City trivia and we love their pizza. The staff are so nice and welcoming. We recently ventured out from our normal order and tried the calzone. Excellent! Ben Wyatt would endorse Angelis for sure.“
“It was the only place open to get some food late. Got a slice of pizza and a drink. They don't hold back on the vodka here! The drink was good. Definitely would go back.Vegetarian options: Got a side salad that came with some cheese bread it was really good.“
“I have to start off by saying Mrs Grace's wings are so very good. The food here is just good. So whatever you order you'll like. I couldn't imagine anything leaving that kitchen bad. The service. We were made to feel as if we were long time customers. (we are not) It's totally worth a two hour drive from anyone's home who likes the real deal. And if you're traveling. It's an easy on and off the highway.“
“My husband and I had pizza and drinks at the bar. The pizza was awesome. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and my husband had a pepperoni pizza which was delicious. I had a cocktail that was super bland and practically flavored water in a copper cup. The bartender, a woman with a mullet and tattoos left much to be desired in the area of hospitality. She straight up looked like she did not want to be there or be bothered with patrons. I don’t expect a full blown conversation but as a service worker, it’s not okay to be short and nonchalant with patrons. This rubbed me the wrong way almost to the point that I was hesitant to order my food. Although the food and music were great, I highly doubt if I would dine inside again. Take out will be the next option for us.“
“Limited but tasty food items on Happy Hour menu, throughout restaurant, with lots of Evolution craft beers (small Happy Hour size, $3). Main course gemelli pasta truly delicious with intense gorgonzola sauce (love gorgonzola, or don't get it--it's that intense, seriously!). Husband's Honey Belly pizza was incredibly unusual and a spicy-sweet combo of pork belly slices, roasted peppers, honey, chili oil?, and some cheeses. It worked great for him, but not my cup of fat...er..tea! No room for dessert, but prior visit highlighted the "Kit Kat" chocolate dessert as off the charts for us chocolate lovers!Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten-free pasta.“
“Probably the best pizza in baltimore. Completely old school, no pretentions. Best part has to be their dough - expertly fermented for a thin crust with lots of crumb. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Make sure you tip well - gems like this place are harder and harder to find in Baltimore.Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot out front just off belair rd.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, small curb but accessible.“
“Pizza came out fast, staff was amazing, and the pizza was amazing! The brick oven cooked the pizza so fast, great crust and under carriage. The pepperoni is not your standard pepperoni, it is huge slices. A must try if you're in the area! Dave Portnoy would be impressed!“
“Great place in Riverside neighborhood to meet with friends for pizza and whiskey. Barflys has the best pizza that I have tried in Baltimore. The whiskey selection is great; however, the beer selection and other cocktails is limited—they focus on the whiskey. Service is good, the kind of service you get at your neighborhood bar.My favorite is the meat pizza, but you can build your own.“
“I had just visited the Edgar Allan Poe house and was looking for somewhere to have lunch. I’m glad I chose to come here! The pizza was excellent. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The waiter was very nice. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for pizza!“
“Excellent shawarma and literally my favorite pizza in Baltimore. Great service, owned by kind people. They’re also halal so all of my students can enjoy pizza parties to the fullest.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Halal-friendly“
“Family friendly, service is usually quick and always pleasant. I'm a basic NYC slice kind of gal but my kids like the pizza and the sandwiches are tasty. I recommend asking for dressing on the side for salads and reading through the full description to ensure no topping surprises (like tomatoes and mushrooms on the Buffalo Chicken pizza). We seem to always show up on trivia night so the skeeball is not an option, but we'll make it happen eventually! Great place to meet friends for a bite or drink and and I'm always willing to support local places that support their neighbors and community, so we'll be back.“
“Great place with awesome food! The pizzas were absolutely delicious!! My co-workers & I super enjoyed it & the pizzas were only five dollars! What a steal. Thank you.Parking: Right across from courthouse & sits on a big open lot for plenty of space for parking.“
“SUCH A HUGE FAN OF GIL'S PIZZAS! This local pie shop has been around since 1958, and I believe it! Their menu is very simple and straightforward - they have Tomato & Cheese Pizza, the House Special, and create-your-own with toppings that include pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, black olives, sweet peppers, meat sauce, banana hots, mushrooms, Canadian bacon, anchovies, and pineapple, with even the option to get 'double dough' or adding extra cheese. We ordered their Tomato & Cheese Pizza - this is their signature 12-inch 'square-ish' pie; this was sooo cheesy and yummy! The crust was housemade, and you can really tell - not too thick or too thin - a perfect complement and ratio to the fresh toppings! Note that each and every pie is made-to-order, so we received ours, literally, right out of the oven so it was piping hot! MMM! There was only one employee in there, and he was friendly and kind - we waited for about 15-20 minutes for ours, so not too bad! This is strictly a carry-out type of place, so you can call ahead or order in person. Can't wait to return and get another fix of Gil's! Street parking is available around the area. +delicious pizza! +made-to-order +carry-out only +friendly staff +street parking available“
“The place was clean and very Friendly. The drivers are always pleasant. Since moving to this area this place has been awesome. I would recommend that the grease be changed more often. I also, recommend that you not fry food to where it is too hard to eat.“
“This is what I picture in my mind when someone talks about a pizza shop. Booths with benches that are made from a single piece of material. Not too many spots to eat-in. Friendly, but real employees. And most importantly, some of the best pizza around.“
“This is the best pizza in the area. Fresh and authentic. I’ve tried their white pizza, pepperoni, pineapple and a few others. Their pasta is freshly made, cooked to order. Everything is fresh here. I haven’t tried their cheesesteak but I’m sure it great as well. I will be back to report my cheesesteak opinion.“
“We had our wedding welcome party here and it was the perfect location! The team is so great to work with and so accommodating. The pizza was amazing and the beer was great (per usual!). Everyone had a fantastic time! I honestly can’t say enough good things about the staff at Diamondback, every single person was amazing. We visit almost every time we’re in the city.“
“My wife and I love Key Neopolitan, which just opened at intersection of Jackson Street and Key Highway, the virtual juncture of Fed Hill and Locust Point in my mind. They serve Verde pizza, by far, the best pizza in Charm City, where I’ve lived all my life. The fruit crushes were amazing too, as was the al fresco dining experience: under a tent with picnic tables, replete with amazing and eclectic tunes playing nonstop. The chill vibe and nice night caused us to hang out longer — after finishing our deeply delicious, soulful crust Neapolitan fresh from the outdoor pizza oven — to drink another round of crushes and watch children and their parents play ping pong. Here’s another “key” reason why Key Neopolitan will be my new hangout this summer: The vibe was so chill that I did not notice that I had misplaced my wallet until we were walking home. When my wife and I were a couple blocks away from home, the front desk at my building called to let me know that a man was there with my wallet. Panic in remission. We arrived minutes later to meet Mack Fowler, the owner and the man working that hot outdoor pizza oven for everyone’s benefit that night. He waived away all offers of reward for saving me from the deep abyss and panic of canceling cards and new licenses, etc…. “Just tell your friends about the place. “ Mack, thank you so much for your old world kindness and for your vision in bringing this amazingly chill joint to our neighborhood. I look forward to many more great meals and experiences at Key Neapolitan.“
“I just had cheese pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and extra cheese. I haven't had a good pizza in decades! When Bites & Slices opened up, it was wonderful. I have had cheesesteak subs and the chicken and they were so delicious. I hope they never move. The BEST FOOD! Thank you Mr. BABOR!!!“
“When you are from a far away place, there are times when everything suddenly becomes bothersome and difficult without you even realizing it. At times like that, I even neglect eating and want to do nothing. However, our body sends signals that it is hungry at a certain time. In those times, there is no food like soup, and there is no way you can find hot soup in a far away foreign land.Unable to. There aren't many options left for us. The food that is closest to home and easy to eat. That was this pizza.I ordered the Supreme with salty pepperoni and shared it with my colleague without saying a word. This is exactly what we want. After devouring every piece in less than 10 minutes, we went up to our accommodation to rest. I'll be able to go back in just a few days.(On the day we ate pizza, there was an accident in the early morning when a large bridge nearby collapsed after being hit by a ship. We pray for the peace of those who left their hometowns to work hard in distant countries and left their families and friends behind. Pray for their peace and Baltimore. )“
“Another visit to the "mecca of pizza" in the city. My family and I went there last Saturday afternoon, on the spur of the moment. I got my usual, the two cheese 10" pizza and the girls shared a 10" white pizza (edited to include tomato sauce). Having been to Matthew's more than 20 times in the past 6+ years, the two cheese pie was not as flavorful as usual - maybe due to weather, timing, my taste... but it was good! The white pizza - with the caramelized onions - was SO DANG GOOD!! I'd go back now if I wasn't at work. Definitely will try that next time. And yes - Matthew's is as good as people say!“
“I’ve had pizzas from all over the country but usually the best ones are found in local pizza joints. I had the chance of ordering from Mikie’s on Tuesday and it’s one of the best pizzas I have tasted in Bmore! Ordered a large pepperoni and bacon pizza. Got it under 18 minutes during lunch time and the pizza was excellent. The sauce was on point and so were the cheese and meats. Way better than large pizza chains.“
“I recently tried TinyBrickOven for the first time, and I'm thrilled to share my experience. The pizza was absolutely delicious, the service was outstanding, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out they offer beef pepperoni, which I love. What's more, they're open late, making it a perfect option for a late-night craving. I received my order quickly and enjoyed every bite. I would definitely recommend TinyBrickOven to anyone looking for great pizza and convenience.“
“Tov Pizza is famous!Somehow, Baltimore is over represented in the Kosher scene space having some of the best Kosher foodOne of those, is Tov pizza- delicious Kosher Pizza (and not overpriced)Service was incredibly fast, with pizza basically ready to go, they just keep them rolling“
“The food was delicious. Michael takes PRIDE in his establishment, and so do his employees. They all treat you with respect and kindness. And courteous. I am looking forward to returning real soon. Thank you, Michael, for all that you do. You help strengthen the community. Your friend, Don, Former John's Hopkins University employee. Take care!Parking: There is plenty of space. Just visit. You will see. Clean.“
“I arrived on a Saturday afternoon, in between lunch and dinner, so the entire Broadway Market was more or less empty. The gentleman at Last Slyce running the show was more than happy to help us navigate the menu and make a few suggestions for his favorites. I opted for the Big Sausage Energy (bonus points for the name). I did a little reconnaissance by reading other Yelp Elite reviews prior to ordering and saw that Last Slyce tends to serve their pies on the lightly baked side. I prefer my zza to be on the crispy, crunchy spectrum so I requested my Big Sausage to be baked well done. Fast forward 15 minutes later, and my prayers were answered. My personal pizza was perfectly cooked extra well did as requested with plenty of sausage in every bite. The pizza overall was a fine example of a personal pie, with much likeness to that of pizza chain &pizza. I thoroughly enjoyed the heartiness of the marinana sauce as well as the soft on the inside but crunchy on the outside crust. Undercarriage was also quite nice, as to be expected for anything named Big Sausage Energy. Overall, a great experience at Last Slyce and will definitely be back for another pie in the near future.Vegetarian options: a few vegetarian pizzasDietary restrictions: pizzas are made to order so items can be added/removedParking: paid meter parking on Broadway and adjacent streets. Meters stop after 6pmKid-friendliness: what kid doesn't like pizza?Wheelchair accessibility: market is all on one level and with broad walkways. Very wheelchair friendly“
“I have not been disappointed in anything I've ordered. The honey old bay wings, amazing. The meatball sub, excellent. The pizza, the best in my neighborhood! I can't forget the crispy fries!! One of my favorite places on DoorDash! Great deals too! Today was a 14" one topping pizza, 8 wings, fries an 8" sub and a 2 liter soda $31!! You can't beat that!!“
“My food was really goood, The pizza was fresh & hot. Cheese fries was just enough cheese on it. Fries wasn't over cooked. They wasn't to mushy or crunchy. You do have to season your own fries if you don't ask for S/P on it..Which I don't mind that at all.. Cheesesteak was made just how I asked with everything on it & it was meaty too.. ! Besides them only giving me 2 flats out of 10 wings ?they was favorable & fried crispy. Lastly, Delivery was super fast given I had a big order. It came less then 20 mins. I actually just place another order prior to writing this review ?(the ultimate seafood platter). I wanted to check out some more of their food. Overall, I give them 4.5stars & a ??. So as long as their food & service remains good. I'll continue ordering from them.“
“The family and I hit up Pizza di Joey after a fun day at the Maryland Science Center. Food and staff were absolutely fantastic! The spicy Italian sub is literally the best sub I have ever had; pizza was amazing too! I couldn't recommend this place enough.“
“HomeSlyce Pizza is one of those places that just feels like home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff always make you feel welcome. It's clean, hospitable, and they really know how to make a mean pizza.Speaking of pizza, let me tell you, it's fantastic. Whether you're in the mood for a classic slice or something a bit more adventurous, they've got you covered. And the best part? It won't break the bank. The prices are reasonable, which is always a plus.I have to admit, I'm a bit bougie when it comes to food, but HomeSlyce Pizza ticks all the boxes for me. It's the perfect spot for a casual date night or a quick lunch break. Plus, it's got that Baltimore charm that you just can't find anywhere else. One thing to note, though, is that once you tell your friends about this place, they'll probably start going without you. It's that good. But hey, it's worth sharing the love.Overall, if you're looking for a taste of Baltimore and some seriously good pizza, HomeSlyce Pizza is the place to be. You won't be disappointed.“
“Super friendly owner and good beers on tap. I had my cards stolen while helping out less fortunate people and he let me pay via venmo which was nice for the circumstance.Friendly atmosphere, good friendly crowd, and fair prices overall. Try their growlers they are great and one of the better family owned spots in Fed“
“Been coming here for years. They have great pizza, great drinks, and the atmosphere can't be beat. The service is alwaysa super nice but can be a bit slow on busy nights, but that's basically any resturaunt post-Covid, so can't really knock it there.Easily one of my favorite places in the city.“
“Phenomenal Italian cheesesteak hoagie with provolone, mushroom, pepper and onion. Friendly service. This place has most definitely earned a few repeat visits in my future. Thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp to rise up from sidewalk. Curb cut also to cross the street. Reasonable counter height. Low tables for folks that can’t sit in a barstool.“
“My family always goes to Squire's after a funeral ? It's funny because it is always packed with big groups of families and friends enjoying themselves after a funeral. Service and staff is great! I just wish they had more variety on the menu and more parking options ❣️“
“Called Pepe’s w/ low expectations for having a gluten free pizza crust as an option, and low & behold they carry a rice-based thin crust option! I ordered mine with cheese, pepperoni & mushrooms. First bite was actually rather surprising! Not bad! Has the crunch of a thin slice with a dough-ish texture. Overall satisfying the pizza craving on the fly. I’m not sure of the cost since I ordered other things and the receipt wasn’t itemized. I’d definitely order again!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-Free“
“Came by for lunch on a Saturday and it was the best experience. Food was slow to come out but it didn’t matter the dough kept the kids entertained the entire time which we appreciated. Out server Arianna was the absolute best. Perfect kid friendly restaurant. We will be back.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly menu and atmosphere“
“This restaurant is a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Just had their spaghetti and meat sauce...yum! I get breakfast there every day I come to work in the city. Friendly staff, quick service and food is always hot! Definitely a place to choose!“
“Excellent pizza. The dough is unbeatable. A great selection of toppings/combinations, along with robust vegan options make this a win for the entire family.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options!Kid-friendliness: My kids love it! You can stick with simple cheese pizza or be as adventurous as you like!“
“Ive been coming here since around 1999 or 2000, & im still in love w this restaurant & the owner & staff are so kind, i feel like family when i come & only wish i still lived a few blocks away, i would probably still order a few x a week, but now living out of the area we go whenever in town, tonight we hope to go again, since our son had a dr appt close by. i miss the full menu, but pizza is definitely good enough to keep me coming back. & they kept the good french fries too lol i love the fries & tenders, & looovvee the tiramisu, i love everything honestly lol“
“Stopped in for a nice family dinner on 4/12. This place is very busy and we lucked in to walking in at the right moment. We got a table right away, there were many people waiting to sit throughout our time there. We ordered 2 appetizers, the meatballs and zucchini chips. The zucchini chips were really terrific, fresh and tasty, the sauce was a nice addition. The meatballs were a little off. There were 4 of them, the first one I ate did not taste good at all. My kiddo had a bite and would not have more. My husband ate a different one and thought it was good. Turns out, the one meatball tasted VERY different than the other 3. That is disconcerting. The other 3 were tasted ok, not great overall. The kid had the grilled cheese that she said was great. She ate it all.The adults split the Pesto pizza. It was good, but again, not great. I was hoping for more flavor from the pesto, it just did not come thru as very flavorful. We opted not to check for desserts.“
“I was so happy to see Angeli’s coming to Fed Hill because I’d loved them in Fells! Now having done delivery and in-house highly recommended! Nice vegetarian and non-veggie options, delicious pizza crust and lovely desserts! Will definitely return“
