“I do not have much time to write this review, so I will keep this short and sweet.the people working here are really nice and sweet and asked me if I wanted anything on my food and they were very helpful.food is great, I recommend the Nutella French toast, coffee bun, and butterfly pea lemonade, orange coffee, and the matcha toast.atmosphere is great, nice and cozy, good place to stop and get warm with coffee and a French toast on a cold day.a bit pricey, but the food makes up for it.all in all, this is a great "diamond in the rough" place for coffee dates, friend meet ups, and the like.“

“This tiny, unassuming storefront is home so some of the best Ethiopian we’ve had in DC! Decided to try a new place for lunch on a whim, and absolutely loved the fresh-made and flavorful food made by Gueny herself. The special tibs were so delicious, served with shiro and collard greens. The injera was nice and spongy with good flavor. Gueny was so kind, checking on us to make sure we were doing ok and offering to explain the food as we were looking at the menu. The space is small but there are a few tables, but it would also be good for carry-out (I’m not sure if you can call ahead but it may be a good idea - everything is made to order so it takes time, but is certainly worth it!). Can’t wait to return to try the breakfast, coffee, and panini sandwiches.“

“Toni and John were the best welcoming us on our first visit and accommodating us due to our allergy. They gave us samples to taste and throughly went over the menu. We ordered the Hyattsville Stack which was delicious! They have a great selection of dessert that is made by Toni herself! We had the pudding that was made just an hour before and it was the best. We will be back to try more!“

“I ordered two cake slices and a Swiss roll to bring to a dinner and they were all delicious! The cake and frosting are not too sweet, and the fruit flavors taste like fresh fruit. The packaging is cute and makes each cake slice look like a gift. The store has lots of Japanese treats as well as the baked goods, and I will be returning to try more things.“

“Mixture Food Hall offers a variety of vegan foods, desserts, drinks, organic supplements, oils & herbs, play areas, arcade machines & including sport TV monitors, seating areas,180° bar area, upperstairs lounge space, 5 individual restrooms, parking space. The only downside was that baby strollers couldn't be rolled into from sidewalk & had to lift up the stairs. The art moral could be used for a photo background.Vegetarian options: They offered Musa's fried oyster mushroom sandwiches & a variety of sides; tacos qucidillas; bar beers & drinks; burgers; wings & salads. My son didn't like Musa food due to too salty fried oyster mushrooms & salty fries were overcooked. The wait staff was professional; followed food safety guidelines & customer service oriented.Parking: Small to mid-size cars & suvs use space but tight parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: They offered a play area including a table & 4 metal kid chairs with educational toys & games; a loga board game, arcade machine & shooting arcade game.“

“Büna has quickly become one of my favorite cafes of all time. The people who work there are so kind and remember your name and order and work to make your experience enjoyable and catered to you specifically. The food (both Ethiopian and American) is absolutely fantastic. Everything I’ve had has been a slam dunk. I am not someone who orders takeout almost ever and I’ve made an exception for this cafe. I keep coming back for the Ethiopian vegan rolls, fir fir side dish and brunch platter! Wish I could take this place everywhere I go!“

“If you like interesting, delicious food... Go here!! Spicy, flavor packed. Possibly the best restaurant in Silver Spring. The pickled mango dishes are always mouth watering. Green tea salad is bitter in a good way.Yelp messed up my order and they were incredibly understanding (I advise calling them to order directly though).“

“One of the few restaurants that has stood the test of time. Tasty gluten free food in an unpretentious atmosphere. If you get the lunch special it's pretty good value. With it being a beer and wine store as well, the drink prices and options are above average. If you are gluten free this is a gem. If you aren't, it's definitely worth a try. The gelato is good too.“

“Lemon Slice Cafe is one of Silver Spring's hidden treasures, and this reviewer would like to do all he can to remove the "hidden" part from the "treasure." The owner of the venue, Beth Yohannes, is a wonderful cook, serves generous portions, is a consummate customer service professional, and a generous human being who routinely supports less fortunate members of the community. My go-to meal is her salmon salad topped with avocado dressing, but each time I visit, almost always in the company of someone I am introducing to the venue or a repeat customer, I hear nothing but praise for whatever it is they have ordered - subs and sandwiches on bread, rolls or ciabatta, awaze tibs, portabello on panini, various wraps, burgers and more. There's also a wide assortment of items from the restaurant's all-day breakfast menu. Oh, yes, I nearly forgot. The ice coffee is one of the best in the area. So if you're in or around downtown Silver Spring during the morning or afternoon any day of the week, stop by, say "hello," and grab a bite to eat. You'll be supporting a small independent business owner and, just as important, treating yourself to a marvelous meal.“

“Love Flavor Garden! Tried for the first time last night and will def be coming back. OK, the setting is pretty basic and no one looks go in that lighting but, man, the food is fantastic!!! I had the Shrimp Po Boy and, as a frequent traveler to NOLA, prepared to be disappointed. It was AMAZING - 4 HUGE shrimp, beautifully seasoned and cooked, the perfect soft roll, fully dressed, including pickles, just like at Parkway Bakery and Tavern at the source. My dining companions had the Chicken Caesar wrap (tasty but a little too heavily dressed - easily remedied next time) and the Salmon BLT, declared excellent. The fries are delicious and so well seasoned that ketchup would be an insult. Finally, my son declared the onion rings ‘the best I’ve ever had’ and declined to share them. Will be trying those next time. Staff was super - friendly and knowledgeable, attentive in the best laid back way possible - a true gem!!!“

“The food, cleanliness, and customer service have all been top-notch during every visit thus far especially compared to the Gaithersburg location, which is much closer to my house, however I'm willing to drive the extra distance because I know that I'll have a better overall experience. Clearly, the manager @ the Rockville location runs a " tight" ( professional) ship & has taken the necessary steps to ensure their staff are properly trained. I even took a friend who normally goes to the Gaithersburg location, and she even commented on how much better this location is in comparison. Keep up the great work!“

“My husband and I love getting ice cream at Kyoto Matcha. I love the atmosphere and the vibe. We almost always get awesome service. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because one time we ordered a slice of cake to go and we were given a frozen slice. Normally we are asked when we are going to eat it. I asked if we could get a slice that isn’t frozen and the woman helping us didn’t have the best attitude about it. Misunderstandings happen but I don’t think it was handled well that time. The last couple times we’ve come for ice cream have been pleasant. Overall it’s a great place and I’d say one of the best.“

“An Asian coffee place, with breakfast, bakery, and quick lunch menu options. The place has nice chairs, and couches for working and chilling. I spent some time in the morning while working. The place was quite packed with remote workers working and chilling, taking calls. I got a regular coffee and tried two buns - one was a sesame bun with some pork, and another one with garlic cream cheese type filling inside. I didn’t like the second one much. They have wide variety of different buns, breads, and baked goodies. Nice ambiance and lot of food options.“

“We came in around 11 am on a Saturday, and the lunch rush came pouring in right after us. Clearly a popular spot with other Latino people too, so you know it's authentic. We ordered 4 bean and cheese pupusas and 2 chicken tacos and it all came in under $20. These are hands down the best pupusas in the area! The filling to masa ratio was perfect- I was stuffed after eating just one. The chicken in the tacos was really tasty and the portion sizes are big. They had a great menu with a mix of Salvadoran classics and American breakfast foods, so I'll be sure to order more next time. Definitely stop in while out antique shopping in this area!“

“Overall a positive experience. I enjoyed the tuna nicoise crepe, but my friend didn't really like the avocado treat crepe she got, due to the fact that despite being a savory crepe option, it seemed like the crepe itself was still sweetened. My friend didn't expect her savory crepe to have a sweet undertone, and so it didn't match her preference. I have a sweet tooth, so I didn't mind the slight sweetness alongside the sour/salty taste of the tuna in my crepe.I wonder if there's an option to request that no sugar be added to a savory crepe. If you're sensitive to sugar or don't like a mixture of sweet and savory flavors, you might want to ask about that before ordering.“

“Have had a number of items here and my impression is things are pretty hit or miss. I can recommend the tiramisu and the fruit tart, which were very good. However, I felt some of the desserts were a bit too sweet for my taste, including the mango mousse cake. I have also had one of the lunch sandwiches, can't remember which one, but I felt it was very average and there are many better places to get a lunch sandwich nearby.“

“not much of a food selection on the Sunday morning I went around 9am. A few pastries, no hot brkfst sandwiches that I could see. Asked for a large cappuccino and the person behind the counter simply said "no". I just stared at her a few seconds not knowing what to say and she finally clarified they only have cappuccino in small. so I ordered a small and moved on. Can't say I'll necessarily go back even though I'm there every week for a group meet. Probably will get my coffee elsewhere nearby.“

“Some of the best coffee I’ve had in ages, and a good egg-and-bacon bagel. Beautiful light, bright space with big murals. Lots of outlets. Very nice folks behind the counter. Lovely place where I’d love to hang out. “I can't believe I'm just finding out about this place. I literally work right next to it. My co worker told me about this spot and now I'm hooked. They serve breakfast and lunch and it's busy. It's busy for a reason. At first if you drive up you won't see it, there is a door in the back where you can get inside from but there is a walkway through some small bushes. Haha you can go inside the office building to get here too but the back way is easier. They have so many options to choose from. They have snacks, muffins, drinks. Sandwiches and pancakes. This is a one stop shop. I got their tuna wrap and it was good. My coworkers rave about their Ruban sandwich and go there weekly just for that. Customer service is top notch! This is one of those sneaky deli shops that you have to try out! No regret!“

“My fiancé and I happened to stumble across this place while looking for breakfast nearby. On first appearance, we weren't sure how this place would be. But, the food was awesome. Like 10/10. Haven't had breakfast this good in a while from a restaurant. Felt very authentic, not microwaved eggs like most places nowadays. Service was nice and quick. Coffee was pretty good, too.
