Wish I could comment on the actual food, but never got a chance. Attempted to patronize this place on three separate occasions for Lunch. Went the first time on a Monday - not realizing they are only open Tues-Sunday as indicated on their website. No biggie, I'll come back another time... Tried again on a Tuesday and the place was closed for some reason.. Tried again today (Tuesday) and they are closed again. Needless to say, I won't be coming back again.

For being a small corner restaurant, this is one of the friendliest environments and best meals I've had in Baltimore. First time trying Peruvian food and I loved it and the excellent service.

Andina was recommended by a friend and it's a small business located in downtown and just a 10 minute walk from Mt. Vernon. I visited along with a small group of people on a weekday before noon. I ordered an Old Bay shrimp empanada and it was made fresh to order. The empanada had decent filling, and the shrimp, potato, and cheese worked well with the crunchy shell. At just over $4 including tax, it was pretty affordable. If you're in the downtown area and are looking for a hearty snack or meal, this is a great hole in the wall to check out!

5 stars for sure! No doubt or second visit needed to make that call. Thus far, Andina's has been the best empanadas I've had in Baltimore. The are freshly made to order. Served pippin's hot. Wait a few minutes before diving in to reserve the roof of your mouth.I ordered 2. I tried the Traditional #1, which is steak, caramelized onions, olives and raisins, and a touch of powdered sugar. I also tried the Camaron #9, which is Shrimp, old bay, bacon, caramelized onion, potato, mozzarella cheese, jalapeño. They were served with 3 dipping sauces. I wasn't told what the sauces were when I received them. I tried them all but didn't need any because of the empanadas were so dern good!I absolutely loved them both!! The crust was so buttery and flaky. The empanadas were so evenly filled. Try Andina. You won't be disappointed!

Andina has such a cute vibe! It's nicely decorated with accents throughout the space and very clean. They even have a doogie treat section for all of the hound lovers. There is a small outdoor seating section for nice days. I'm so glad they have survived the pandemic that unfortunately has affected so many of the restaurants downtown. Please call/check their website before you go to confirm that they are open. The empandanas are delicious (#1 Tradicional, #2 AnticucheraI, & Camaron # 9). I have been here a few times during lunch and yesterday I tried the Alfajores cookies. Now you only get one, so you may need to order more! They are light and so sweet! Next time I will try the bowls and smoothies/juices.

This was my first time eating here and it was soooo good. I had the #4 Vegetarian (awesome and my fav), #8 Vegan/Tamal (really good), #9 Old Bay Shrimp (outstanding), and a Papaya Smoothie. Everything was so good. The filling combinations for the empanadas are so smart and tasty. I really enjoyed my food and drink. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The customer service is amazing and I will return for it all.Note: I ate everything so fast I forgot to take pictures. I will take more when I return.

Warm and friendly atmosphere. There was a mixup in my order which added to my wait time, but it was a comfortable enough environment so I did not mind. The empanadas were tender and flavorful.

Very solid peruvian option if you find yourself downtown. I tried several empanadas and they all were worth it. So far the lomo saltado empanada has been my favorite. Great traditional drinks too

Stop here while downtown. I got one #1 traditional and one #3 steak. I was a little disappointed in the amount of filling in the steak. The traditional was fantastic and the best empanada I have had since I moved back from Florida.

If you are in the area this is a must stop! We came in to Baltimore from out of town and this place caught our eye. So glad we stopped here! Food was great. Tried a variety of each one of their empanadas and they were all delicious(traditional and shrimp are a must try). Their Aji De Gallina Bowl was beyond tasty. The Maracuya Drink and Chicha Morada Drink..just wow. If we are ever in Baltimore we will stop here again without a doubt. Highly recommend. Our food was gone in seconds forgot to take good pictures of the food.

I am so happy to have Andina in my neighborhood! The staff are so friendly and personable, and the empanadas are delicious. I've had the #4 Vegetariana (sautéed mushrooms, onions, peppers, zucchini and broccoli and mozzarella cheese) and the #8 Vegana (Peruvian tamal with artichoke, zucchini, and mushroom in a sweet chili sauce). Both were delicious and had amazing dipping sauces to accompany them! I've also tried the Cherimoya Smoothie which was refreshing on a warm day. Andina is perfect for a snack (1 empanada) or a meal (2-3 empanadas) - go check it out!

I'd been meaning to check this place out for several years since I love empanadas. Finally got to the area for lunch today. The place is clean but small. Only 5 tables. The menu is very basic. They have 9 different empanadas and a few Peruvian bowls with some Peruvian smoothies and desserts. I decided on one Mixta and one Oriental empanada with a Chirimoya smoothie. Both were out of this world! Beat empanadas I've ever tasted! So good that I went back and got a third! My third was the Antichuchera. Another winner. My new favorite Empanada place. I highly recommend a visit.

This place is super close to the hotel (the Radisson, which I didnt completely enjoy my stay at, but this empanadas place was the silver lining) hosting the world oddities expo 2021. Apparently their hours are not closing at 8pm. Saturdays it closes at 5pm. However, I was able to give it a try if we got it to go! The man at the cashier was extremely polite. So I ordered my food the #1, #4, and #6. They all looked appealing so I figured to try as much as possible. #1 was unexpectedly good. It had powered sugar on the outside, which complimented the taste. Loved it. #4 I cannot resist a savory mushroom and perfectly melty, gooey cheese. I wish I had like 5 more. This was my favorite even though it was vegetarian. #6 I inhaled this one. I liked it, but I was hungry eating this one, so my brain didn't pay attention to taste. I'm not sure of the name of the sweet treat that he gave me and my friend, but it was also good. Powdered sugar was covering this treat. I also tried a drink. Good fruity drink was sweet It was good, but if I come back, I would try the other interesting flavors first before I get this again. I wish I took pictures but I was hungry. Also got a sugary pastry cookie with powdered sugar! Forget the name but it was divine! Sometimes sweets are too sweet, but this was just right!

It's safe to say I love this place ! Today was the second or third time ( don't quite remember lol) ordering delivery from here and each time was amazing. The Vegana #8 empanadas are to die for. One of the best vegan empanadas I've had so far since living in Baltimore. The vegan bowl was also pretty good and a different experience. The bowl is definitely it's best when it's fresh, I didn't like it as much when I reheated the leftovers.
