You can't charge $43 for a mediocre entree in delivery format during a pandemic. It's just not smart business. Normally the $43 pays for ambience. In delivery format it pays for mediocre food in people's living room. Pívot.

I rated Roy's last year with 5 stars and it is still an amazing 5 star review. I go every year with my husband for our anniversary. This year, due to COVID, we did carry out. I was slightly concerned about doing carry out. My concern was not necessary, because everything was amazing. The food was well prepared, the sauces were on the side so nothing became soggy, and the curbside pickup service was excellent. As always a great experience (even if most of it was at home) with amazing food.

Our waiter, Doug really worked to be very polite and fun to talk to. This is on top of serving every other table at the same time. He didn't show any stress or act anything other than pleasant. Ask for him by name.

I'll be honest in that I only had the chocolate soufflé, but it was just ok. It's a lava cake, not the fluffy soufflé that I was expecting. The lava cake was ok, just a standard lava cake. TLDR if you're getting dessert, the soufflé is actually a lava cake. Service was excellent though!

The food was excellent, I enjoyed a New York strip. the service was spot on, friendly, fast and responsive. The decor was fine, with little hints of Hawaiian elements. Located in harbor east, parking can be challenging, but definately a social scene. Price are a bit high, but the match the area and the experience. I recommend the New York strip.
