Coming down for a weekend trip to Baltimore from NyC and needed to find a place to kill an hour before my airbnb check in. This amazing vegan soul food spot is a 10 minute walk from the Amtrak station and an excellent inauguration to the spirit of Baltimore. The soul food places in Bushwick Brooklyn wishes they could taste this good. Y'all when I tell you this is THEE BEST vegan joint in Baltimore or maybe the whole East Coast, trust me, I tell you no lies. The food is awesome I traveled from Detroit Michigan with my husband who is from New York just to experience the soul food flavors that only this restaurant delivers.....They never miss y'all...the food hit the right spot...Vegetarian options: Their is something for EVERYONE

The food did not disappoint. I've heard so much about this place that I could not decide what to order. It came out pretty quickly. I had collard greens, sweet potatoes and akara (fried black eyed peas). My friend said the sweet potatoes tasted "healthy" but isn't that why we eat here? I mean...I would go back again. There's modest decor and the space could use a little brightening but I enjoyed my food so much! I'll be back and I'll recommend to everyone -- not only vegans.
