Let's start off with the ambience. From the artwork and decor to the music you walk feeling warm and welcome. The paintings on the walls are stunning pieces of original artwork and you can feel her love for the restaurant through how she decorates even down to the counter top where the register is. On my first visit I was treated with such kindness and efficiency. I ordered the suya pizza - it was amazing! Not to mention, the music playing had me dancing the whole time. I will be back very soon. ♡

Man, there's a lot of African spots here in the DMV but I gotta show Miya love. I had the Suya, plantains, and spinach which was a staple for me growing up. They didn't disappoint. My wife had the N'dole with corn fufu and she enjoyed her meal as well. Highly recommend!
