“The food was amazing!! I couldn’t believe how tasty it was. My friend is vegetarian so it was so cool she had options. We got dumpings regular and vegan and the red miso and mushroom ramen. There is also cool option to reward staff with beer! We had to do it! (˘ ▽ ˘) っ ♨(ˆڡˆ)“
“We had an amazing time and Carlos was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the wait was minimal to none. The place has a very welcoming atmosphere and I would recommend it to any friend, family member, or loved one. It definitely lived up to the hype and exceeded it in my opinion“
“This is a small restaurant but people are served quickly and waits for tables are very short. The katsukare is fantastic. Real japanese curry flavor. The hot tea is also very delicious. We had no complaints about the ika geso, which was fantastic and a fantastic portion. The kaki furai was a little over cooked, and only four pieces, but still a very good flavor. House warm sake does the job.Compared to Akira Ramens pathetic excuse for tonkatsu curry (katsukare), this was a taste from heaven.“
“I came here around 9 pm on a weekday night because I was starving and craving some Japanese food. This place is technically located inside Kusshi Sushi, so you would just be seated regularly there and can order food off their menu. For Donburi Dojo and Ramen House, the food items are listed on the Silver Spring online menu (but you can still order them here at the Bethesda location!). I ordered a pork katsu don. It blew me away with how good it was and totally surpassed my expectations. All of the katsu pieces were cooked well and mixed great with the egg and onions. The sauce was my favorite part because of how flavorful it was, ultimately creating a slightly sweet dish that completely hit the spot for me. It's easily the best katsu don that I've had in the DMV area!“
“Really neat, cozy spot for homestyle Japanese food + interesting wine and a large sake menu. We enjoyed sitting at the bar upstairs, and particularly loved the special black cod with miso, the snap peas, and the fried rice. Everything was made with care and presented in an elegant yet approachable fashion. Looking forward to returning the next time I am in DC.Vegetarian options: There is a section of the menu devoted to vegetable dishes, as well as tofu, vegetable tempura, and vegetarian fried rice or noodles.“
“My family and I like this place.Food Quality: more selections of appetizers and taste better than most places around Rockville area. Though my husband still prefers the quality of Maki Maki's ramen. Everything else is great here.Staff: always happy and nice, attentive.“
“I went for brunch on a Sunday with 7 people. Our server was awesome and put in our order for us because we wanted to try everything. The food came out hot and fresh. The steak and eggs were great, the pork belly hash, and I enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Bellinis were delicious!!“
“Relatively small ramen shop with a variety of broth options. The spicy miso wasn’t actually spicy and had a good miso base. I preferred the more garlicky shoyu broth. The noodles themselves were a good level of chewy. The bowl itself could benefit from mushroom toppings, but otherwise the options are present. Overall delicious ramen!“
“My wife and I went to Hanaro during lunch time, but it was only for takeout. There were some crumbs on the floor and some dust by the waiting area, but the store was fairly clean. The price of the sushi is reasonable and the taste and flavor of the sushi is of the highest quality. I am giving this restaurant a four-star rating because the taste of the sushi was truly exceptional and of the highest quality. Despite some minor cleanliness issues, the reasonable price and outstanding flavor make Hanaro a great choice for sushi lovers.“
