We love Rakugaki! It's smaller, less chaotic, and a bit more stylish than its sister restaurant Raku in Bethesda. The hamachi crudo appetizer is my absolute favorite. The Sashimi is bright and fresh, and we always add scallop to the order. Rolls are pretty and delicious - we usually get the shrimp tempura, which is great. Food had good variety and were interesting fusion. Quality and taste were amazing for every bite, especially the sea urchin sushi and fatty tuna sushi. Drinks were great. Servers were super nice. Ambience was nice. A bit on the pricier end but well definitely return.

Lots and lots of food options (don’t forget to look at their Menu Specials, separate from their regular menu). Loved that their menu was marked for dietary restrictions (I.e., GF) so we did not have to ask additional on how the dish was prepared. The server was very attentive and all dishes came out fast and fresh.
