“We came here late on a Saturday afternoon, technically while happy hour was going on, but we chose the dinner menu. My son had the fresh burrata an appetizer (tasty) and hanger steak (good). My husband and I both started with the seasonal soup -- a carrot ginger which felt a bit thin. He and my mom both had the blackened salmon -- she thought it was great and he thought it lacked some flavor. I had the smoked duck breast which was fine -- the side it came with was great. The restaurant wasn't full which meant we could hear well and the hostess became our server was nice -- though maybe a bit nervous. The bathrooms were clear though it felt a bit like a rest stop bathroom -- odd given their menu and prices.“
“Lots and lots of food options (don’t forget to look at their Menu Specials, separate from their regular menu). Loved that their menu was marked for dietary restrictions (I.e., GF) so we did not have to ask additional on how the dish was prepared. The server was very attentive and all dishes came out fast and fresh. “Highly recommended sitting at the bar!! We chatted with the bartender Nick most of the night and he made us some of the best cocktails (N/A ones too). Lots of great options and phenomenal service. “Visiting Bethesda from Idaho and THIS is the place to go for a great bite to eat. I mean, how often do you get to have some of the best hotdogs and brats you'll ever have, plus the flavor combinations for what they put on it has a food connoisseur like myself tearing up with joy. I had a bratwurst on 3 slightly toasted Hawaiian rolls with grilled onions, coleslaw (instead of kraut), and mustard. Wife had the cowboy with beef hotdog, cheese sauce, BBQ sauce, and topped with crushed fried onions. All I could say is wow that was really good food, and the service was awesome too. Can you believe you can actually get these 24hrs a day? This would be my go to weekend spot if I lived here. Thanks for the great food, service, and atmosphere you gave to us.“
“I made reservations ahead of time for Valentine's Day and we were immediately seated. We ordered the pizza del campo, ravioles 4 quesos, rigatoni frank sinatra and the fettuccine alla bolognese. The service and atmosphere were excellent. The only comment I have is that the sausage was missing from our pizza. Otherwise, I'd recommend La Panetteria to anyone looking for good Italian food!“
“After tea at Hillwood Estate, my friends and I stopped by the Cherry Blossom Festival Pop-up Bar at Fiavola Restaurant inside The Bethesdan. It will be there until 4/14. The restaurant was decorated with cherry blossom garlands and cherry petal pillows. The service was better at the bar than the table. For drinks, we enjoyed the Cherry Blossom inspired cocktails, including Japanese Slipper and Blossom 75, and Pinot Grigios. For food, we enjoyed the Slider Trio, Poutine, and Suntory Whisky Glazed Chicken Wings. The Slider Trio consisted of a burger, crabcake, and fried chicken thigh slider. Among the three sliders, my fiance enjoyed the crabcake the most. I liked how the chicken wings were sweet and tangy and came with carrots and celery served with ranch dipping sauce. It was a bit messy to eat, but that was expected.“
“Tommy Joes is the bar you go to when you want a nice casual vibe. The staff is friendly, the drinks are delicious and on Monday nights there's live music I think 7-1030p. Tommy Joe is also the name of one of the bartenders there and he's great!“
“Wow. Was hesitant to dine here with friends based on lukewarm reviews but was pleasantly surprised to find that everything was perfection. The ambiance was bright and elegant, the staff, including our phenomenal server Matthew, were attentive without being overbearing, the food was perfectly seasoned, portioned and exceptionally flavorful. Our water glass was always full, which is a rarity these days. I am so glad we gave this place a try and would be delighted to return. Highly recommend for a date night, night out with friends, or just a cozy place for a drink and solid meal.“

Only had tacos at the end of a drunk night, and those were pretty good. 4 stars for the tacos because they were quite dry.PS, the shots are ridiculously expensive at 15 for a mini shot. “The food here was delicious!! Such bold flavors, not overbearing, just present in the right amounts. Perfectly balanced and fresh. Dax was our server. Very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. FTI: At the moment there's construction happening that obscures the location a bit. We definitely recommend.“
