“My fiancé & I visited Rooted rotisserie in Hollins market & immediately fell in love! From the door the staff was welcoming & very inviting. We sat at the bar & the waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu & made great recommendations. The ambiance is warm, cozy & very inviting. We sampled several things from the menu. The rotisserie chicken & greens were AMAZING! They were the stand out of the evening for me. My fiancé loved the short ribs & Mac n cheese. If you haven't visited yet. Please come & support this amazing black owned & operated business. You will not be disappointed!!“

“We had such a phenomenal experience at Marta for the first time! Holly behind the bar is an absolute STAR! She has such a shining personality, and she makes the BEST cocktails that I have had in such a long time. Neal is an incredible server. He took such good care of us and made our dining experience something really special and worth remembering. The food was amazing. You can teach people to make good drinks, to create a great atmosphere, to cook delicious food… but when it all comes together under one roof in one seamless experience it is truly something special. Neal, Holly, and staff at MARTA- you all are superstars and you all deserve the highest of praise! I will be a fan of you all (and therefore of MARTA) for years to come. See you all again soon.“
“Quality! This little hole in the wall doesn't look like much but go inside and meet Song and grab some food... you'll be back again and again. You'll get to know Song and her family and she'll get to know you and yours and once she does, she never forgets ya and treats you like a long time friend <3“

“Garden American has the best casual breakfast and lunch options in Fed Hill. It is inexpensive and delicious. I love getting a classic bacon, egg, and cheese on a wrap. They have a ton of options and the hash browns are fire. We love Garden!!! The staff and owners are always super nice and accommodating. If you need a quick, solid bite to eat, this is your place!“

“The only problem is needing a wheelbarrow to roll us out the restaurant when we're finished! We've enjoyed every entree we've tried, from fish to meats to chicken pot pie. The jalapeño cornbread is a personal favorite... even the driest piece I've had was still an absolute pleasure with a little heat and a lot of flavor. But it's the desserts that keep drawing us back, particularly the bread pudding! The live music trio that we heard tonight was a first, but then again, we've never gone on a Friday night. The music was terrific and disappeared into the background, but it did seem like people were louder than usual which then made it a little hard to have a conversation using our "indoor voices."“

“I‘ve been trying new places since this year started. As you can see the food was so good we couldn’t wait to eat it. This is place #27 and I must say this spot is my #1 spot.I was looking for somewhere my puppy can go with too after a trip to the park. He loved it, he’s learning not to jump on people. He got to excited and jumped on my server and she didn’t even stress it, she was friendly with my dog and me. The water really relaxed us, made the experience 10x better. We ordered two Crushes, they were not as strong as we like them but, well blended. The Wings and the Calamari were delicious. The hot wings were not spicy as we like it but, crispy and tasty! The burger was the best burger we’ve had in a while. My chicken sandwich came with crab dip, and it tasted like they used REAL crab meat! Definitely going back to try more on the menu! I see now they are open for breakfast/brunch and I am excited to try it. I need to check in to see if they offer any rewards, I found my go-to spot. This will be a place where they get tired of seeing my face!“

“I came here with one of my besties after the Mariah Carey concert this past December and we ordered off of the late night menu, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I was recommended this restaurant off of reddit and I am so glad a listened because the smash burger here was one of the best burgers I think I have ever had. Our waiter was also such a pleasure and attentive. Also, such an immaculate vibe inside, especially at night!Parking: There is free street parking on Conkling St. and the crossing street but it can definitely be a pain at certain hours of the day. Definitely not bad though and in a fine part of the city I felt safe walking at night in.“

“Made a reservation last minute for dinner but they had plenty of time slots. Fair warning: they do not have a parking lot so you'll be at the mercy of street parking which after circling around a few minutes, a spot did open up near the restaurant. Staff was friendly and checked on us often. The inside is a bit small so I can see tables going quickly during busy times. Cocktails are amazing. The crab dip appetizer was beautifully presented and loved the side of veggies like carrots and celery that came with it. For our entrees, my bf got the special which was a fancy burger that was 2 smashed patties and sliced filet mignon on top of those patties. He did not leave a crumb. lol I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was enormous and I could barely put a dent in it. I cared more about finishing my delicious cocktails. Would absolutely recommend.“
“I hosted my birthday party here as a 34 yr old and the event was a huge hit. The staff were amazing the booze was reasonably priced, the event was filled with action, and the food was good. The worst part is that you sit all side-by-side so it's hard to chat with all your friends. It was awesome the one time. I don't think I'd actively pursue going again but if there was another event here I would definitely go.“

“A truly exceptional experience, though the price is as high as the quality. Fantastic food -- tasty, creative/unique, and visually stunning -- with five-star service. Highly recommend the fried oysters, and the lobster curry soup is to die for. Enjoyed everything, but those two stood out as truly special.“

“Food was flat-out delicious. Those who ordered cocktails were impressed. Service was prompt and very helpful. The space is quite pleasant but a little loud for conversation. Not cheap, but well worth the price. Definitely recommended.Dietary restrictions: Staff were very helpful in ensuring that dishes were free of problem ingredients and helped find options when necessary.“

“We visited Baltimore this weekend, and we couldn't leave without trying some of the best restaurants in Baltimore, Miss Shirley's was beyond delicious. Whenever we come back to the city, this will be our top #1 breakfast/brunch spot for sure. Service could be a little improved, and friendly staff could be nicer.“

“We actually hit up two Miss Shirley's locations in our few days' trip to Baltimore. At the Inner Harbor, I'd considered the Crab and Fried Green Tomatoes Benedict but settled for a less expensive omelet. It was very good but when I saw another table's crabby benedict, I had major brunch envy. When we stopped in Roland Park on the way out of town, I fixed my error, and I can say with certainty that I'd pay thirty bucks for that brunch again and again! The crab, corn, asparagus, and peppers in the hash were clearly fresh and perfectly flavored. The fried green tomatoes were exactly firm enough with a super crispy and tasty breading, piping hot, and not at all greasy. The eggs were done to perfection, the hollandaise topped it all perfectly, and though I didn't have nearly enough room to finish the side of hashbrowns I'd added on, they were a really good match with the dish! My only regret was that I didn't have enough stomach space to try even more of the menu. It was hands-down my favorite meal of the trip. We hadn't hit a proper seafood restaurant on the trip because I was traveling with a friend with a shellfish allergy, but this didn't feel like a compromise at all. He has many food allergies, and he was still able to find meals he loved on both occasions and the waitstaff and manager reassured us that the utmost care would be taken to avoid contamination. He actually gets ill pretty frequently after restaurant visits from tiny amounts of one thing or another, but at both locations, my friend had the rate treat of a perfectly allergy free meal!Dietary restrictions: They take incredible care to cater to those with allergy concerns, and that was a wonderful service to us!“

“This place was amazing. As soon as we pulled up the chef thanked us for coming and told us where to go. The wings were juicy and flavorful. The crabby fries and Crab Dip tasted amazing. Ms. Patty was awesome and was so nice tell us the key details we didn’t know. The chef even came up to us and talked about his award winning wings! This place is 10/10 in my books. This needs more attention“

“My husband and I went to Topside for our anniversary and it was amazing! The place is absolutely beautiful and is inside Hotel Revival. The hotel is also very beautiful! They Valet if you don’t want to look for parking at $17 for the first two hours. Our server was amazing, energetic, friendly, and very helpful. She gave us recommendations and even a history lesson of what we were seeing outside of the window! It was George Washington by the way lol. You get an amazing view of downtown Baltimore. The food was delicious and came out quick. They even have non-alcoholic drinks that are pretty delicious. 10/10 would recommend this to friends! Thank you for the hospitality!“

“We went for the first time and already can't wait to go back. Everything we had was amazing, especially the mac and cheese and the Peruvian chicken sausage. We even took some sausages home to cook later. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant and bar had a really good vibe with lots of local art. Seating is a little limited, but we had no issues during lunch on a Friday.“

“The Good: I had a cup of tea (arrived piping hot) and the Lazy French Toast (delicious but arrived just warm). Our server was attentive and seemed on the ball. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. The Not so Good: How is it that a restaurant specializing in fancy breakfasts and brunches doesn't have an Espresso machine for lattes and cappuccinos? Two out of our party of three really wanted a fancy coffee but it was not to be had there. The place was also incredibly noisy and the tables were close together so it was hard to converse without shouting. The really bad: Only two unisex toilets for a dining room that probably seated 100 people. That's 2 actual toilets, not restrooms. There was a long line to get into one of the 2 toilets on a Sunday and that's pretty bad when you are of a certain age and can't wait.“

“I've heard good things about The Grill, but this was my first visit. The meatloaf and garlic mashed potatoes were wonderful. My waitress was excellent... very friendly and efficient. She welcomed me as a new customer. Sorry,I forgot her name but "thank you"!I'll definitely be back for the ribs soon. My friend told me that they are the best "fall off the bone" ones she has ever eaten.Parking: I was there at 3 p.m. but heard it is crowded at noon. That is because they serve large portions of quality food at reasonable prices and offer good customer service!“

“The place is small but not as small as blue moon 1. We ordered coffee, 2-2-2 with french toast and turkey sausage, the chicken fry, pancakes, and grits. There was no flavored creamer but they do have the liquid flavors. The food as was DELICIOUS! Grits with cheese was made to perfection! My man said the pancake and chicken fry was top tier. My 2-2-2 was gone! I cleared my plate. We went on Monday and currently making reservations for Saturday.“

“WOW! WE LUCKED OUT!We stumbled upon this little spot in Fells Point, not realizing what a hidden GEM it was! The menu is chocked full of fun/creative & delicious brunch-type items. We had a tough time choosing & the French toast options we spotted looked amaaaazing. We settled on sharing the b'fast sandwich & the bacon/blue patty melt with the maple-glazed/caramelized mushrooms/onions on the side (which was a tasty topping on both sandwiches). We also ordered a side of pancakes that were light & fluffy. The food was yummy, the quality was excellent, and portion sizes were huge! Kudos to the chef and our hard-working, accommodating waiter for a fabulous first-timer's experience.“

“We had such a fantastic anniversary dinner here last night. We were greeted with complimentary glasses of champagne; such a special touch! Nahal (unsure of spelling), our server, was fantastic; she was attentive and gave insightful recommendations whenever asked. The cocktails we had throughout the evening were wonderful. Wandering Days sounded intriguing with the housemade orange-rosemary-cinnamon syrup. This one had a slight smokiness to it which my husband enjoys more than I do, so we traded. Winter in Jalisco was bright and well balanced, especially for someone who doesn't always love tequila. We agreed The Witcher was probably the best cocktail of the evening and had a nice jaminess to it. For appetizers we shared the Tuna tartare; generous chunks of very fresh tuna, lovely crispy topping and the avocado puree holding it together was wonderful. We tried the charred Octopus Au Poivre. This was a recommendation and such a delight. It had some curry notes in there which made it very interesting. My husband usually hates octopus that isn't breaded and deep fried, but he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Short Rib and Mushroom Stroganoff pasta as my main course. This was outstanding! Not only did it have short rib and bacon, but also duck confit; delicious. The house made cavatappi pasta had a nice bite to it without being too hard; perfect. My husband had the Red Wine Braised Short Rib; also excellent, although the tomatoes made it a little sweet. For dessert we had the new Caramel Bread Pudding with caramel ice cream. Loved that the restaurant not only gifted dessert to us for our anniversary, but also allowed us to choose which dessert we wanted! We don't normally go for bread pudding, but this was nice as well. And ending the meal with some Blanton's on the rocks? Killer! Highly recommend Copper Shark.“

My salad had dressing and flavor on EVERY piece of lettuce, it was so impressive. The smash burger was perfect and these are the best fires I've had in Fed. The vibes are on. Service is great. “Much smaller restaurant than I had expected. It's pretty tight quarters and you walk into the bar area which can be very crowded. If you're not expecting that it can feel like going through a gauntlet. There is also no checking podium. You just kind of grab someone and let them know you're there. Food was fantastic but we felt the entrees prices were a bit high and limited in selection.“

“Came to Baltimore for work and wanted to check out the crab cake omelette but I got there when lunch was served so I turned my choice into a crab cake roll and fries. Everything was delicious, I can only imagine what the breakfast tastes like! I was served by the staff and everyone was very nice and friendly and didn't make me feel like I had to rush even though they were closing soon (sorry about that)! “Went here for Valentines Day dinner. The food quality and service was diminished from my prior experiences (4.3*). I ordered the crab cake which was good. It came with a mushy corn and caper side. I ordered the apple tart for dessert and the crust was raw. After 10 minutes with no service, she came by and cleared the uneaten dessert without asking if there was anything wrong. The kitchen and service staff performed sub par on an important date night for most.“

“This gem has what you'd call a Polished Vintage Vibe. A comfy local feel but snazzy at the same time. The food is divine. Familiar items - but layers of satisfying flavor within. The kitchen is putting care and detail in their work. Happy hour appeared to have been very busy for them, so I was glad we ate a bit later. We sat at the comfortable bar and were greeted warmly by multiple staff members. Started with some French onion soup - very rich and a little bit sweet. My friend ordered a smoked barrel-aged Old Fashioned... with the indulgent addition of a cloud of smoke under its glass lid. Very smooth & sweet with a terrific combo of aromas. We moved on to the Caprese Burger with crispy wedge fries. Again, deep flavor! Then the Alabama Slamma chicken sandwich, which was perfect with a hint of citrus in its sauce. I think any and all sauces/condiments throughout the menu really help items stand out. One of the servers has been brewing his own hot sauces for this place and he brought them out for us to play with. All 3 were unique and multi-layered. It was a great hang, and we'll be back!“

“Well, I started off with a blueberry muffin. I asked if they would grill it for me. They said yes that's how we prepare it anyway. It was very lightly grilled so the inside was still cold. I didn't complain I just ate it after all it's a muffin. I had a veggie omelette it came with fruit, fried potatoes and toast. I asked for grilled onions they gave me two slices of grilled red onions for a buck. I also had the banana foster french toast it was delicious. I was hungry huh? My friend had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It was beyond dry it was as though they shredded the chicken and forgot the mayo. He asked for some mayo so that he could eat the thing. It didn't help. Lastly when we got the bill gratuity had been added to it. Now I wasn't sure why because we never complained or seemed upset. It was only two of us and it was in the morning. I've been in the food industry for 25 years so I don't send food back or complain. So I did speak with management to let them know that if you're going to automatically add gratuity it needs to be specified somewhere in the menu and it wasn't. I would go back but we're not getting that chicken again ?“

“I’m currently trying all the cheesesteaks in the area.. and decided to give this one a try after driving by it. Wow. Customer service — Great. The cheesesteak? Also great. The flavor, the amount of meat and toppings, the fries, the bread were all perfectly put together. Those hot peppers set the flavor off. Order was ready in 10 mins— they waited to put the fresh fries in until I got there. Definitely a “hole in the wall” if I had to describe the vibe of the restaurant. Definitely a must try if you haven’t already. I’ll be back for sure. I’ll take a picture next time haha. Thank you guys!“
