“I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars because the food was very good. I got the Chicken Masala and I really liked it! However, if I were to take the service into consideration, it would be a 3 star review.I have a few recommendations for the establishment. When a customer walks in, have the staff greet them as soon as they notice them. “Hi! I’ll be with you in a second” always works great. I saw that the employee was busy so I didn’t bother him but any kind of communication that he noticed me at the register would have been appreciated. He walked past me multiple times. The employee didn’t say a word to me once he finally made it to the cash register. Without a word, he just looked up at me and waited for me to order. Typically employees say “Hi, what can I get you?” when taking an order. Maybe he was having a rough day and I understand that but customers do remember these little things, especially when it is a family owned business.Also, I ordered for takeout and I didn’t get napkins or plastic silverware.Overall, I really liked the food and I am the type of customer that will return for good food, but I believe that if you teach your staff basic customer service, your business will really flourish and you will 100% see a positive difference in your reviews.“
“Very good food they have ! It’s a hidden place so a bit hard to find terrible location cause of it lol! I ordered a cheese burger and it was very satisfying! I should have have asked for onions cause it doesn’t come with it but I have some at home. Anyways very good satisfying burger I’m very pleased ! Cashier is very friendly but why do they cook food by themselves? Interesting anyways I’m satisfied lol“
“This is my second time trying their food and it was so good! Two nights ago I tried the spicy BBQ wings with the seasoned fries it was a 10/10. Last night I tried the combo over rice with pita and seasoned fries 11/10!! Delicious food! The portion sizes are big and very filling. The store is neat and clean. Food was ready on time with lots of sauces on the side.“

“This is a place is awesome. I ordered samosa and a lamb gyro. I have never been asked if I wanted my gyro spicy. But I was, and I must say this was the best gyro I have ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious also loved the samosas!!!! I will be back for more menu items“
“I can honestly say that I am blown away! Sister Abeer was so hospitable and quick on her feet. She prepared our order within minutes! I got the burger and fries combo and it was such a treat! Definitely the best tasting beef burger that I’ve had! I wish I lived closer to Lanham so I could visit it more often (I would definitely be a regular if I did lol). “Seriously do NOT pay attention to the nagearive reviews. This place is 10x better than MOBY DICK around the corner. They give you complimentary bread and dip. Their kabob is the tenderest and juiciest in town. I don't know what oil and butter mix they use to cook it, but it is to die for. Best of all, they don't nickel and dime you for grilled onions, bread, and sauce like moby dick does. Honestly, woth mama joon around, I expect moby dick to go out of business soon.“
“Amazing chicken and just to warn you it is extra spicy. We got the medium and hot chicken sandos and the medium is hot and the hot is extra hot. We had the entire medium and half of the hot one. We also got mild and medium chicken tenders as well as the hot and extra hot chicken bites and my wife had a hot one and it was quite hot and well save the extra hot and rest of food for tomorrow for dinner. We got UberEats BOGO deals which made the food very cheap. So glad we tried Hangry Joes!“
“My first time here! I was at the gym until 10pm and I wanted to see if there was any food place nearby open late. Found this gem and wanted to try it out since I like halal food. Best decision ever! Friendly employees and OMG the first bite into this and I immediately thought that was FIRE, like really good at a good price. I got the combo platter (lamb & chicken over rice w/ white sauce & chili chutney) and both meats were very tender & yummy. Can't say for the other menu items as I haven't tried them yet, but I'll def be back. Highly recommend, so definitely check them out!“
