“If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The food is always delicious and hot. Also, Nori gives the best customer service! When the shop was closing, he still took my order with graciousness and a smile. VERY friendly! Next time I am in the area, I will certainly stop. Looking forward to trying Sticky Fingers at Towson Mall, another affiliated shop. A satisfied customer from PA!“
“My wife and I have been here a few times now and they never disappoint. She gets the chicken over rice and I get a combo of chicken and lamb over rice. The portions: HUGE. The flavor: Phenomenal! The meat is so tender and juicy with just the right amount of spice. I have never had lamb so tender before unless my mother was cooking it. The price: just about $10 a person. They also have a full menu of American fare like burgers, tenders, chicken sandwiches and fries. Very friendly staff and they are always cleaning between orders. Definitely an A++.Vegetarian options: Anyone who knows Middle Eastern food knows that falafel are vegetarian.“
“Title: A Delightful Combination: A Review of the Chicken Rice ComboRating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)I recently had the pleasure of trying the chicken rice combo, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! This harmonious pairing of succulent chicken and fragrant rice left a lasting impression on my taste buds. Here's my review of this heavenly combination. The chicken, oh, the chicken! It was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. Each bite was bursting with flavor, as the savory seasonings penetrated the meat, creating a delightful symphony of taste. The skin had a nice crispness to it, adding an enjoyable textural contrast. Whether it was roasted, grilled, or braised, the chicken was always cooked to perfection, leaving me craving for more. Now, let's talk about the rice. A good chicken rice combo is incomplete without fragrant, fluffy rice, and this combo certainly delivered. The rice was infused with aromatic herbs and spices, resulting in a heavenly fragrance that made my mouth water. Each grain was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of moisture and a delicate yet distinct flavor that complemented the chicken impeccably. One of the things that truly sets a great chicken rice combo apart is the accompanying sauces. And this combo did not disappoint. From the tangy chili sauce to the piquant ginger sauce, each condiment added its own unique dimension to the dish. The chili sauce provided a subtle kick, while the ginger sauce brought a refreshing zing that balanced the richness of the chicken and rice. These sauces elevated the entire experience and added an extra layer of enjoyment to each bite. The portion size of the chicken rice combo was generous, providing a satisfying meal. Whether you're dining alone or sharing with a companion, it's a filling and satisfying choice. The presentation was also appealing, with the golden-brown chicken resting atop a bed of fragrant rice, garnished with fresh herbs. It was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.Overall, I highly recommend the chicken rice combo to anyone who appreciates a harmonious blend of flavors. It's a truly satisfying and delicious meal that will leave you craving more. Whether you're a fan of chicken, rice, or both, this combination is sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you with a memorable culinary experience. Give it a try, and prepare to be impressed!“
“Danish has aisles and aisles full of South Asian staples ranging from dal and other beans to rice in all size bags, nuts, spices, sweets, pasta, and more items. I got a bag of basmati, cashews, golden raisins, and lime pickle. There is also fresh halal meat. I got ground lamb for making burgers. There is a small restaurant also with takeout as well as a couple of cozy booths. It's easy to miss the entrance to the little shopping center, but once there, one finds plenty of parking. Non-Asian shoppers may be confused by the name, but Danish (also spelled Danesh) means knowledge or wisdom in Urdu. One is certainly a wise shopper to take advantage of the great variety and bargains at Danish.“
“This is a great place to get very delicious food. The Goat was off the chain, seriously they let it loose. Just kidding but I think you get it get the Karahi Goat and live happy. I also got the Chicken 65, if you ever see a menu item with a name like that…. Just get it.We will come back again when possibleDietary restrictions: Pork or Shellfish, glad I don’t have to worry about either here as I do not like products that contain these.“
“I ordered food to treat my associates, at last moment called Mr. Khalil the owner was so kind that he had our order ready in 20 minutes. The food was finger licking good, best thing is all their products are halal. All of my associates asked where we had ordered the food from? Happy associates happy business. Thank you Mr. Khalil for your generous service. Will definitely keep you guys on speed dial.“
“Great service, and a nice cafe. I thought the food was good, but maybe wouldn't recommend the burrito as a first choice. It wasn't bad, and certainly was huge, but I don't know. It was missing something. Maybe cilantro, onions, garlic? It was spicy, but a little “
“Mohamed and Nicole are wonderful. Always with a smile and friendly. Their food is the best around. It's our go to place for lunch. The most important things is they treat my wife like a queen. We love you! Jay and MacieKid-friendliness: Brought my grandchildren by and they l9ved it.“
“The restaurant can be summarized with very great meat items and underwhelming vegetarian items. The wings were probably the best wing I had in recent times. Though the chutney/sauce was average, the wing itself was something else. That's why I am giving 5 stars just for the sake of the wings despite overall mixed feelings. The kabab was also very good. Tea was also good and was in big cups. The veg items were really underwhelming though. The Samosa chat was average. Aalu tikka was flavourless. And the papri chat was not even a chat, it was just dry nimki with some onion and spice. I hope they are improvising. The lady on the front was courteous and really tried to take care of customers and was also asking for feedback. Overall I recommend this place especially for non vegetarians.“
“if you're looking for great Russian/Asian food this place has it all and makes it from stock. lamb beef chicken kebabs are fantastic. All their breads are baked fresh they have all the Russian appetizers like herring and potatoes etc. great soups. It's like you are in a five star restaurant in Tbilisi, Tashkent or Moscow. The atmosphere is even a little post-Soviet. Very nostalgic in a lot of ways.“
“I ordered the 1/2 chicken with the hot sauce. The chicken was nice size, moisted and very flavorful. It was the first time at this restaurant. I've been to Peri Peri restaurant in Silver Spring. This restaurant has a notch up. Not sure that the restaurants are affiliated. I'll definitely visit again since I live in the area. The side order of seasoned fries was very good! If you are in the area, this restaurant is worth a visit! The staff is very friendly.Parking: Parking shared with other businesses.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessible. Large booths and individual tables.“
“I’m not into crab cakes like that but I recently tried the ones from my Halal Tacos and they exceeded my expectations! The perfect blend of flavors and the freshness of the crab made for a delightful experience . I highly recommend trying these flavorful crab cakes.“
“So this is my 4th time coming here and I was wrong in my initial assessment of this restaurant; no they aren't good, they are AMAZING. Simply put their food in delicious their service is always impeccable. They are courteous and clean. I hope this place stays in this location because they by far are the best halal I've had in this metro area.“
“On my way to work, I just found this restaurant came here for lunch with my colleagues, and we really liked the clean, enjoyable atmosphere. The meal is next.We ordered chicken and lamb kabobs, wings, loaded fries, and mango shakes. Everything was delicious, with the beef being perfectly cooked and flavorful and juicy and it is cooked from fresh. The mango smoothie was delicious. The service was swift and spotless“

Nothing can beat that experience after a long journey with another long drive ahead.Made our day, thank you Babul vai and Kabob and Curry, will be back.“
“This place resonates with pure positivity and love. They put their all into their business and show it through their amazing customer service and excellent quality of food. “This place has been going strong for over 15 years. Hands-down the BEST lamb platter I've ever had. Everyone is very nice. I don't live in Baltimore anymore, but I make a point to visit my friends for some good food every time I come through the city. If you find yourself in Baltimore, do yourself a favor: try this food!“
“So, I was looking for a legit Karachi level desi resturant in the DMV area and nothing would come close to Desi Bethak until I came across this spot. This resturant is a blessing for us folks, living in Maryland who dont want to drive all the way to Virginia suffering I495 just to get good food.I tried Chicken Karahi, Goat Karahi, Chicken Pulao, Seekh Kababs and Beef tawa Qeema. During my multiple visits I also got a chance to try their Halwa Puris, parathy and fried chicken. I would say they are very consistent with quality and taste. Karahis are really flavorfull. Kababs are a bit okay but Tawa qeema was out of this world! Same goes with the Pulao. Legit Pulao! Halwa puri are traditional the way they should be, tasty and flavorful. Parathas were a bit disappointing though, should skip it. Their sesame seed naans are to die for!! Loved those fresh hot naans with everything. On top of all this, their service is top notch, friendly staff, giving you a feeling of eating out by providing proper service and cutlery. I would recommend thos to all my folks in the DMV area.“
“The food was great. It's fast food.. so five stars for fast food... not fine dining. Everything tasted fresh. The employees were efficient. Not super friendly but effective. There weren't a lot of places to sit so it's probably better to go when it's not a commonly busy dining time.“
“For the past six years, I’ve been a loyal patron of Upper Crust Pizzeria, and it’s for some very good reasons. This restaurnt isn’t just a place to grab a quick bite; it’s a community cornerstone, embodying the essence of dedication and small business ownership. What sets Upper Crust apart isn’t just their consistently outstanding pizza; it’s the soul of the place. The owner, Mohammed is a pillar of the community, you’ll find him there almost every day, working alongside his son. Their involvement and commitment shine through every slice of pizza served. It’s evident in the zest of their garlic rolls, the crispness of their chicken wings, and the perfect golden fries. But Upper Crust is more than just great food; it’s about the people. This family-run gem truly cares for its customers, making every visit personal and every meal memorable. They have weathered the storms of COVID and all that mess, proving that passion and quality stand the test of time.I urge you, my fellow Howard County residents, to support this local treasure. Upper Crust Pizza is not just a pizzeria; it’s the lifeblood of our community.Give them a try and you’ll see why they’ve earned not just my loyalty, but my highest five star ⭐️ review and recommendation.Upper Crust Pizza and Mohammed thank you for being a shining example of what it means to serve with love and excellence. Here’s to many more years of success and delicious pizza ?“
“RB Grill was at Suhoor Night at ISB (Islamic Society of Baltimore) and I looked over and saw the brother working the steaks on the grill. I took a peek at the Ribs that were the size of 1/2 my forearm and said yeah...we're grabbing that. Yooooooo!!!! The BBQ Short Rib was ????!!!! Juicy, Tender and the BBQ sauce had to be made by hand. It was out of this world. I'm not a fan of Beef at all because it doesn't agree with my stomach but shoot...it is worth the suffering! If you see this food truck. Go!!!Dietary restrictions: Halal Meat“
“I am genuinely very wary of food trucks/carts. (I'm going to generalize a lot here but...) They are usually overpriced, portion sizes are never up to par and it can be a stomach storm waiting to happen. That being said, after a long night waiting in the ER, I was in an adventurous mood. So I tried Yomna's Halal cart and was blown away! Where do I even start? The price! The flavors! The portion size! I was wrong about it all! For about $10 I got a drink and a meal. I almost felt like I was stealing! The Chicken over Rice is a culinary delight of flavors! The perfectly seasoned grilled chicken, thinly sliced over a generous bed of aromatic rice, smothered in that magical, white, tangy, creamy sauce and topped with a flavorful (not too spicy) hot sauce providing a satisfying kick of heat! All on top of a bed of lettuce, that was still fresh and crunchy. It might be one of the best things I've had in Baltimore. This is a must-try! If you're into food cart and if you aren't and best of all, no toilet roulette!“
“COULDN’T ? EATING IT!My order was for the Nashville hot ? ? combo with ? ? and a 1/2 & 1/2 order of loaded ?. Here’s my breakdown of the 3 items.?: 4.2 of 5.0 * Bun and slaw were very tasty. Sandwich lacked the seasoned hot oil you see with a traditional NHCS. The crisp on the batter was on the lighter side. The chicken breast itself lacked a sort of signature spice that would let you know that’s it’s not plain chicken.? ?: 4.7 of 5.0 * Onions tasted fresh, had a light batter and had good flavor. If I’d been able to eat them there they likely would’ve been higher.?: 4.9 of 5.0. If you come with the expectation that the fries will have any crispness to them like I did you’ll be disappointed. BUT if you let that part go you’ll have a really good experience. I’m sitting here regretting AND NOT regretting how much of those fries I ate. There’s a little sweet, a little savory, a subtle spice then that smooth potato flavor. ???The store is bright, open and inviting. There are some drinks in there that I haven’t seen before but look interesting. The staff was courteous and friendly which is RARE in this zip code. The group that came in after me were greeted like old friends and I feel like that’s a consistent theme with the level of service that I received.I’m 100% coming back here. I’m 100% getting these fries again. The people behind me ordered ? ? ? and it sounded like that wasn’t their first time trying them here. I think I may also try the ?.Nice work and thank you Hauk ?Parking: Decent amount of spots as long as this place and the smoothie place aren’t crowded.“
“The food here is sooooo good!!! It tastes like your mom’s cooking! The naan was homemade, and the lamb we had was superrrr tender!! And the staff are very sweet!! Also it is so cheap for the portions you get compared to other places around here. I definitely recommend the lamb qorma!!“
“Ordered the lamb and shrimp over rice today. My first time ordering from here. It was sooooo DELICIOUS!!! Will be my go to spot now for those platters. Can’t wait to try the other items now!! Very sweet employees. My half and half was good too!!“
