I don't think anyone can beat this price with the quality of chirashi here. What a surprise... that I could trust Yelp reviews once again :)”

“I visited this evening at the suggestion of my neighbors. They told me to get a glass of wine and a pizza.I arrived and was promptly seated. The place is a bit small on the inside, but has a great vibe for a relaxing evening. The atmosphere is definitely like an American pizza joint, not a fine dining establishment.I didn't get a drink, but I got a pizza. It came out in less than 10 minutes and was delicious. The crust was crispy, the cheese was melted well, and the toppings were not soggy.It was a great pizza, and I can't wait to come back!”

They are corn bread chicken and waffles, with a sweet and spicy sauce.But that’s not all, their salads are amazing also. Great ambiance, and amicable staff.”

“We love Oyster Mania Mondays at Pearl Dive! We make it a regular date night outing to indulge in dozens of half-priced, delicious, fresh, and cold oysters sourced from various locations. Additionally, I always order the incredibly tasty mussels served with toasted baguette slices to soak up all that delicious sauce. The staff consistently delivers friendly and attentive service too, which makes each visit enjoyable.”

We got the tasting menu to try a bunch of dishes and overall thought the food was still similar to Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern food I’ve had before but with a unique twist on the vegetable dishes.My favorites were the cauliflower hash (reminded me a lot of Gujarati shaak that I ate growing up) and the halloumi + muhmmara dips. Unfortunately, I thought all the cocktails were very mid, so I wouldn’t recommend drinks there unless it’s something you already know.”

“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!”

“Possibly the best food I’ve ever had in the DMV meets incredible service. They didn’t have the dessert we wanted, so they comped us the one we chose instead. Also, as someone who is sensitive to gluten, dairy, corn, and peanuts, eating out is often extremely tricky and limited, but I was able to choose from maybe 70% of their menu, which is super impressive. Great spot if you have dietary restrictions and want a lot of options.Just a note, you definitely want a reservation. “I had Ethiopian cuisine on my bucket list for real long time, but since I couldn't find much time to visit any Ethiopian restaurant in New York city, I decided to go ahead with the one in Washington DC!Initially, I was a bit hesitant to order the meat dishes since my last adventure with African cuisine wasn't a great one. Glad that Ethiopians have a good amount of vegetables in their diet which helped me make a safe and easy choice to go with!I went ahead with their traditional veggie platter, which consisted of 2 vegetables, 2 lentil dishes and a salad served over Injera( basically the Ethiopian version of dosa: An Indian dish and a much softer one instead of crispy). The vegetables served were cluster beans along with cabbage and potato. The cluster beans felt right out of my home kitchen whereas the potato was undercooked in the cabbage one! The two lentil dishes served out of which one was the spicy one and the other not spicy. I loved both of them. Honestly, I never thought it would be so close to traditional Indian cuisine as a result I also let the server know the same.The server was pretty friendly and was happy to guide me through their menu while providing quick service. The restaurant though feels like a homely vibe with close seating and the ambiance being that of a family home.Overall, an amazing experience for me with interesting thing being it felt like having a home cooked meal rather than eating at a restaurant!”

“Every dish we had here was delicious, starting with the guacamole. The medium spice had the perfect amount of spice and it was super fresh. The camerones and trout dishes were my absolute favorites, seasoned to perfection. Even the veggies on the trout dish were amazing. I also enjoyed the brussel sprouts. We didn't mind it, but it can get kind of loud in there so if you're looking for a romantic vibe, this isn't it. It was perfect for a group of girlfriends wanting to celebrate a birthday and catch up. Oh also, if you like margaritas, the Oyamel margarita was awesome!”

“Everything at Menya is completely mind-blowing and it's the best ramen I've had outside of Japan. It's a little hard to visit here especially with their hours but every time I can make the trip over to DC I always make an effort to come here. Their food stays consistent and service is incredible. It's amazing to watch how in synch the entire team is and they have an open kitchen where you can watch the staff make the endless bowls of ramen! The karaage is a MUST-TRY it's so incredibly crispy on the outside but perfectly juicy on the inside. It's also paired with a yuzu dipping sauce and it brings the chicken to a whole other level, 10/10. My favorite ramen is the Spicy Tonkotsu because it includes a house made chili spice that really brings a nice kick to their traditional Tonkotsu broth. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu because each type of ramen is so incredible in its depth of flavor.”

“Sami's hot dogs is a must when visiting DC. Hot dog had onions,jalapenos,chili,ketchup and mustard. We got the spicy sausage which gave it an extra kick. Also it's located in a convenient location across from a little park with lots of sitting, and they do take card for payment. Sami was also super friendly. Will come here again when visiting DC”
