“I am truly a pick eater so anytime I'm able to do a full tasting menu with no worries about having eating restrictions I jump at the opportunity. Oyster Oyster has such a carefully crafted menu for vegans and vegetarians alike. The only element that is not vegan is the oyster they serve as one of the tasting elements. Other than that, it is truly a vegan person's heaven. So much fresh vegetables cooked in ways I literally could not have dreamed up. The Gnocchi mushroom dish served with the broccoli bread was my absolute favorite part of the menu. The bread was served with marigold butter that absolutely blew my mind. Do yourself a favor and also try the Non Alcoholic tasting menu to accompany your dish as it was such a great way to get more fresh juices and tonics to accompany the meal. I highly highly recommend this place to everyone and a round of applause to their excellent service as well.“

“This was a special Mothers Day theee course limited menu dinner. The options for each course were good. The food was excellent. And the service was not rushed. The fillets were very large and cooked as ordered. The cost was a little pricey but we all enjoyed the food and were pleased to not be rushed.“

“I'd come back for a slice. Located inside the Western Market on/near GW University. A little hard to find, yelp map doesn't match actual location (used google maps instead). Ordered a half margarita half pepperoni pie. Was hungry so ordered a slice of margarita pizza while we waited. The slice was awesome!!! The crust was crispy airy and delicious. Disappointed a little with the crust on the whole pie... it wasn't crispy at all... a little chewy. Tasted like two completely different pizza spots. Service was friendly. There was room for small or medium sized groups with seating in the back or out in the market place walk way. They had a large selection of drinks including beer/wine/etc.“

“I had an private event at Segreto. Eric and Joseph took such good care of us! The service exceeded all expectations. Joseph the owner helped me set up the decor, and was super involved in making sure we had a great experience. The food from Minya;s was amazing. We had meatlovers and white pizza, wings and salad every plate was clean. I would come back over and over again! If you are looking for a birthday venue use Segreto, 10/10 experience!“

“No lie this is some good pie.I was looking for a place to hang out as I wait for traffic to die down and I found Andy’s pizza. I sat at the bar and ordered a slice of carnivore, and a slice of sausage and pepper. They came out quick and hot. The crust is thin and slightly crispy. After I finished the main part of the pie, I added Mikes hot honey to the crust for a sweet and spicy finish. I will recommend Andy’s Pizza to anyone. My only regret is I didn’t take any pictures.“

The thin crust was delicious especially on the cheese pizza. The only negative thing I have too say is y’all charging too much for a house salad. I mean if you gonna charge $14 @ least give me something other than basic lettuce.“

“Stayed at a hotel nearby and found the Hive Bar as we walked the neighborhood. We were looking for something fast and tasty and the pizza did not disappoint!! They were trying out a new menu (for the Super Bowl) so we snacked on popcorn chicken and tatters as well. Tatters are a favorite!!“The” Old Fashioned cocktail was amazing!! Our bartender was an expert and made this delicious drink delicious every time!The bar is accessible, with a bar and tables on the first floor, and an elevator to the rooftop bar. The pizza/food is delivered from &Pizza which is attached to the hotel.Street parking was easy on the weekend.“

Food is consistently excellent, orders are always ready when expected, and folks that work there are very nice and engaging. It's a small gesture, but it makes a big difference, especially when I'm enjoying a meal with friends and family. “I'm a regular at Angelo's almost every Tuesday during the fall middle school and spring high school softball seasons. I stop there between the game I umpire and teaching religious education around the corner at St. Patrick's. I will say that the quality at Angelo's is outstanding. I usually do a combination cheeseburger sub or steak and cheese. They are excellent. Plus, the fries are real fries that come out of the deep frier nice and crispy. I often will treat my religious education class to pizzas from Angelo's and they always tell me it's good pizza. Finally, they have Little Gina's pizzels. They're an Italian cookie my Italian mom would make and they are exactly like she would cook them. So, if you want some great pizza or sub plus some really crispy fries, I highly recommend Angelo's. Maybe I'll see you there some Tuesday!“

“The food is creative and delicious. Our group enjoyed everything we tried. The service was disappointing, though. We waited a long time to see a menu and then to order food, although the server brought drink menus promptly and took those orders. One person ordered an appetizer that wasn't delivered. The mains showed up and it had been so long that we decided to let it ride and check the bill. We weren't billed for it, but that order got missed. Also, one person had a dietary restriction the server said the kitchen could handle, but the modified food delivered still wasn't something the person could eat. We solved it by eating family style, in part because ordering was so slow. This was my second time eating here and finding the server misspoke about ingredients on the menu. Better training could fix this. The space is pretty and tables are comfortable enough, but the music was loud and we could not easily converse. The guest with some hearing loss was reduced to just eating because she could not make out the talk over the volume. I want a fine restaurant in this neighborhood, so I hope for lower volume, quicker menu delivery and ordering, and staff becoming more familiar with dishes and knowing it is OK to say "let me find out" instead of giving an answer that turns out to be wrong.Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is not good at dietary restrictions because servers give wrong information when asked about them. If your restrictions are the life or death kind, do not risk relying on answers to questions here.“

“Little Cocos is a wonderful Italian spot in Petworth. It has an outdoor seating area that's tented (so shaded) and a fully stocked bar inside. We went on a Wednesday evening and had no trouble getting a table.We ordered the calamari, cacio e pepe, and bolognese. The calamari was cooked to PERFECTION. Crispy, tender, chefs kiss ?‍?.Cacio e pepe was also delicious, al dente pasta with extra cheese. It was super creamy.Bolognese had great flavor and sauce. However, the pasta was a little too al dente. We should've mentioned something because I'm sure they would've fixed it for us.The service is 10/10 here.“

I don't think the pizza was worth it as it reminded me of dry frozen pizza that I could've baked myself for a fraction of the cost. The lemon cake was delicious however! The owners were very sweet when I went to pick up my food and even gave me a small discount-- an even $20 instead of $21 and some change haha. I would come back to try their cheesesteaks, but would avoid the pizza in all honesty.“
