“Easily the best hotpot experience we've had in the area. They give large fresh portions of meat, the buffet has a large variety of meats, and veggies. The soup was perfect. My wife and I decided that whenever we want hotpot this is the place we're going from now on.“
“My first time at KPOT in Towson, MD, was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the inviting atmosphere and attentive service. The menu options were plentiful and diverse, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. And let's talk about the martinis – they were expertly crafted and absolutely delicious, the perfect accompaniment to my meal. One of the highlights of my experience was the small buffet option, which allowed me to sample a bit of everything. The food was fresh, flavorful, and constantly replenished, ensuring that I never went hungry. Plus, whenever I needed refills of food or drinks, the service was fast and efficient, making for a seamless dining experience.Overall, my experience at KPOT exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another culinary adventure. Whether you're a fan of Korean cuisine or just looking for a fantastic dining experience, I highly recommend checking out KPOT. You won't be disappointed!“
“I decided to come to hotpot with my girlfriend to celebrate Valentine's Day. They are super busy at night, so I waited for almost an hour to get seated. Totally worth waiting an hour. Everything comes out quickly and fresh. Servers are working hard, walking around to refill water and soup without me asking. My girlfriend and I had a great night.“
“Best hot pot I've ever been to. Forget the beef, get the lamb! Shrimp was sweet and tasty but scallops didn't taste fresh. Wide variety of tofu and mushrooms. Loved that they had appetizing watercress, tripe, these really wide sweet potato starch noodles. We got some kind of a spicy, a mushroom, and a 3rd non-spicy broth. All were well-seasoned. Edemame, egg rolls, and fried shrimp by the sauce-making station. Chrysanthemum jello was surprisingly palatable, like the tea, but gelatinous. Too bad I was too full to enjoy more than a spoonful. The server came by at least twice to give us ice water. We paid almost $40 each before tip, for lunch, on Sun. We got our monies worth.Vegetarian options: More than half options are vegan“
“We had the seafood boil with crab and mussels. Although the food was good overall, the crab meat didn't come out easily. It seems the crab was overcooked or something like that. In any case, I would come back for the hot pot next time.“
“When Asian Hot Pot and Kebob in Lutherville closed during Covid, my family was grief stricken and did not think we would be able to find another hot pot that could compare. New Generation fills that void of sadness with tasty broth, great service, super cool and friendly staff, and the best tasting large variety of meats and veggies compared to any other hot pot.“
“My local hot pot & bbq. Can't go wrong. It's always clean, including bathroom. Waiters are always nice & friendly. I haven't seen a fly, which is a major plus. Decent selection of food for hot pot. I just hate a communal rice warmer. I think it's disgusting IMO so I don't eat the rice there.“
“So I will start off by saying I had a very lovely, helpful service. But I do have mixed reviews about how I feel about this place.Things I liked:1) They had so many gluten-free broths. The mushroom broth was flavorful and fantastic. You did not need to add any sauces2) The staff was well educated and helpful through the whole process3) The food that was thawed was fantastic and tastyThings I was unsure about1) the set up was a little odd. The meat and seafood come proportioned. I liked this due to ease of grabbing, but some had too much, and I felt like I was wasting it. The trays were also too big for the portion of food that was in it, so it was awkward to carry back.2) Some of the seafood was frozen on the shelves. This should not have happened and was off putting3) The spoons to catch all your soup you need to grab yourself. I didn't see it at first, and it made it slightly challenging to eat.4) I asked the waitress if the oysters were safe to eat raw, and she said she did not know. I really do appreciate the honesty, but I thought it was odd to have oysters that can't be consumed raw when in the shell.Things I did not like:1) I went for lunch on Saturday. Yes, the food was good overall. The service was good, but most places do a lunch special, and they do not. For $31.99 a meal, I felt like this was kind of high for the selection that they had.2) I went for lunch, it was not crowded in the resturant (yes I know this sounds good) but I can't image how overcrowded their small food grabbing area must get when a lot of people are in the resturant.3) The parking lot was a little odd, and then getting into the restaurant, you went through what looked like a mall food court. It was different.Overall, I did have a good experience. Would I go back again, probably not due to cost and how the layout was. Do I think I got my moneys worth? Debatable.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options.“
