“Kristyana was absolutely amazing and has phenomenal customer service. She was kind, knowledgeable and adhered to all of our specific needs in a timely manner. I had friends visiting from out of town and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thanks so much for your kind spirit and positive energy! We will definitely be back!“
“Dined at the newly renovated Seven Reasons, now located on H Street after moving from 14th Street. The culinary experience was highlighted by the exquisite OCTOPUS & LENTILS ceviche, featuring Ají amarillo sauce, rocoto & banana purée, and avocado jalapeño purée. Another standout was the FISH OF THE DAY FILET, which showcased branzino with purple sweet potato, crispy quinoa, coconut leche de tigre foam, and red onion. The RICE FROM THE WOODS, prepared with bomba rice, crispy maitake, cilantro mojo, heart of palm & roasted squash purée, and crispy shallots, was a delightful fusion of flavors. The ambiance followed the current trend in D.C., resembling popular weekend restaurants with music and a DJ, similar to Shoto, Vera, Balos, and Kyojin. However, some aspects of the decor felt a bit inexpensive, reminiscent of the Rain Forest Cafe's faux stone wall with plants. Nevertheless, the chic tables, chairs, ceiling, and glowing marble provided an elegant contrast.Situated in one of D.C.'s trendiest locations, Seven Reasons on H Street lives up to its reputation. As a fan of the Seven Reasons Group, I found the overall dining experience to be exceptional. The MELTING CLOUD dessert, featuring lemon custard, streusel, cookie sorbet, coconut foam, limoncello marshmallow, and cotton candy, was a sweet conclusion to the meal. The service was outstanding, with a thoughtful touch as our host concealed a birthday candle inside the cloud for a friend, creating a memorable moment. While the CRISPY BANANA BOMB with Panipuri, banana tequila dulce de leche mousse, and spice chocolate ice cream wasn't to my liking due to the strong tequila flavor, the non-alcoholic mocktails, particularly the PASSION FRUIT LEMONADE and TAMARINDO LINDO, were delightful.“
“First time visiting the restaurant and I loved it. The flavor of the chicken is on point. Every side I tried was delicious. My favorites were the cassava fruit, sprouts and onion (curtido type) on top of the green salad. Oh, and they have 3 types of sauces that go excellent with everything.“
“Arepa Zone is an island of excellent food and phat servings at extremely affordable prices in the middle of the DC ocean, where skimping on serving size and charging 5x anywhere else does is always in vogue.Friendly people and great service. Because it's DC, I thought the prices meant the arepas would be real small. Nope! I got one each of the chicken and beef arepas and gained about three pounds. ¡Viva Venezuela, Viva Arepa Zone!“
“We were searching for something local to try because we were visiting from out of town. The young man who waited on us was really helpful when we had questions, and the food was fantastic. The friend plantains and the Peruvian chicken were both quite tasty. Strongly advised!“
“(Translated by Google) Excellent atmosphere, cordial treatment, Creole flavor. I am from South America, and although seasonings, colors and flavors differ, I go regularly because the food tastes good. Recommended.(Original)Excente ambiente, trato cordial, sabor criollo. Soy de Sudamérica, y si bien sazones, colores y sabores difieren, voy regularmente porque la comida tiene buen sabor. Recomendado.“
“We have done carry out or delivery five times now and find their food really good. The paella and chicken quesadillas are excellent and while prices are very reasonable portions are quite large. Soups are homemade, HUGE and superb, and all their dishes have somewhat unusual flavorings, reflecting the Guatemalan chef and owner. We haven't tried any of the breakfast items yet but bet they are good too. By the way, I wouldn't call this a breakfast and brunch restaurant, though breakfast is served all day.“
“A Capitol Hill staple. I have been coming here with my family for over twenty years. The decorating has changed but the food and service has remained consistent. Delicious and authentic Salvadoran food at a good price point. Great for families, hangouts, and happy hour with margaritas.“
“Excellent food! Presentation was top notch, as well.Music was a bit loud for my tastes. I also had to break out my Spanish to ask the waitress questions about the menu.Looks like they have a dance floor and dj booth, so maybe events on the weekends?“
“Flora Flora's Sunday brunch was all that a classy and elegant brunch should be! We arrived about 15 minutes early and were graciously received in the lobby, escorted to the 2nd floor restaurant, and promptly seated in the very comfortable bar area to wait. Our wait was VERY short -- and within minutes, we were seated at very nice tables overlooking the harbor. The view is amazing! The service was flawless (thanks Steven!). The menu choices were diverse and interesting, and each order was quickly delivered to our tables with no mistakes or "oops!" Most of our party of 9 opted for the Sangria Sin Fin, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the endless sangria and mimosas. The food was totally delicious and servings were "just right" (not too big, not too small). The restaurant is intimate, quiet, bright, airy, cheerful, and we highly appreciated the lack of LOUD MUSIC that seems to be the default standard in many eateries. The reservation process was painless, and Johvannie (sp?) provided immediate and personal feedback on a change to the number in our party. All in all, Flora Flora is a winner and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a chic & stylish brunch option with excellent service!“
“This one is the best one in the area! The seasoning is definitely different than the other locations. I will still go to Temple Hills & Fort Washington but the Hill Crest one is my favorite. We get the fajitas with chicken, steak and shrimp and it’s delicious. This one also gives 3 tortillas where Temple Hills only gives 2. So you’ll need extras either way because the platters are huge. Hands down best fajitas in the area. Better than going to Uncle Julio’s Restaurant. It’s not cheap though.“
“Hi everyone,It's been a while but I'm back. My family and I love this place. The food is very flavorful and the sides shocked me as they are as good as they look. I had only had yellow rice (arroz Amarillo.. hopefully I spelled that correctly). In Dominican Republic but this rice when smothered in sauteed onions is amazing. I'm about half way through trying everything on the menu and the only thing that wasn't what I expected was the rotisserie chicken. It wasn't bad just not as amazing as my favorite spot. Look out for its review if I haven't already. Oh and if you hablo español then you will surely appreciate this place.Vegetarian options: The veggies are seasoned very well. And I'm from the South if that matters.Parking: Shopping center provides ample parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheel chair accessible“
