“Best quality dining option in all of Stamp. As a commuter who has very limited meal options during the day, I've bounced around all of the food options in this student union. Chick-fil-A was my favorite for a while but then got fed up with all the greasiness. Then all of a sudden I find myself being best pals with the manager 'Angel' who is a literal angel blessing me with meals that just make my day better. All of the employees are friendly and prior to meeting the manager, my meals were plain and dry so I asked him if he could make me something good and he definitely came through. I go there pretty much every time I eat at Stamp now, so if your excuse is that you don't know what to get just ask Angel. Or just ask for the Angel special and they will get you right what he makes me. I've yet to get tired of this place because the food is so fresh unlike what can be argued for the other dining options there. Give it a try.“

“The food was excellent----2 -lamb plates and 1-shrimp plate. The lemon potatoes were different and delicious. The warm pita bread and humus was a great appetizer while we waited on our order. This was a great little place for lunch after a trip to College Park IKEA--very close. Only counters---no tables, but food is worth it.“

We got the tasting menu to try a bunch of dishes and overall thought the food was still similar to Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern food I’ve had before but with a unique twist on the vegetable dishes.My favorites were the cauliflower hash (reminded me a lot of Gujarati shaak that I ate growing up) and the halloumi + muhmmara dips. Unfortunately, I thought all the cocktails were very mid, so I wouldn’t recommend drinks there unless it’s something you already know.“

For a bit I had crossed it off my list as they had implemented one of those horrible scammy restaurant surcharges and I will not visit any restaurants that impose those. However a friend let me know they removed it, so back I went!! Hurrah! The food is delish but I have to admit I really love the creative cocktail variety even more. “Cute spot located very close to union station. Came in for dinner on a week night and the place was decently busy. The server was kind and attentive. For food, I had the lamb shawarma which was very tasty and actually the perfect amount of food, although the pita bread that came with was pretty dry. “this is one of my favorite spots in DC. the food is always impeccably fresh, simple and elegant dishes, delicious cocktails, reasonably priced for the area, and a beautiful, welcoming ambiance inside. we went for the tasting menu on valentine's day (cheapest tasting menu in DC, but you DEFINITELY can't tell) and felt like we were celebrities with how impeccable the service was. truly gold star treatment. they described each dish, paced the courses perfectly, and cleaned the crumbs off our table between courses. i always recommend this to anyone in Adams Morgan. love going here for a happy hour as well. i recommend getting a mojito! (at a Turkish restaurant?? yes, strangely enough, they're delicious)“

Falafel tastes really good, and I really like how they package up their sandwiches. I do wish the pita was warmed (it seemed cold), but everything else was great. The fries have a unique spice on them which gave it a flavor I never had (in a good way).“

The food came out in less than 20 minutes, and the portions are a good size. Just enough to fill you, but not so much you have leftovers. I had the salmon burger and fries, both were cooked perfectly - the fries were crisp and the salmon was juicy. Both were too lightly seasoned for me but still enjoyable. Friendly employees and OMG the first bite into this and I immediately thought that was FIRE, like really good at a good price. I got the combo platter (lamb & chicken over rice w/ white sauce & chili chutney) and both meats were very tender & yummy. “Halal Brothers is one of the best hidden gems in Silver Spring! I always get the delicious chicken over rice. The chicken is always ultra fresh and perfectly cooked, portions are large, the white sauce and spicy sauces are incredible, it's balanced with the perfect amount of rice and greens, the price is low cost, and the owners are very friendly and kind. Highly recommend to all!“
