“HOLY ****! Hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten.. I've never had dolmas or baba ganoush with that level of flavor. Anyone would enjoy the veggie sample platter. The spices used were not spicy, but packed full of flavor. I'd eat here everyday if I could. If you don't go here, you're truly missing out. Also LOVE the atmosphere, both inside and out. <3Vegetarian options: The falafel was some of the best I've had. Warm dark green center, with a crispy outside. The dolmas were incredible as well as the fatoufah salad.Kid-friendliness: Spacious seatingWheelchair accessibility: Easy ramps in and out of the building with spacious seating to accommodate any wheelchairs.“
“When I first came to Shah’s, I did not know if it would be better than the competition. After taking my first bite, I instantly knew, that shahs halal was the greatest things Allah has ever created. Easily the greatest chicken and lamb platter I have ever had in my life. The greatest.“
“Had a great experience the other night at th Ramadan Special Iftar Buffet hosted by Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant. The buffet began promptly at sundaown and there were just so many dishes to try! Highlighting the meal was the whole roasted lamb, and the Koshari. Delicious! The lamb was a tender slow-roasted perfection, where even the lamb belly was a melty collagen experience. Like a good pot-roast, but better and with lamb. The Koshari was something I had never tried and was a flavorful spicy mix of rice, macaroni eggplant and spices. I can imagine it to be a good comfort food. My wife raved about the Roasted Eggplant with Walnut and enjoyed the chicken soup, and fried tilapia. The Chocolate Baklava and Om Ali were a sweet ending to the meal. I like the rice pudding too! The Iftar Buffet is a good showcase try out many of their fine dishes. One of my co-workers told me he had an event catered from here as well. He had a whole roasted lamb that served his family and guests for a reasonable price. VIDEO:“
“The beautiful Instagram worthy pictures were taken inside the room that had the Iftar buffet. The indoor seating was very limited. You definitely have to make a reservation and have paid before coming to join the buffet. We were a party of four and paid about $175 for the buffet. The food was delicious and mouthwatering, but a little bit expensive for a buffet in a room if you ask me. The lamb & basmati rice was yummy. Seasoned perfectly & lamb was tender & mouthwatering. Rice pudding was tasty & sweet. Omg their stroganoff was delicious and to die for. Their salad was fresh & yummy. Really the whole iftar buffet was great. The service was OK, the young lady would help seat everyone. So make sure you reserve early and paid in advance and arrive early if attending the Iftar buffet.“
