Showed up on a Thursday night at 8:29pm. They close at 9pm. Whoever was working opened the window to inform us that they are closed due to “having to clean.” Would recommend going to any other location because it just sounds like laziness. We decided to go to Safeway to get ice cream there and when we walked out, we noticed all the workers had already left and it was only 8:45pm. Other cars were driving by trying to get Rita’s. Came tonight at 6:40 PM. They close at 8 PM. Open light was on. Lights were all on. No one was working. Waited 10 minutes, assuming they may be in the restroom. No one returned. I’ve had a series of bad experiences here. Go to one of the other locations in the area, as I had to tonight.

I haven't yet experienced bad service here, so this review is only on their ice cream. Is it expensive? yes. But is it good? Also yes! Personally don't think the custard itself is worth the price (very expensive for a mediocre custard, tiny portion), BUT! What you need to get here is a Large Mago Gelati (vanilla custard). It's ~$7 and portion is pretty generous. The combination of custard and gelati is NICE! It's a simple ice cream stand / obviously no seating area :)
