“I was recommended this place by a long time local restauranteur. The owners of this truck are HIGHLY respected cooks in the county, especially the Olney area. I was a little surprised by the menu but ordered one item from each "side." I got the cubano sub which is more like a steak and cheese than a Cuban, and the carne asada platter. The food was truly outstanding and that cubano sub really blew me away. It's a delicious, unique take on the traditional Cuban sandwich. The carne asada was wonderful and the portion sizes were huge. “Located in the Crown development. Easy parking in the public parking lot. We always share the Hanger Steak with Cauliflour Mash. It’s perfectly tender and delicious every time. “They have rebranded the restaurant as "Glenwood's". If you want to compare it to an existing chain, think Copper Canyon, as they are under the same corporate umbrella. This was my first visit here and I wasn't disappointed. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is on the subdued side, even though most of the window views are of Wootton Parkway. The food was very good. The jumbo lump crab cakes were filling and meaty. I enjoyed their cocktails as well; just the right mixture. Highly recommended!“

My husband and I both started with the seasonal soup -- a carrot ginger which felt a bit thin. He and my mom both had the blackened salmon -- she thought it was great and he thought it lacked some flavor. I had the smoked duck breast which was fine -- the side it came with was great. The restaurant wasn't full which meant we could hear well and the hostess became our server was nice -- though maybe a bit nervous. The bathrooms were clear though it felt a bit like a rest stop bathroom -- odd given their menu and prices.“

“My partner and I work occasionally at Imagination Stage. This place is perfectly situated just off the main part of busy downtown Bethesda. Very accessible, quick, clean service. I've been to plenty of places in the DMV which claim this "New York" aesthetic and this is the best I've been to so far. The staff is incredibly friendly and always attentive. My partner has made friends with the girl who works the register. I'm sure she does so much for the establishment and it makes the place a comfort to spend some time in. The 120 min was 17% alcohol and tasted like hard liquor more than beer and couldn't finish it. Of course, the rest of the flight was great.I got the Jambalaya and the cajun egg rolls. “I recently went to Scratch Kitchen & Bistro in Olney MD. I got some macaroons, a steak, egg, and cheese gluten-free sandwich, and some fresh squeezed orange juice. The sandwich was amazing, even when I brought it home over half an hour later. The steak was thin cut and extremely good, totally cooked right. The farm-fresh eggs were some of the best I've had (which is saying something), and the cheddar cheese was both creamy and hardy, an excellent balance for cheddar. The macaroons were so good and well balanced between sweetness and savory. They were also perfectly fluffed. Fresh squeezed and nothing added, the orange juice was a little pulpy but beyond amazing. It tasted better than blood orange juice I've made at home. definitely the best orange juice I've ever had. Seriously, this place was super epic, and the atmosphere was really nice too. It's a small, cozy little shop that's perfect for a Sunday brunch with grandma and the kids. If it weren't for the fact I lived so far away from it, I would eat there every week, probably more. “My newest obsession! Dig is a new spot in Bethesda with healthy home-style concept. The employees are amicable and welcoming. It was my first time at Dig, but the employees were helpful and patient. The food was displayed like cava or chipotle; you get to pick as you go down the line. I order half of the greens, brown rice, charred broccoli, cucumber and tomato salad, and charred chicken. They have a variety of sauces, but I ended up getting the pesto and garlic aioli. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy. The broccoli was pretty good; it had a nice texture and lemon flavor. Overall, the food was super yummy, and the portions were perfect. My coworkers got the salmon and the crispy chicken with different sides. I will definitely be trying the other sides when I go back! We all enjoyed our meals, and this will be our new lunch spot! A great healthy option with a home-style feel!“

“I’ve been seeing this restaurant for years and we finally tried it recently. We really were missing out!! Every single item of food that we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and they were so kind and patient with our toddler. They have a great coloring sheet option for kids with crayons and she was distracted for big chunk of time, which was great for us. I really do love it when a restaurant thinks about their younger customers. Really appreciated that. The atmosphere is great and felt very cozy and welcoming.
