“Custom , deluxe, first class ice cream.(Only reason for 4 star instead of 5 is due to the line out the door on certain warm weather days when bunches of van falls of people arrive. If the line is out the door, it is a too long wait for toddlers.)“

“My husband and I have a small addiction! This past week we have had to have a snowball every night! The snowballs are always perfect. Lots of syrup, so every bite is sweet and juicy. Marshmallow on point! We can tell the owner works hard to keep the quality at a high level. I agree with another review, when the owner isnt there, customer service isn't as friendly. However, that won't stop us from returning.“

“The Rita’s associate in Joppatowne today was very courteous. They have Great flavors. I got the Swedish fish with custard? it was my first experience in the Joppa location and because of the service there and pleasant smiles we got when me and my 10 yr old decided to visit they have now gained a customer for life. “I came here the other day. I have seen and been to other chains in NY and felt I needed to give it a whirl. You can come up to the take out window on foot and they have plenty of options. I wanted the concrete (like a blizzard from diary queen). It was pretty good! I usually love Italian ices but I don't enjoy the ones with fruit in them. So if you don't like the fruit in your ice, this is not the place for you. Also the pup cup is $2, if you were curious.“

“It is somewhat of a tradition now to get ice cream here once a week. They have the best soft-serve I have ever had, with the standard choices of chocolate, vanilla, or twist. They also have hard Hershey’s ice cream if that is more your thing. The actual food is nothing special but I would say is above-average for a fast-food place.The building itself is very very small and there is no inside seating, so the place almost acts like a food stand. This can be annoying in colder months, especially because the line does not have to get very long to stretch out the door. However, this just comes with the type of establishment it is and is absolutely not a knock on the place. The atmosphere feels very old-timey in a good way. The cashiers are always nice and accommodating.I highly recommend you visit this place if in the area if you’re a soft-serve ice cream fan, as that is their specialty, but it’s not a bad place to stop for a burger and fries either.“
