“i was hesitant bc it's hard to find a place that makes beef & broccoli the way i enjoy it. just gotta say... pleasantly surprised! i no longer have to go to columbia near route 1 for my favorite beef & broccoli anymore when i can get the same flavor and possibly even better quality right around the corner! the portions were supposed to be small... but they were GIGANTIC!!! Moms looked like she didn't even eat anything! she said she used to eat there all the time when she worked so she was happy to find it again... and that the quality was still on par! my beef was tender and flavorful and the broccoli was nice and squishy with a bit of firm crunch. soaked up all that flavor in the florets... just delicious! China taste indeed, thank you!”

“I walked in because my phone glitched and I was picking up a large order for a group at my house. I was immediately greeted by three people at the front counter who were extremely busy (and still took the time to smile and acknowledge me). Those team members knew what order I was talking about immediately and a woman who was helping specifically ensured I got all of my food and was patient and smiling. At the end of me getting everything, I heard her tell everyone she was leaving for the night..meaning she stayed past her clock out time to ensure my order was completed (also unknowingly ensuring no meltdowns from my children). When I asked for her name, she told me it was Deena (sp?). Everyone that was working tonight was absolutely awesome, especially her!”

Being a pure vegetarian, there are many vegetarian options and there's no compromise on the quality. We generally order a vegetarian thali alongside kuttu parotha and a vegetarian appetizer.

Among all the delicacies that I've tried at Sangam, I've loved the Kadai paneer biryani, paneer pepper fry, chilli baby corn, south indian thali, kuttu parotta, malai kofta, navaratan korma to name a few. But the appetizers are really crunchy and tasty.”

I can wholeheartedly say, the food is consistently a 7-8.5/10 for me. But there is definitely potential for greatness cause one time I came in and had some 10/10 spicy stir fried pork, and it was phenomenal. I have no credibility as a food critic, I just like to eat good food. On a side note when it comes to atmosphere, I really like the music here. There are some Korean hip-hop and American rnb vibes. Overall, I’m a fan of this business and I hope this review entices you to give it a try!”

“This place is a cozy gem. Good prices, service and less crowded than akira. Felt more private. To talk about the food..I had the Beef ramen with veggie broth and really enjoyed it. Also the lamb and chicken kabobs were SUPER well seasoned, juicy and fresh. We never wait too long for service or even to be served. The staff is pretty nice, havent ever had an issue with them; during peak hours they do tend to get a bit visibly stressed out but its understandable since its a small buisness . I'll add food pictures the next time I come by. The decorations give the resturant a cute/ welcoming charm..it has colored lights on the ceiling along with funko pops around.

“Update: I went in this morning to speak with a manager and while the manager was busy, the young man at the register, David was able to address the situation. He apologized and made me the smoothie I'd ordered from last night. I appreciated the professionalism and this time my wait was less than 10 minutes. Since this was the first time at this location and they were accommodating to undo the mistake, my husband and I WILL be back again as we love smoothie king!

This location is short staffed and if you order online they just mark you order complete but never make the order. I placed an order through the app and my husband went to pick it up on his way home. There was only 1 lady working.
My husband got there at 9pm, but I ordered through the app as I wanted specific substitues that I didnt want him to inadvertantly mess up. I placed the order at 901pm and at 919pm (while my husband was waiting) the order was marked completed. After 20 minutes my husband asked when my order would come up and the lady said she never recieved the order. She told him we could just cancel the order and place it with her in person, but the app wasnt offering that option as it was already marked completed. On top of that she wasn't willing to simply make the order since it was an error on their end. This was our first time at this location and we were excited about there being a smoothie king closer to our home but we will not be returning!! Between waiting for the order, the lady looking through the system and my husband showing the lady my online receipt several times, he spent almost 40 MINUTES IN A SMOOTHIE CARRYOUT!! Essentially smoothie king stole $11.64 from me with no apology or solutions offered and wasted 40 minutes of our time!!!”

“One of the two vegetarian restaurants in Howard County and I am a very frequent visitor. I like the Punjabi Thali, the parathas, noodles with Manchurian (I believe it is their specialty, never ever found this in an Indian restaurant with a Chinese section). Since the restaurant is located inside the deli store of a gas station, it might not be family friendly and hence we order takeout but there are 6-7 tables for a hostel/dorm like dine in option. No doubting of the quality of food. It's very delicious, very comforting and the recipes made upto specifications. Must try for vegetarians. If you are in luck, the chef packs a little extra quantity for Thalis.”
