“We were the only customers when we went on a Tuesday about 7. But the owners were wonderful at helping us with their recommendations on the menu. We settled on a few sushi rolls and bulgogi with Tera beers all around. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The bulgogi was definitely a top cut of beef in a spectacular sauce. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. Please patronize this place.“
“If you want to run a meat restaurant, this is the place you should visit even if you study abroad. For dinner on the weekend, I ate brisket, raw ribs, seasoned ribs, raw meat, and grilled dumplings. It was an amazing experience that relieved all the stress I had been experiencing at the restaurant. I had no choice but to give it a very high score in all aspects, including the neat bottom dish, good quality and large amount of meat, friendly and prompt hospitality, and cleanliness. Especially when it comes to food, this is a great restaurant that captures both the visuals that young people like and the taste that older people like.In some ways, you may think there is nothing special, but I think finding a flawless home may be more difficult in the United States. If you look at the reason why there are no flaws, it is because the performance exceeds expectations in all aspects. Everything a meat restaurant should do, they already do it well here.“
“The kimchi kimbap was excellent and great portion size for the price. One thing I noticed between this place and the kimbap we have had around us in MoCo was that this place had a way better ratio of non rice to rice and was therefore, much more flavorful. We have also gotten the bibimbap as well and although we felt it was about on par with MoCo places, the price of $12 was much cheaper than the ~$16 we normally see.“
“The location itself is pretty easy to find.plenty of parking spaces.Management and the team are very awesome and welcoming! Food is amazing. The kimchi stew, grilled pork belly, and ramen noodle snacks ( what we call it ) is our favorite. Service is efficient as well! Clean and chills! They also have karaoke rooms!Love this place!“
“Don't let the outside appearance of this place discourage you from coming in. It is hidden from the main road so you won't be able to see it when driving. But you will never regret it. The food is delicious, and the inside atmosphere is nice and clean. Give it a try and see for yourself.I ordered the j4 beef vegetable, and I enjoyed it very much, especially on that cold day where you can still see traces of snow left from last night. My partner ordered the hotpot bibimbap, and she was a little disappointed about it being a little bit dry on the palette, but once she added a little soysouce, she said it was better. The bibimbap tasted yummy even without the soy sauce. It was just a little dry. I still recommend you check them out and try different things on their menu. They also offer shaved ice, which I will try when I come back. Maybe during summer.“
“I came here for the first time today (1 Apr 2024). The restaurant is well lit and very clean. The cashier was nice and explained the questions I had regarding the menu.I received my order in about 10 minutes after i sat down which I think is pretty quick. I ordered 1/2 chicken with curry flavor, curry snow onion tenders, curly fries, rice, and two milkshakes (reese’s and oreo). The chicken was hot, juicy, and tasted fresh. The curry flavor was really tasty, the curry has some spice to it but I wouldn’t mind if it was a bit spicier. The curly fries were good and taste seasoned. The portion sizes are big and you get your moneys worth; each entree came with pickled radish as well. The milkshakes weren’t too thick too drink and taste like what you’d expect. I did find bits of cookie and chocolate in the respective flavors so thats a plus.Overall I really enjoyed everything and I will be back to try more flavors.Parking: CM Chicken is in a shopping center. There is plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: CM Chicken is located in a shopping center. There is handicapped parking close to the restaurant and the tables can easily be configured to accommodate customers in wheelchairs.“
“The best thing we had here was the Combination Seafood Jhim. Very good variety of seafood and enormous portion. The leftovers were good for numerous meals afterwards. Great variety of banchan as well. The BBQ was very good and I enjoyed the different sauces they had, but I would say it was about on par with the Korean BBQ around where we live in MoCo. Same with the Japchae, although I will say the meat portion was noticeably better here. The only negative here was the service wasn't perfect. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday evening and the waitresses were working very hard. They mostly took care of us very well but there was an order of water that never came, as well as a refill of banchan that never came. This was not the end of the world as we had the complimentary tea and the other food was more than enough, but this at least will make me reconsider coming back during peak times.Overall, I would recommend this place and the Combination Seafood Jhim was worth the drive from MoCo.“
“We were searching for a late dinner place on a Friday night and saw this new Korean BBQ soft opening and decided to try it. We were so delighted with the food, the service and the kindness they showed us even though it was already late and almost closing time! Our waiter, Chris, was very kind and attentive to our table and continued to offer more Banchans whenever we would eat up any of those delicious side dishes. We ordered the combination which already included beef and pork cuts, so we got to taste both meats. One very unique and new for us in a Korean BBQ place is the green sauce. Whatever it is, it was delicious, a little spicy but very good. Chris also offered to bring us the traditional sesame oil sauce which is a must! He also offered more lettuce every time we would eat up the bunch. I really appreciate that they did not even rush us, even though it was very late. Definitely going to be one of my new favorite places for a family dinner! I do have one suggestion to the management: change the cut of the pork belly into thinner slices. Pork needs to be cook more well done than beef, especially pork belly. The thick slices take too long to cook on the inside. Anyways, we are definitely coming back here!“
“In my opinion, this is the best sushi in Maryland. Incredible quality, wonderful service, and a very laid-back setting. Every time I go to a different sushi restaurant, I always end up wishing i was here instead. All the staff are very nice and welcoming, and the service is always pretty quick. If you're just looking for great sushi without all the frills, this is the perfect place for you.“
“Came here because we were shopping at hmart and the soondubu place was closed! I've never had Korean Chinese before. Sizzling rice soup was very thick with cornstarch, veggies, seafood and poured into a giant hot stone pot. The squid was tasty-sweet and spicy. The waitress was super sweet, nice and attentive. We asked to take our leftover kimchi and she brought more for us to bring home!“
“My first time trying a Korean place in Maryland and I absolutely love it here. The waitress was so helpful and nice. There were about 9 or so side dishes that they had to offer (even if you didn't order the bbq). The short ribs were also flavorful and the Kimchi soup did not disappoint. Would definitely come back!“
“This is one of my go-to’s when it comes to chicken wings. The wings are crispy yet saucy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Definitely recommend getting the gangum style wings. Waiting for the food is a lil long, but the wait is worth it. The service is pretty good, but it’s typically only 1 or 2 servers that also double as the bar tenders so it can get somewhat hectic for them.Parking: Plenty of parking, also pretty big parking spots perfect for truck owners“
“I am a regular customer here, but I am very honest and give honest reviews. The food here is good, and even excellent depending on what you order. They also have 3 karaoke rooms in which I usually do and eat my dinner ?The prices I think for the food are a bit steep, but if split between 2 or more people it is reasonable. You also get a lot of food and I usually have enough for a couple of meals. I think this is a wonderful place to go and have some drinks and food with friends!“
“Everything was super clean. They had a really large selection of items which where served buffet style with tons of side dishes all where great. Meats were brought out by the waiter.Service was fantastic and everything was great. Cant complain much about eating here definetly better than the rest in the area. I will be going back. The snow crab legs were really good and worth getting at no additional cost.Pricing $35 dollars for either hotpot or kbbq. $40 for both kbbq and hotpot but the entire table must get both if you choose both. $16.99 for lunch.“
“This place is located inside the food court of Lotte Plaza. One of the items I get most often is the gamjahtang. It is a hearty soup made with neck bones and potatoes I believe. This time I did carry out. It wasn't as good as I remembered but to be honest, it's been awhile and I forgot how I liked it. I usually eat it there and it comes out piping hot and then I add additional seasoning mixture of coarse salt and Korean pepper flakes. That was my mistake. Now I need to order again just to experience it as I remember liking it.“
“Really fun Korean gastropub. This place gets packed on the weekends and there is usually a wait. Service here was so quick and I went twice in 1 weekend. You stop in and add your name to the list if its packed. Expect to be seated in 30-60 minutes depending on the day. On the weekends, you have to order food vs only drinking. Prices are pretty reasonable for the drinks. My friends and I ordered the chicken gizzards, Korean chicken wings, galbi ribs and and tuna rice balls. I would highly recommend ordering the the gizzards, galbi and rice balls. They were all delicious. Especially the gizzards. Fried and seasoned perfectly. The wings were ok and I don't know if I would make my way out here for them. The location itself is right off the main road. When you enter seating can be really tight. There is K Pop blasting and servers running every where. Restaurant is clean and the servers are attentive. If you want a place that does not have very high noise level then Rainpia is not it. Also, when ordering be mindful of the spice level. Level 3 which is considered a hot already had me sweating. Overall, fun place to grab some drinks and get some snacks. They are open until 2 AM on the weekends.“
“This place is a hidden gem. Recently changed ownership and the food is just as delicious if not more. Everything is delicious. The galbi jjim is so good. Try the sweet and sour pork with the sauce on the side. There are only 2 ladies waiting tables so service may be slightly delayed but they are so delightful to be around.Everything looked so appetizing I ate and forgot to take pictures.Vegetarian options: Tofu soup and kimchi pancakes.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and booster seats“
“Been eating here many years. There are so many good Korean comfort foods here that it's a difficult decision every time. Love the japchae bap (great smoky flavor), kimchi jiggae ( a little bit if sliced ddeok added), mandoo ddeok guk, odaeng, etc, etc., so hard to choose. As for some of the other complaints i read here: I heard them very politely explaining the difference in two broths today, and they have always been friendly in all the interactions I have observed. Good portions, great flavors, quick service, served hot and fresh.“
“This place is such an institution, it probably doesn’t really need another review. However maybe this would be helpful for people who are not as interested in the double fried chicken as their dining mate is. My friend ordered the boneless chicken wings and was elated at the decadent, umami flavors, and what’s not to like with all that salt and fat? I ordered the crispy tofu bibimbob, the somewhat more healthful choice. The tofu was appropriately crispy, but not overly so, and happily not too salty. If anything, it maybe leaned towards the bland side. Plenty of rice, vegetables and sauce on the side, served in a warm stone bowl. it was a pretty cool sensory experience, but an underwhelming taste experience. I suppose that’s what you get for going to Bon Chon and ordering something other than double fried chicken. ? the service was very attentive and friendly.“
“Everyone in our group liked the food here. I had pork with squid and it was cooked well and tasty. Will definitely come again. Server was attentive. There is no "atmosphere" there except a quiet place to enjoy your food with family and friends.“
