“This is by far the best chicken and fish place in Baltimore. The fastest selling item is the macaroni and cheese. People are coming in and ordering just macaroni and cheese sometimes and they're ordering extra on the side with their meal. And the cabbage is to die for oh my god I don't know what he puts in the cabbage but it's great. If you're looking for a place to get some good soul food this is it!“
“I gave a 4 stars due to customer service. I went there on a Sunday and I guess there was no fresh food made that day. I visited from Atlanta and I wanted something close to home. I don't understand why ayamase stew only had about 3 little pieces of liver, an egg with one strong tiny gbomo i couldn't chew and lots of oil. I was disappointed at the stew and the meatless stew. The rice was a lot and soup was a full plate. I just didn't enjoy the food. The seafood okra soup was not fresh. I was just disappointed.“

“This is the only place I can get vegan egusi. However, it is very seldom they have it. It is a family owned and operated busines so do not expect stellar phone and in person order service. The food, vegan egusi, is absolutely delectable.Vegetarian options: Seldom. Must call ahead to know if they have certain dishes in vegetarian/vegan options.“

“This is the most amazing restaurant ever. Everyone is very friendly. The food is always consistently delicious. And that's great because most restaurants are not. My only gripe is that they are not open on Mondays, too. Lol. You always have a good portion of food. And the prices are reasonable. Once you try Mary's, this will be the last place you try. You can thank me later. ? ?“

“Cousinnnn! Auntie has made dinner, come join! I mean wow. This brings back the nostalgia of eating my favorite meal- fufu and light soup with goat with family at the table. I have been looking for an authentic Ghanaian restaurant in Baltimore for years and have finally found it. The service is amazing, the owners son is always accommodating and friendly when he answers the phone and always pleasantly greets me when I walk in. Although I'd love to be able to eat here, I'd probably need a wheel barrow to leave so account for this being a to go experience with you favorite pillow and blanket nearby for the nap you'll need. I've been here several times before writing this review because it really felt like I was going to pick up food from aunties house and forgot, WHOOPS. I always get the same thing but my husband has ventured to the Caribbean menu and has gotten oxtails the size of his palm, twice- going above and beyond is clearly they're M O. The goat is always so perfectly cooked, flavorful and more than enough to last the whole meal. They really add a new meaning to Baltimore eating for me and I'm so grateful! I always recommend calling to place your order to ensure it's available because stuff sells out due to its amazingness!“

“If you are in Baltimore and you've not eaten in Kuramo Restaurant, know that you are missing something. This is one of the best African restaurants where you can find quality African dishes. I enjoyed it, and I will come back for more.“

“Plaintains delicious , Goatmeat exquisite, chicken tender and Jollof Rice was phenomenal. I was greatly satisfied and food was packed so well that when it was delivered thru door dash it was still hot. I will be ordering from this restaurant again . Next time I will try the Egusi and pounded yam . I usually start with jollof rice as a tester when ordering African good . It's my personal measuring stick.“

“Wife and I wanted to check this out for a while. We enjoyed the food and spices. And will return to try another dish.It is pricey. And only reason I rated the food 4/5 was because the meat was still on the bone. I’d understand if the meat was stand alone on the plate however the ayamase is like a soup. Therefore be careful with that.Parking: It is a small parking lot“
“Best Kenyan Nyama Choma (Grilled Meat) on the east coast hands down. So we all love a good hole in the wall eatery and thats definitely the vibe here. Covid killed the traffic into this place but that's fine cuz there's less of a wait. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!! Simple menu but sooo good. The ambiance is lacking but my eyes were closed as I capture the flavour of the food in every bite so it didn't matter. I meet the owner and he was so nice, inviting and extremely accommodating. Take away is also always an option. If your contemplating getting food from here just stop reading reviews and place your order now, then thank me later. This man knows his craft. Things to remember: at the moment its cash only and since your getting real authentic african style grilled meat there will be a wait but it will be worth every second. Your Welcome.“

“When a Yoruba Lyft driver told me about a Yoruba restaurant on Bel Air Road, I looked it up immediately. Stopped for lunch on the way to town today. Parking out front, in the back and on the side street. Plenty of seating inside, with takeaway options. The generous serving of amala (yam flour) was a smooth light brown. The goat meat was fall off the bone perfection. The gbegiri (beans) and ewedu (a dark green leaf) soup was just like 'home'. The eba (gari/cassava) was also well prepared. The egusi soup was full of the ground melon seed and the vegetable was a vibrant, fresh green. Enjoyed chatting with the owner and family. A most satisfying lunch.“
