“The menu made it hard for us to choose. It had all of my favorites. The food was absolutely delicious. It was so flavorful and served hot. The portions were plentiful, we had to take food home. And believe me it was just as good if not better the next day. We did not have dessert, but we will on our next visit. My drink was so good that I would have loved to take one to go. The service rivals any fine dining restaurant. The hostess was warm and welcoming. Our flight attendant, Andy, was the best. She has a wonderful personality. It was our first time there and she was very knowledgeable and patient. All of the staff were pleasant and efficient. They kept our table tidy, our water glasses full, and made sure we were good. The manager even stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. I could go on and on about our dining experience at Konoko, but the bottom line is it is now one of our favorite restaurants.“
“First timer! Easy reservation process. Wasn't crowded at all. The crab egg rolls were very good. As well as the wings. I didn't order any drinks. I did, however, order the gumbo. To me, it was too salty and not enough rice. The entrée was plentiful. I had enough to take home. Super friendly staff that served my table. Food came out extremely fast. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. Parking can be sketchy but the restaurant was worth it. I'd go back to try another entrée and get some drinks.“
“Geneva made us feel like the most important part of the experience at Judy’s Island Grill. Snapper was at market price but affordable and worth it. Also had the oxtail burrito which was flavorful and filling. Cabbage was delicious. David was hospitable and made boozy rum punches. The Mango margarita was too sweet for my preference. We came on a Thursday around lunch time and service was quick!“

“It was my first time having Haitian food, came in early Saturday, was instantly greeted by staff, we had some questions about the different options on the menu and was provided great recommendations. During the wait time staff got a little busy. However staff still remained to acknowledge us and still provided great customer service. Now the food is absolutely amazing! Flavor, presentation, portion sizes huge! Definitely will be going back. Thank you!“

Idk bout the reviews but it's a mom pop and son biz, if you were running a restaurant and everyone's multitasking you'd want grace, so give them grace, bc if it was you you'd understand. The mom is the cook, cleaner and all Around great person, she don't say much, but I feel the love, and why yall need to talk to her anyway she working. Bc I saw a few reviews talking about her cut it out. The food is authentic, energy authentic, everything authentic. The portions are crazy for carry out and even larger for dine in. I LOVE IT. Welcome to the area. . My 3rd time and I haven't been disappointed. If you got an issue they are quick to remedy it. It's all made with love. So be gentle“
“Excellent food! I’m real picky when it comes to Jamaican food so it means a lot when I say the food is delicious—well seasoned, good portion. In this picture, this is 1/2 my take out plate. I got the oxtail with rice n peas and ordered a side of plantain. Hubby got brown stew chicken and we ordered the ginger pineapple drink and sorrel. I was pleasantly surprised that the ginger pineapple drink is fresh. You can taste the real ginger and pineapple and you can taste the ginger and sorrel in the sorrel as well. Whenever we’re in the area, this is our spot.Vegetarian options: If you’re a vegetarian then the escovitch dish is a good option for you“
“My friends and I came in after the club let out, which was a plus because every other seafood spot was already closed. The atmosphere was great and the service was even better. The food tasted good but it wasn’t as hot as desired. All in all, the experience was nice. I’d go again.“
“First time ordering from here JIST 4-5 hours ago. I saw sooo many good reviews I had to try it. I ordered (delivery) their jerk chicken panini, and jerk chicken Rasta pasta. MAN… the pasta is sooo good!! The panini was also delicious, even though the panini pressed grilled bread had steamed inside its wrapper and lost its crispiness.. it was great. Wasn’t soggy just had lost its crunchiness where the grill marks are. I can’t wait to try their chicken pot pie and jerk chicken platter! I would’ve ordered those too.. but I don’t want to reheat anything and want to try it fresh. Will order those items next time! Thank you ❤️“

“I love me some good food!!! This is by far the best jerk chicken I had in the US. Omg the jerk chicken is really GOOD. And the rice and peas is delicious too 10/10. I’ve had only the jerk chicken so far and I’m really impressed. This is my second time ordering and even though it’s a 35 mins drive from Towson, I’ll definitely go back on a regular. The price and serving is right too.“
“I had the Jerk Pork lunch special. Lunch special was 8.48 with tax. The lunch special came with rice and steamed vegetables mostly cabbage and a can soda. Came in a round container packed tight with an ample amount of pork. The pork was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. This is now my go to for Jamaican period!!“
“First time eating there and I was greatly impressed and will be returning. I usually go to St Marys for my Jamaican fill but Hummingbird has taken their place for 2 reasons: Taste and Price. I had Currried Goat with Rice and Cabbage/Veggies. The only thing I hate is the location because its alot going on as far as car and people traffic which is the only reason for the 4 stars otherwise it'd be 5. The rent gotta be cheap and with the economy I understand the need to make it work where your at until better comes along or whatever the case may be with the locale situation. Many blessings to all and again the food was truly delicious, thank you for the service and I will be returning regularly. Oh forgot to mention the portions were also satisfying so that would be a 3rd reason. ?Update years later: I still go here and it's still is the best most flavorful jaimaican food to me. “Cousinnnn! Auntie has made dinner, come join! I mean wow. This brings back the nostalgia of eating my favorite meal- fufu and light soup with goat with family at the table. I have been looking for an authentic Ghanaian restaurant in Baltimore for years and have finally found it. The service is amazing, the owners son is always accommodating and friendly when he answers the phone and always pleasantly greets me when I walk in. Although I'd love to be able to eat here, I'd probably need a wheel barrow to leave so account for this being a to go experience with you favorite pillow and blanket nearby for the nap you'll need. I've been here several times before writing this review because it really felt like I was going to pick up food from aunties house and forgot, WHOOPS. I always get the same thing but my husband has ventured to the Caribbean menu and has gotten oxtails the size of his palm, twice- going above and beyond is clearly they're M O. The goat is always so perfectly cooked, flavorful and more than enough to last the whole meal. They really add a new meaning to Baltimore eating for me and I'm so grateful! I always recommend calling to place your order to ensure it's available because stuff sells out due to its amazingness!“
