“There was a rush of people all coming in at the same time and the hostess remained calm and got everybody seated in a reasonable amount of time without overwhelming her servers. Our waitress was very friendly and knew the dishes well, as we had one person who had dietary restrictions, and she was able to tell her what she could and could not eat. “As always, Enrique was very welcoming & helpful with advice. The starter of sliced potatoes with light cheese sauce was tasty. The fried whole red snapper was lovely & moist. Snapper has a lot of small bones, so be prepared to separate the flesh from the bones. The Peruvian dessert Mazamorra Morada was very different with its fruit marinated in cloves & purple corn syrup. A very very tasty & interesting dinner. The service was excellent. As always all the tables were clean-as-a-pin & laid out with colorful woven tablecloths from Peru.“
“Came for lunch. Our waitress was really nice but brought out food all at different times. Had crab dip, she-crab soup, shrimp and grits and crabcake platter, everything was delicious. Unfortunately almost every bite of crabcake had shell in it. Told waitress and she said "that's what I've been hearing", then told manager and you would think they would comp something at those prices but didn't offer. Tacos should have 3 per plate instead of 2. Still plan on coming back though as food was 9/10.“

“I came here last week to pick up some food for me and my mom so I don't have to cook all the time. I got the spinach and brie quiche, the Italian roasted vegetables, and the core slaw. Everything was so delicious and fresh! I would like to see more info on the food packaging such as ingredients and nutrients. Also, I tried to microwave the containers-- not a great idea! Lol. “Crabs really good. We never buy anything less than extra large.The rest of the items for sale in the refrigerator cases have all gone down hill. They don't make salads and soups the way they used to so we just get crabs. Thankfully I got the old shrimp mac salad recipe awhile ago from a friend who used to work there.“

The food (as always) was amazing, the service was great (and I had a party of 25), and the ambience was ideal (decorated festive for Christmas). This is why I gave the atmosphere only 2 stars. I don't like to frequent businesses which are not accessible to all. The oysters are always fresh & delicious, the oyster stew is a delicious seasonal treat & the Steamed Crabs have always meet or exceeded my expectations. The Iced Dock sandwiches are out of this world & so is the Shrimp Salad.... In over 3 yrs, I have never once been disappointed! Today, Kylie took my dinner order. Not only was she super nice, but she was extremely knowledgeable & answered all of my questions over the phone.When I came in to pick up my order, I was greeted with a smile. Charming, intimate atmosphere, with lower light and a quiet vibe great for relaxing with amazing food, sipping a good beverage (wine, saki and beer) and enjoying some down time. Have been going for a lot of years and think they are consistently elevating their game. Sushi is top quality with lots of choices, two of our favorites are the Monster Roll and Snow Maki. So many great dishes over the years and one of our new favorite is the Seafood Fried Rice. This version is different from every other version I've had, and much better! It seems more steamed and sticky compared to the usual hard and oily versions. I cannot get enough of this new favorite of ours. “We are from out of town, visiting friends. We had beautiful steaks but the kids were asking for surf&turf. We called Edge Crab House right when they open and placed a 5lbs snow crab clusters order for pick up. Ordering over the phone was super easy. We opted for garlic butter flavor and Cajun seasoning on the side. The order was hot and ready when we picked up, and was still hot after a 25 min. drive. Let me tell you: our grass fed organic steaks were beautiful, but the snow crab clusters were just delicious: juicy and meaty, and just perfect. But by far the star of the show was that Cajun sauce.. YUM!!! I could drink the Cajun seasoning by the bottle. So very good. We were very happy and satisfied with our order, and def will be back.“

“This place Rock(s) literally ?. I paid a little over $100 for me and my daughter including tip and unlike the other place I rated, it was well worth it! They have appetizers and desserts included with their buffet. They allow you to pick whatever you want off of their list and all of the food is pretty good, including their fried food which is rare for this kind of restaurant. They even have their own secret sauce for the fried shrimp that you see a lot of modern chefs use on their seafood platters. They give you a 90 minute or 2 hour limit but unless you're having a eating competition or a hole in your belly, it is more than enough time. Service was not too bad, it was kind of crowded the day we went but I left satisfied with my piece of cold chocolate cake. P.S. these types of restaurants charge your children by height so remember to pay, attention and ask questions so you won't be caught off guard!“

With a Bonefish and Red Lobster in our area, Steelfish offers fresher and tastier dishes.I ordered the seafood platter, which came with fired grouper, shrimp, and sea scallops. And if like grouper, I would suggest this dish along with fish and chips which is fried grouper, or the grouper sandwich.They got my order wrong and brought me the fish and chips. Our server came over and realized the kitchens' mistake and said they would make it right. Then, the general manager came over with the shrimp and scallops and put it all on the top of the fish and chips. So I had extra grouper (which is very good here) along with the shrimp and scallops, which I might add were cooked to perfection as well.Well done, Steelfish. I found out later that the general manager had only been there 5 weeks. I hope they keep him because he knows how to keep a customer happy.My one disappointment is that it doesn't know if it wants to be a sports establishment or a seafood restaurant.
