“This is just a temporary review until I get home and really have time to say what’s on my mind. The service was fantastic soon as me and my family walked in the door. We were Greeted with a big smile and positive attitude. We had a party of 20 people that was supposed to show up for dinner. Only a few of us showed up. I was sad that the rest of the family did not show up, once I ordered my sweet tea that changed my whole night. The tea was amazing nice and cold And sweet to perfection. Our waitress ( Sydni) Was fantastic. She really worked her tail off to serve my family. The hospitality Of this restaurant was fantastic. Our waitress made sure we had plenty of refills. I ordered the lemon pepper wings. They were fried to perfection. I ordered the pecan rub full rack of ribs which I would highly recommend my food was amazing. I’m ready to return again, but I have to control my weight lol. My wife ordered dessert Im not a big dessert person, but when I Taste that bourbon bread pudding OMG it was so delicious. I caught the Holy Ghost on my taste buds! I will definitely return and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. You will not be sorry the food was worth every penny. I spent out my pocket.“

I've been searching and waiting for this kind of place for years, FINALLY the search is OVER!! Dear God bless the cook!! I can eat a small animal, but the portions are sizable. Cooked pan fresh to table in plain view, no stale leftovers or warmed over stuff ..JUST GOp.s. it's 4 pieces of fish, I consumed the missing one not show in the photo. It's take out, but you can also sit for a bit in their small but cozy seating area offered with friendly welcoming smiles?“
“Came in specifically to get the Seafood Platter. Lord.. Lord.. Lord... I got mac & cheese and greens with it and by the time I got to my designation and opened it, it was still steaming hot!!! Everything was so good and seasoned that I was dancing in my seat!!!! The woman that took my order was the sweetest.“

“The hubby and I went yesterday. We're back today. First, the food is made fresh to order, so if you're in a rush don't go. We had 3 meat over rice. It was good. The gizzards were hot and seasoned well plus they reheat good. It's definitely a good spot to pick up and go.“

“Today was my 1st time ordering from this place and the food was excellent! I ordered two catfish dinners, smothered pork chop dinner, kids chicken tenders with fries, sides of potato salad, collard greens candied yams and cornbread. Every single item was perfect! The corn bread and candied yam was not overly sweetened like how other places are. The entrees were all cooked and made to perfection. I took a gamble on placing a large order and I don't regret it! The inside of the restaurant was clean and I was greeted right away. The staff was outstanding and lastly my large order was correct with nothing missing at all. “My work had the Truck come so everyone could order their own lunches. First off, the “truck guys” were amazing, they were friendly and informative on top of getting my food out quickly. Second, some coworkers felt the fried fish was a little heavy on the breading for their taste, but I loved the coleslaw and the Shrab mixture is very good.“

“The food is delicious and hot. Everything is fresh. My favorite platter is the braised short ribs with a double order of cabbage.The short ribs are always tender and fall off the bone. The gravy is really good too. The cabbage is tender also. It is sweet with a little heat.The staff have always been nice and customer service focused even when it is busy. Mr. Ray is always chatting up the customers in the front making sure we enjoy our time while in his establishment. Please try them out. You won't be disappointed.“
“Not an eat-in but service was friendly. They offer various hot meals...ribs, chicken, veggies, Chinese, etc. Their mac/cheese was tasty for carry out. Mixed veggies had a good flavor and just the right amount of crunch. My favorite is their fresh turkey club no toast.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables to choose from.“
