It was a rainy evening, so maybe the ambiance would be better on another evening. Either way, the Catfish special was spectacular. So delicate inside and just the right amount of spice. It came on a bed of perfect and fine-ground grits with sweet and spicy brussel sprouts to die for.
Came to Frederick to stroll the downtown and Carroll Creek with the pup. Hubby and I realized it was lunchtime and stopped here for a bite. We sat on the patio overlooking the creek and a parade of servers brought our pup treats, water, and lots of scritchy scratches! I had a world-class Bloody Mary and delicious shrimp and grits, hubby enjoyed his fish and chips.
