“A step up for Annapolis and West Street. Nice atmosphere - a bit more upscale than you would expect. Nice wine list by the glass and bottle. Reasonable.Menu is a bit limited but what they do offer they do well. Farm to table. Had the catfish -excellent. Chicken a bit dry but nice sauce. Presentation was best I have seen in annapolis. Nice app selection. Service was excellent! Great deserts. Will be back.“

“Delicious! Portion sizes are very generous. We ordered biscuits and wings appetizers, very good. Biscuits were enormous and the pepper jelly paired well with the butter. I got the sampler plate, easily enough for two people. The brisket, pulled pork and sausage were my favorite parts. My date ordered a burger, he devoured it. We also got Cajun fries, brussel sprouts, and cole slaw for sides. The cole slaw was bland and boring, do not recommend. The brussel sprouts were over cooked in my opinion, but the goat cheese on top was good. The cajun fries did not have a lot of seasoning, but they were delicious lol, can't go wrong with a crowd favorite. Over all good place to eat. Service was excellent, our server was very attentive.“

“Came here for a quick bite after kayaking on the Severn River. The Yelp reviews did not lie! Excellent crab cake sandwich and onion rings (thanks to yelpers for the tip!). The shop is way at the back of the shopping center, so can be a little tricky to navigate to. Totally worth it!“

“I hosted a board of directors meeting here and it was amazing. The second floor space was more than enough for our group of 25. The atmosphere was relaxing and food was delicious. We enjoyed getting to know the staff members and they did a great job taking care of us. If you are looking for a space to host a private event, I highly recommend.“

“Kudos to Carroll’s Creek for a superb wine dinner last evening. The food was so delicious, service was impeccable and was accompanied by great Argentinian wines. “We apparently came on a bar crawl night but we still got seated for dinner immediately. Our server, Brooke, was great. She gave us time to ask questions and read through the menu/drinks. We ordered a calamari appetizer, chicken Riesling and crab cake dinner. All was great and my husband said the crab cake was one of the best he ever ate. My chicken had a creamier sauce with mushrooms and bacon. Very tasty! For dessert we had the special Bailey's cheesecake. It was topped with a thick piece of chocolate (not my favorite) but the creamy center was delicious. It was extremely loud but beyond that the food was good!“

“It can get a little loud in the restaurant at times, but boisterous is better than deathly quiet for sure. Especially when the food is as good as it is here. We haven't had anything bad since we started coming over five years ago and the drinks are great too. Really solid rotating lineup of local draft beers and a great whiskey selection too. And if you don't want something alcoholic, you can ask the bartender to mix any of their juices and syrups with a soda (favorite combinations: Prickly Pear syrup + Lemon + Sprite. “Preserve is a great spot and they focus on local and responsible whenever possible !people who are vegetarian or vegan. They have an amazing salad called the harvest salad that u got and can do vegan and vegetarian on some dishes. “I'd been wanting to visit for some time and finally got around to it last weekend. They're in a great location and easy to spot. Walking in I was instantly captivated by the decor. The interior is beautiful. It wasn't too packed when I visit so we were seated instantly. My waitress was really nice and intended to us promptly. Started with the cheesesteak egg rolls and honestly I will be back just for those. They were so good. My drink was delicious. It's called Agave Baby. As for my entrée I got the lamb chops which came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. the Lamb chops were good, but I thought they could be juicier. My sister enjoyed her kids menu hamburger and fries. For a girls night date anniversary or anything intimate.“

“The coolest bar I've ever seen nestled in a real boat sitting on a big creek at the local marina. The bartenders, the live music, the great food truck...whats not to absolutely love? The food options are unique and served from a cute, super clean looking food truck right at the end of the bar. The local musicians coming to play are spot on perfect for the setting and vibe.“

“We went in with eight people and tried a little bit of everything. There was not a bad dish out of anything we tried. Everything was fresh and way above what you expect for bar food. Maryland half and half crab soup was awesome. The staff was super nice and willing to meet people's needs. I would definitely recommend this place and If I was here for longer, I would come back“

“Great place to go, just not on Cinco de Mayo.The four of us were looking forward to good food and a festive experience on Cinco de Mayo.Our drinks orders included a house margarita and a Mexican bulldog (frozen margarita with a small bottle of Corona suspended).Unfortunately drinks arrived in uninviting plastic cups, and it looked like the bulldog cup would tip over if the beer bottle was added. (The bulldog margarita should have been frozen, but it wasn’t.). We asked for a real glass for the bulldog and were told that only plastic was used today because the could not keep up on dishwashing. We reiterated that we needed a glass that would not tip over, but the server was adamant.Changed the bulldog for a pepsi, did not enjoy the margarita in the plastic cup.But the food was good, as usual.“

“I came in to order a personal pizza to go. I didnt have to wait to place an order and the young woman who took my order was very kind and courteous. Beautiful weather to sit outside for great tasting food, drink and atmosphere. Everything tops and consistent from our last visit to this as well. “Great historic restaurant in downtown Annapolis, in an amazing location right by the water. The menu has a good combo of seafood and non seafood options all reasonably priced. The food was delicious and the service was very good. The only caveat is that the restaurant closes earlier than what is posted based on demand of how crowded the streets are at the time, and because the restaurant is so old that there was a roach on our table. Otherwise the atmosphere inside is very cozy with a fireplace and bar making it perfect for date or group outings.
