“Written by a Peruvian who is often in LA, NYC, DC, MIA. Trust me, I (and many Peruvians) hunt excellent Peruvian food wherever we go. Our gastronomy is becoming world-renowned (yaay) and so some (!) are trying to cash in and provide sub-par/tasteless/bland stuff and try and sell it as “Peruvian” food. Well, Puerto 511 and Chef Jose are exceeding all expectations. First thing you notice after laying eyes on the beautifully plated dish is the freshest ingredients but then, BAM, the perfect combination of taste, spice and tenderness hits you. Delicious as it should be when made right. He serves traditional flavors in a gourmet-style. PrixeFixe dinner of 5 delicious courses which was completely perfect. Beginning with the super tender veal anticuchos (with the nice and spicy sauces), to the tuna en su causa (perfectly seasoned potatoes layered with the freshest tuna) and the sashimi in aji amarillo and ending with churros (made as they should be with a pumpkin-base dough) topped with a scoop of guanabana ice cream, strawberries and Dulce de Leche! Each dish had our beautiful and familiar Peruvian flavors, all exploding nicely in your mouth. Excelente!“

Everything that we got was good,We ended up spending like $80 because we just couldn't stop ordering stuff,We got our dinner, stuff for lunch the next day,It just looked and tasted so good ? And when we asked how long they had been there,Get this,They said 4 years,So for 4 years we been missing out,No more,This is our new spot????“
“A must if you're craving Peruvian chicken. It was my first time at the physical location - I've gotten delivery from here so many times, it's probably embarrassing but there's nothing I love more than peruvian chicken. The location is hard to get to by car - it's by the PowerPlant in inner harbor so parking is tricky. The store itself is huge - and the best part about going in person is their sauce station - when you get delivery they charge you per small container of their amazing aioli and green salsa - but not in person, they have lot of little containers and you can fill as many cups as you want for your salsa, and I'm a saucy girl. I got the half chicken (white and dark meat and their plantains and yucca. It was a dark cold day and there were a lot of people coming in and out, it's a popular spot for sure. The staff is fast and efficient, not the best at answering any questions you have but it's the place you come when you know exactly what you're getting.“
“Casual hole.in the wall restaurant offering really good authentic Peruvian roasted chicken. It's reasonable considering what all you get. They offer chicken by the quarter, half and or whole with a variety of sides. I really enjoy their chicken. I come here mainly for that. Sides are okay, however very generous portions.Only pay street parking is available. This is the only set back about coming here......the availability with street parking.“
“Searching for rotisserie chicken in Baltimore to add to a salad, stumbled upon this place. Let's just say the salad was quickly forgotten when I saw the food options here. The chicken was incredible, perfectly seasoned and tender. After smelling it my whole ride home, I couldn't wait another second to eat it and had a few pieces over the sink with my hands like a rat before I calmed down enough to put some on a plate and eat it. Plantains and rice were incredible, I want to try all the sides. The green sauce is good enough to drink.“
“This place has come along way worth every penny for the fresh food and for the hospitality I had some issues long ago I changed my review and it's almost like a 360 turn around covid did a number on us but I see this place putting in all the hart on the food and customer'“
“The best chicken in town!!! Seriously you have to try this place out! Their sides are typical but you get a lot for your money. Fried plantains are superb! Tres Leche cake slices are yummy! I absolutely rave about this place to my coworkers all the time“
“Was looking for a link to review, but this is only giving the option to recommend or not. Oh well. I guess I’d recommend this place based on the fact that they serve chicken outside of the scope of Baltimore’s “chicken box and fry” combo. The food, however, was over cooked and the chicken was salted more than I’d expect. Foods that I’ve tasted at this location: 1/4 chicken (too salty and not juicy like the other reviews have claimed) Fried plantain (black and burnt...overcooked) Cilantro rice ( best item so far) Beef empanadas (cooked way too long...overcooked) I’ve experienced food from other Peruvian restaurants, and I cannot say that Primo Chicken is at the top of my list. Sardis still is a winner over top of Primo Chicken.“
“Hubby and I tried Sardis for the first time today. The chicken was moist and tasty. The plantains, spinach, brussel sprouts with carrots and rice with black beans were all delicious! Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be returning!“
