The top back of the restaurant is the best, they play jazz music and there's a beautiful view of the river with the sun setting out the window. The sushi and apps we had were phenomenal and I will definitely be going back! Our server was very personable and I enjoyed her very much!“

“We booked a private room for our daughter's birthday. The service was excellent (very pleasant). The sushi and sashimi was so tasty. I enjoyed the red bean mochi. They brought an ice cream platter and sang happy birthday too. Also the clientele was very kind and wished our daughter Happy Birthday on the way out as well. Great experience!“

“This place has one heck of an atmosphere! Walls are decorated to make the place look as Japanese as possible. TV was on, playing a Japanese TV network. The restaurant had a visible food preparation area where the sushi chefs enthusiastically did their work. Restaurant did not pinch pennies on the waiters' and chefs' uniforms. The restaurant is on the corner of a row of several adjacent buildings and I liked their use of their window space. Once you open the door, the entrance is well-decorated, too. The podium the host stands behind is oddly situated, but they are making their best use of a small space, so no points taken off. The restroom was clean. I ordered escolar, toro, orata, and chicken katsu. All more than acceptable quality. I did not like the katsu sauce, but I think that's just a personal preference matter. They threw in some extra food- tuna in a circular configuration with some other elements I couldn't figure out- which I guess worked, since I'm here, writing this five-star review! Plates were high-quality, and designed to make the food more presentable.“

“Our favorite local sushi place. Rolls are cheap, but not TOO cheap - quality is good, and we've always enjoyed our meals. I prefer to take my wife for date night - this is six regular rolls, and on the boat without asking for a boat! We love Yama!“

“This spot's noodles were highly touted and rightfully so. These are among the best noodles I've had in my life.I've been three times and the noodles are consistently the highlight. On one occasion my proteins were dry which is why it's "only" four stars but it's looking like that was an isolated incident.The service was exceptional. The lady at the counter and her little girl were adorable together as they took my order. I don't know if it's a ploy to get a bigger tip out of me but it worked.I'd highly recommend visiting Kokoyami when you're in the Windsor Mill/ Catonsville area.“

“Can't comment on the sushi since I didn't order any. Service was okay and prices were reasonable. The only thing I could complain about was the same person that seated us, took our orders and was bartending. The service could have been a little bit better but it wasn't horrible. When I asked if the drinks on their menu were for rail drinks she seemed very confused. I asked her what vodka they carried that was above Smirnoff grade. When I walked over to the bar I found her taking a photo of a bottle of Absolute Vodka. I asked her to show me the vodkas. I wish she would have told me she wasn't an experienced bartender. I wasn't trying to make her job any harder.I will definitely go back.“

“Food:The sushi here is so good. It's some of the best I've had since moving to Baltimore. My favorite (so far) is the R (Roll) Lewis. The unagi and soft shell crab are also wonderful.Service:The server was attentive, never letting our water run out. “NUT ALLERGY ALERT. there were nuts in the salad dressing. I believe peanuts. I'm super allergic to that. I couldn't even enjoy my food. I got sick to the point i couldn't stomach anything. My mother said her food was really good. But I'm very upset that a restaurant would put nuts in a dressing that I've had millions times over and never had an issue at any other restaurant. It should be listed on the menu as peanut allergies are super common in American. They didn't charge me for the salad. But still. I couldn't eat my sushi“

“I got the deluxe poke bowl and it was so good! Great value, attention to detail and very high quality fresh ingredients- so happy they are in the airport. Grabbed a tea and an onigiri for my flight! If you are a sushi fan and in the Bwi airport stop by and grab a meal- it will not disappoint!!“

“I eat here so much I can't believe I'm just writing a review. Here's what I appreciate about Sushi Q...always consistent. The food is always prepared well. Everything tastes fresh and the service is always good. Their signature sushi rolls are amazingly creative and always good. My favorite of all of them is the Veterans Highway roll with real crabmeat. “My "small" lo mein was closer to a med/large. They filled a small, and it was so full they double packed it in another container. Hospitality was top-notch, so warm and inviting to my family. We orderd combo lo mein, cream cheese wonton, and sautéed carrots/brocc. Delicious!“

“Omi's is a cut above most Japanese and Chinese fusion restaurants. The food is easy to enjoy over and over.I had the Salmon and Steak Teppanyaki which was quite shocking as it was well seasoned and paired well with my lite lunch appetite. I had some yum yum sauce and eel sauce and didn't need to add anything because the meat was not dry. The fillet and stake was a well done dish.The food is great and service is super fast because I came there and in less than 7 mins me and about 5 other people plus some dashers were able to pick up food fresh as fast as we ordered it. Plus they didn't skimp on portions either because you got what you paid for, which is a hot, off the grill, and not a frozen or preheated or semi sweetened food.Only thing I didn't know, or like was that it was not as visible from the main road. Which is after the Little Caesars and next to the bowling lanes. Otherwise, I would have came here first instead of the Panda Express which was kinda off the beat. One more thing was that it was a okay experience because all the chairs were metal. “Have been coming here since the first week they opened. Love this place! I love their lunch! So quick and so delicious! I’m not a big drinker, but their liquor selection as well as the drink menu looks quite promising. Another major thing is their costumer service! “I like eating here and any of the other branches of Sushi Q because you always know what you're gonna get if you dine in: miso soup, sushi, and a small cheesecake dessert in a consistently clean/ minimalist space. It's not the fanciest sushi in the area, but sometimes I just want to eat a whole bunch of eel avocado roll and that's what I can get here fresh and affordable. I like to dabble here and there with some of their specialty rolls, but they do my favorite kind so well. Service is scientifically efficient and food can take a little while to prepare, but I'm not usually in a big rush. There's always a line out the door for online/mobile orders. When dining in, there's hardly ever a wait even though it can get crazy busy during dinner. They also have good lunch specials here. We will be back for more.“

“It's been a long time since I've been to Aloha Sushi in Baltimore, since before the pandemic. decided to try them for lunch and the experience was good! apparently the sushi roller, Rajesh, is back, after they changed management. “I finally found AMAZING sushi in the Baltimore area! I’ve returned 3 weeks in a row to Naru. Their salmon sashimi is the freshest I’ve had in the States, and their rolls are terrific. Naru Sushi is part of the BeSeTo food court, with 3 Chinese, Korean, and Japanese restaurants and a marketplace downstairs. The ambiance is casual and relaxed. I've only tried the Japanese place, but the food court is always packed, and all the food looks great!“

The inside of the restaurant is a bit too cold, but that’s my only gripe. If you carry out your food, my only piece of advice is to get it right away. “This place is amazing! If you are looking for delicious sushi, friendly, helpful service, this is where you should go. I got a New York Roll, which is filled with fresh salmon, tuna, and white fish, avocado, cucumbers and topped with caviar. I also got an eel roll that has huge pieces of eel in it. Not only does everything taste great, but it's also a great value. I like that they have ready to quick grab sushi in the case or I can custom order. That's why I keep going back!“

“Our daughter loves sushi and this is her absolute favorite sushi restaurant. We’ve been here a number of times and the staff is always amazing, as is the food. Today was my daughter’s 5th birthday and when we asked her where she wanted to go for dinner, she told us Mizu Sushi. I’m pretty sure she’d make us take her there every day for their Philly roll and miso soup if she could. Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. Just wonderful. “The best thing we had here was the Combination Seafood Jhim. Very good variety of seafood and enormous portion. The leftovers were good for numerous meals afterwards. Great variety of banchan as well. The BBQ was very good and I enjoyed the different sauces they had, but I would say it was about on par with the Korean BBQ around where we live in MoCo. Same with the Japchae, although I will say the meat portion was noticeably better here.The only negative here was the service wasn't perfect. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday evening and the waitresses were working very hard. They mostly took care of us very well but there was an order of water that never came, as well as a refill of banchan that never came. This was not the end of the world as we had the complimentary tea and the other food was more than enough, but this at least will make me reconsider coming back during peak times.Overall, I would recommend this place and the Combination Seafood Jhim was worth the drive from MoCo.“

The crab tots are a great appetizer and almost too good, as we ended up finishing that appetizer and struggling to finish our main courses. “Baltimore y’all are sleeping on this place and I don’t know why. I picked up an order at 6:30 and there was no one in the restaurant. Why?? This sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had. Their shrimp dumplings with homemade dipping sauce and fresh garlic were fantastic. The egg drop soup was peppery and smoky. Everything was phenomenal. I’ve tried the other sushi restaurants in the area and around Columbia and I like Katana more, they really impressed me. I also really liked their customer service and how pleasant they were.
