“Order takeout bogo wings which were okay, onion rings which contained a donut in the box, and chocolate cake that comes with ice cream and sauce. I had to argue with the person telling him that it came with it. He insisted that it didn't. I had to show him the menu so he could see. Not sure what's going on with this place but it used to be really good. I will not get food from this location again. My past two experience have been the same with takeout. I wish I could get my money back that was wasted.“

“We always enjoy dining at Madrones. Tonight was an exceptionally great evening, thanks to our server, Barry. He made great recommendations (fish tacos), kept every beverage filled and had all of us laughing with his wicked sense of humor. We will definitely try to request him for our next visit! “It was the review for me that caught my attention, that’s why it’s very important to rate restaurants on the customer service and the quality of food. Me and my daughter visited yesterday and the wings and fries were delicious, we also tried the Atlantis dog, which is the chili and cheese hotdog. I love the fact the our food was still hot especially our fries were boxed in a brown box container which I love because the fries were still hot and not soggy even when we got home our fries were still not soggy and I love that. You got to try the Old bay wings and Parmesan garlic wings. Thank You Kevin for your Hospitality as well asking us how we want our chicken to be cooked regular or crispy! “We took a chance to come back after not going for quite awhile. Previously we kept getting the same server and she was clearly not happy with her job. After years of being away we were very happy to see a younger group of servers that were helpful and energetic. Sadly the food was meh. We always used to go for the food and tried to ignore the service. The menu was good but it wasn't as good as usual. We went to brunch at noon so that could explain the quality of the food. Everything seemed dry. Even the sauce on the eggs Benedict was much too thick. I got Risotto and it was good but there was about a quarter cup of oil poured all over it and it became distracting to the dish. We went as a group of four and didn't order cocktails. The bill was about $70 and I find that reasonable but I just wish the food had been better overall. I loved the “new to us” bar area and perhaps we will come back to get some small plates and cocktails. Most likely we won't be back for brunch.“

“We celebrated my son’s 17th birthday here and it did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and attentive - multiple people stopped by to fill our water throughout the evening. The decor was really nice with a variety of textures (wood, brick, fabrics, metal). The food was amazeballs. My son and I had the filet and my husband had the duck. And, because it was a celebration, we got 3 different desserts . The chocolate cake was so good, I dropped my fork. We will definitely be back!“

“Yesterday my family was celebrating the 19th anniversary of the adoption of our three sons who are now in their mid-to-late 20's. Viktorija was our server, and she was phenomenal. She was very attentive, lots of fun and engaging, and made our afternoon really enjoyable for all of us. One of the best servers we've had - anywhere. None of us live in the area - it was half way for each of us, coming from PA and/or VA, so sadly we won't get to visit Viktorija more often. But we wanted to recognize her because she should be applauded for her excellent service.“

“Service is amazing! Food was great. I ordered the steak salad and it was delicious, although the steak required 20 chews to swallow. Despite that, it was tender and tasted good. Maybe just sinewy? I'm super picky. Overall a fantastic dining experience. Besides the creepy guy sneezing and snotting next to me at the bar. :). Their prime rib is $70 so I'm definitely trying that as a birthday treat in July.“

“Stopped in on my way through Frederick. Very nice atmosphere, very clean and inviting and the staff was great.Ordered the MD Cream of Crab soup and the Wicked pasta with shrimp. Both were excellent. “A Frederick gem, no doubt. Even before you walk in, the plants and things surrounding the place let you know you're in for a treat. Inside you're greeted by vintage everything... except the menu and people! We had the Chicken Club Tortilla Wrap and it was delicious- far better than wraps elsewhere with its fresh tasty ingredients. They serve coffee here too. Yummy latte served in real cups (not disposable) so you don't feel rushed and you do feel welcomed.Street parking and very close garage across the street. We'll be back! You should check it out.“

Crispy skin and melt in your mouth fish--perfectly cooked. Caesar salad had Parmesan "churros," a fun surprise. Cocktails were really good, and I had the chocolate egg dessert--milk chocolate egg with salted caramel center sitting on a nest of dark chocolate. Good times. Thanks for a fun and tasty dinner!“

What they do, they do with supreme excellence. Pricing is most fair considering the generosity of the serving sizes; definitely a place to share a plate and not to feel bad about it. The "West of Santa Fe" salad hits the sweet spot of what they are best at; Tex-Mex and California cuisine with an upscale feel. Good selection of craft beers too for happy hour or maybe an early dinner before a Frederick Keys game, as we have done many times in the past. Don't let the business park location and industrial feel fool you. Very obviously the restaurant is run by foodies. One note: sub-optimal place for a business lunch or for (say) senior citizens despite the great accessibility: its austere and thus, loud inside. One can come back here dozens of times and not be bored.“

“Another new local place. I've shopped at the Safeway four years now, even got carryout from Ledo's next door, but this was my first time trying Tom & Ray's. They had me at milkshakes... And all day breakfast sealed the deal. My wife had the French toast, I had a milkshake and corned beef hash with eggs, toast and potatoes. My sister had a milkyway coffee concoction and the two egg breakfast. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back.Parking: Strip mall. Two rows of spaces, in front of shops and opposite. Most traffic is carry out so spaces opposite are plentiful if you dine in.“

“My daughter and I had spent an afternoon in Frederick and wanted to try this place because I had heard of it before, so it was our first time being here and it was a very early dinner for us. I didn't realize how expensive dinner was the plate I was looking to order was $40 and I just couldn't justify that on that day because I had already spent so much money. The receptionist tried to make me go upstairs and then try to make me sit in some high chairs after I told her that I had a bad knee, so that was kind of annoying. But our waiter was a delight, and super friendly. While we were waiting for our dinner which was a salad and an order of poutine, a nice young man brought us over a sample of some soup. That soup was delicious! In fact everything we had was delicious including the French onion soup that I ordered. I had never had a french onion soup like that it was probably the best ever! We would definitely be back for lunch and a butterscotch creme brulee that I didn't get to order because I was stuffed and we had to run.“

“I've only been to JoJo's for their late moght offerings, but it is unmatched for that in the Frederick area. In particular, their chicken tenders, fried pickles, and truffle freas never disappoint. They have an often changing and always satisfying taplist of local craft brews. I come here about once a week.“

“I've been hearing great things about Hornets Nest Grille for awhile now. Several of my coworkers live up near the Damascus area, and always rave about this place. So, today I decided to give them a try, and see for myself. I ordered the grilled chicken cobb salad for lunch. It was nicely put together including all my favorites (ie: blue cheese crumbles, hard-boiled eggs, nice thick slices of avocado). I definitely want to explore the other options on the menu & look forward to visiting again in the near future.“

“The food is incredible. It is simple perfection. It’s not a place of luxury but that’s what makes it a great atmosphere. It's run by love from the sweetest family. All of the decor is plane related and shows lots of history, which makes so much sense because it’s right next to an airport. You see all different types of customers and that’s also really cool. The service is quick, you don’t have to look for your server when you need something because they are checking on you at appropriate times. We love this restaurant. The only bad thing I have to say about it is I wish it were closer to us.“

“This was a very good experience with well prepared and presented food. First course of lentil and chorizo soup had depth of flavor lots of chorizo. Main course of vegetarian jambalaya was well seasoned and the spicy tomatoe sauce on the grilled eggplant was particularly good. My dessert of dark chocolate cake was the equal of any fine dining I can recall. Highly recommend this place, it's great for our Frederick students to get this kind of experience. We were then greeted by Craig, who was very friendly and outgoing. Both he and Jessica took their time giving their menu recommendations on a very slammed Sunday evening. “We stopped in on our way to Richmond. Cute place in historic Fredrick. We stopped because the sign board outside had ice cream sandwiches on it! We had hamburger and beef hot dog. Hubby said that his burger was the best! I also has a key lime pie ice cream sandwich. DELICIOUS!“

The burgers are good, shrimp salad, salads, mac & cheese, and the macaroni salad almost brings tears to my eyes because it tastes just like the macaroni salad on garbage plates from home (IYKYK). The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. my wife wanted sushi amd we saw this place and decided to go and the sushi was good. The main dish we ordered took a little while to come out and I ordered Drunken Noodles with shrimp and chicken. My dish only had 3 shrimps which was very shocking so I mentioned and asked the server about it but they made it right and bought me out extra shrimp.“

“The “Showroom” Frederick is a perfect place to eat. We had a delicious breakfast with my mom and my son. The sugar-free coffee with cream was excellent! We loved the French Omelette with breakfast potatoes. Also, I appreciated that they have a special menu for children. The staff was nice and friendly.“
