“I recently visited My Kabul with family and some friends. Having been to most Afghan restaurants in the DMV and being Afghan myself I can say that the food was average. We ordered mantu and spinach for appetizers. Mantu has a good taste, but barely any yogurt sauce on them. The spinach lacked salt and not as flavorful as other restaurants.The kebabs were juicy, however lacking salt. The rice was good as well. Overall food needs improvement and salt please!!The service was great, our waiter was kind and hospitable. The atmosphere was very welcoming and homey. I enjoyed the dining table and chair setup as if we were at someone’s house.Overall, I wouldn’t drive out of my way to come here, but I might stop by if I’m in the area.“

“I love coming to this place! Their salads are really good and fresh. Their other entrees on the menu are really good too. I totally recommend! “This is my first time at the Laurel location and I was surprised by how clean it was. I was immediately greeted as I walked through the door. Maddyn helped at check out and provided great customer service. I recently became a vegetarian and I was able to get a delicious bowl that was full of flavor. I would recommend coming to this location, there is always somewhere to park and has a nice outside area for when it’s warm outside.“

“I walked into a clean friendly environment. I ordered food for the family and had a discussion with the owner. The staff was really friendly and nice as well. “This place quickly became one of our family's go to eateries when they first opened. I've had a different meal each time we've gone here and every dish was delicious. We have gone probably ten times so far. Atmosphere is great and even better now after the remodel. The service is sometimes slow, but the staff are always friendly and helpful. The drinks are a little pricey too. I just paid ten bucks for a shot of Jack Daniel's on Friday. Most other places that would be between 6-8 bucks. Highly recommended Acapulco though.“

“Finally got to try this place. And like many others' experiences, while this came first, I personally went to Nonna Angela's beforehand. They are related indeed! I have been told to have their pizza, especially if I am one that really enjoys NY style. Been there done that, and every place has not been quite a hit for me, but I will try anywhere once! I placed an order for my friends and I to order a Buffalo Chicken pizza, Margherita, and Chicken/Jalapenos/Pineapple pizza. I was to rank them, it's in reverse order. Overall, excellent toppings. But I expected more from the buffalo flavor. The foldable crust was a win -- it took me a minute to determine how much I liked it. It's a softer crust, but it wasn't bad! What REALLY stole the show for me was the garlic knots though... I'm SOOO glad my friend decided to get some! They had me feeling some guilt, but they were so so delicious. I'd come back, but next time I HAVE to try their Nutella knots. By the way, if you dine in, you can get beer and wine!“

“This was our first time eating at your place. You can’t even recognize the Old Clyde’s Restaurant and the open, bright design is a huge improvement. We got the halibut special tonight. The presentation was terrific and both of us were very impressed with how tasty everything was. Our server was professional and attentive. The one major disappointment was paying $6 for an assortment of rolls and the bread came out and they were all the same and honestly not very fresh. I would also suggest that you add a side salad as an option. We will definitely go back again.“

“Online ordering was easy and pick up was fast! First time ordering here, I ordered the 1/2 salad, soup and medium drink combo. The California Club salad was very good. Good amount of salad dressing. The portion was big too for only a 1/2 salad!The cream of crab was good, but disappointing. It was very thin consistency and pretty spicy. The crab meat was good.The drink with the combo states it is medium size, but this is rather small. The homemade coconut tea was good! Although Huntington Deli & Market is not located within a gas station, the ambiance and atmosphere inside gave off a similar vibe. It felt more like a casual eatery within a convenience store rather than a dedicated deli. This might not be a significant concern for some, but it did detract from the overall dining experience and the feeling of a traditional deli setting.Regarding the specific items I ordered, the cheesesteak was slightly pricey but not out of the ordinary for a deli. However, the real shock came when I ordered the fries. They were ridiculously expensive, and to make matters worse, I had to pay an additional $1 for Old Bay seasoning. This extra charge for something as basic as seasoning felt excessive and unreasonable. In the future, I plan to bring my own Old Bay seasoning to avoid paying for it again.In conclusion, despite the drawbacks and the feeling of it being more like a gas station than a traditional deli, I would still consider visiting Huntington Deli & Market again.
