“I recently visited My Kabul with family and some friends. Having been to most Afghan restaurants in the DMV and being Afghan myself I can say that the food was average. We ordered mantu and spinach for appetizers. Mantu has a good taste, but barely any yogurt sauce on them. The spinach lacked salt and not as flavorful as other restaurants.The kebabs were juicy, however lacking salt. The rice was good as well. Overall food needs improvement and salt please!!The service was great, our waiter was kind and hospitable. The atmosphere was very welcoming and homey. “Such a pleasant, relaxing place to have coffee and authentic crepes. I live within walking distance, so I tell myself the calories don't count if I walk over. I had a classic crepe suzette, and my friend had a savory Mediterranean crepe, filling enough for lunch or Saturday brunch.“

“Swung by here from out of town. We only got an iced coffee, a mocha frappé and a cheese danish, and we were impressed! The pastry was fresh, soft and yummy, and the drinks were above expectations. “Love this old town Ellicott city Café. It’s filled with characters and chill vibes.Even though it’s located on the edge of the old town. It does not make parking any easier. They do have their own little parking lot. However, given the amount of customers they have on daily base. This little parking lot is filled up fairly quick. Most of the time we have to look for parking on the side streetsThey have an extensive menu for sandwiches and coffee drinks. Also fresh pastries in the bakery displays. “Yaslyn (hope I got our server's name right) was delightful and very accommodating with our requests. We just got off a very early flight and didn't clearly convey our order to her. The portions are large. Ordering off the kids menu is recommended if you are looking for smaller portions. Large warm cups of coffee and tea. “We love this place, we started coming since they opened, we used to go to café EZ 1 in Ellicott City, but we like this one better as has more space and more tables. So, if you are like me, you can enjoy a great selection of pancakes at noon ?.The only thing we don't like much are the prices, but everything is expensive nowadays, right? So, I don't blame this place for rising their prices as food is 98% of the times delicious. Coffee is also great, kind of the same price as Starbucks :( but is good coffee. They carded both of us, made a deal about it, and forgot to make my drink. The person who carded us proceeded to say “you ordered two?” like they didn’t check both of our cards and the receipt said 2. In fact, we watched the person behind the bar make my partner’s drink, 3 more alcoholic drinks, clean up, and put everything away. We stood waiting and staring and trying to call for someone. We ordered to-go… if you see people standing and waiting at the front, and trying to catch someone, doesn’t it mean they’re missing something? I’ll be back for macaroons, but forget getting an overpriced drink that’s made without effort and the most you get is “sorry about that”. Don’t get me wrong, their coffee and macaroons are amazing, and I’ll probably be back - but I regret tipping today and I won’t be wasting my money on a boozy drink again.“

“This coffee shop is a gem tucked away in Artabus just off the Hwy 1 Business route. I stopped in on a Sunday morning on the way home to Frederick after dropping my son off at the BWI Amtrak Station. I had the signature Oca Mocha which was delicious as well as the egg, avocado, and bacon bagel which was equally delicious and substantial. It was such a pleasant place to sit and enjoy my late breakfast on a quiet little street off the beaten path. The staff was super friendly and my food was ready quickly. Highly recommend.“

“Major props for treating gluten free bread as the half-sized slices they are. This is the first place I've been to that spreads the sandwich contents across two small sandwiches. Every other place either attempts to stuff the insides onto puny slices (rarely) or more likely, simply gives you less. In those places, not only are you paying through the nose for GF bread, but you then get less food for the privilege. NOT SO at Atwater's. “Found this place on Yelp. Was looking for a breakfast spot where I could get a BLT before work. This is a nice place inside of an office building. I've only tried their BLT but they have many other sandwiches they offer for breakfast and lunch. They also have pancakes, French toast, salads, chili and other snacks like chips, cookies, snack bars, etc. Prices are not bad. Although I don't like the up-charge everyone seems to do when you want your sandwich on a croissant, bagel, etc. but what can you do. I've been about 3 times I think. They also offer a quarter sliced pickle with your sandwich. The first time the lady asked me if I wanted it. The other times I had to remind the other lady to include it. BLT tasted great. I will try them for lunch soon.“

I usually buy crabs from Crab Shack II in Gwynn Oak.Well, I have to say, the taste of the crab meat, exceeds my expectation. The crab meat has a tinge of spice in it. The comments I heard at the table, "crabs are meaty", "it taste so good".I placed the order for 4 dozen crab (2 dozen males and 2 dozen combo, small and medium) the night before . It rain all day the next day. B & B called me to confirm the order. I changed the time for pick up, added 15 minutes to the time. I picked up the crabs and it is steaming hot. Perfect! They definitely accommodate customers--even on flood watch.Why didn't I give them a 5* for service? They only sell by the dozen. So, if you are looking to buy crabs at half bushel or full bushel, look elsewhere.It has a decent size parking lot where you can park and wait for your order. I did like the fact that I was the only customer waiting for crabs. I came early because of weather. Though I can imagine what parking, looks like, in great weather.“

I loved the quirky decor and the humous conversation between the cook and the man in front. They were so friendly and in sync, I could not tell if they were co-owners. I go for breakfast once a week -(turkey bacon, egg, and Swiss on white) the egg is cooked so perfectly and the sandwich is constructed so neatly. Other than a couple of the stools needing their cushions replaced, nothing to complain about.Could have had scrapple again, but I went with something a little safer. I had the French toast with bacon and added two over-easy eggs to that. The French toast was nice and fluffy and the right amount of cinnamon and powdered sugar. The bacon was nice and crispy and not burned and the eggs had the delightfully runny yolk for a fried over-easy egg.The staff at the diner was very cheerful and friendly and were happy to be there. They do lunch, too, so if you're a little late for breakfast, they do sandwiches, too.If you're looking for a place that isn't fancy and does the basics just right, definitely give Elkridge Deli Cafe a visit.“

If you have time to do a sit down restaurant this one is worth stopping by especially if you are in the A terminal, but you need to have about an hour of time to spare. The chicken was perfectly crispy! My husband got one of their chicken sandwiches. I had a bite and it was delicious! I had to take a star off though because it took them a while to seat us even though there were open tables and when they finally did they sat us at a table that hadn't been wiped down yet. Overall though visiting their airport location made me want to visit the real location especially for brunch.“
