Tropicana grills & Restaurant gives you a home away from home experience with the food and environment. Cliche but true!!.They are my family go to for rightly seasoned Africa dishes.I will recommend Egusi soup with pounded yam.
The food was delicious. After me trying to describe the taste profile i was desiring, the gentleman at the counter took time to explain the flavors of the dishes to me and gave me samples of the stock or sauces to help me decide what I wanted. This food was as delicious and full of flavor as food I had on a beach in Phillipsburg St. Marteen. The lady cooking the food was friendly and she prepared a specil dish for my wife as well. Great lunch specials ($10) hard to find these days to include a beverage as well ( bottle of water ). who cares it’s a deal from every angle. Kinda out the way for us Virginians but well worth the travel. The flavors are true to the Caribbean as what I know of Tropicana. The food portion was on point as well.
