“In Maryland, this place is as good as it gets for Korean Chinese food. You can’t compare it to best Korean Chinese food restaurants in Korea because it’s just not a fair comparison but what they do well here, they know how to do like the spicy noodle (짬뽕) and fried chicken (깐풍기). Their jjampong soup is delicious, with the right amount of spice and seafood flavor in it to give you that kick but also a taste of the ocean. Their fried chicken is most unique kkanpoongi I have ever had as it’s in like a lollipop shape like they advertise and the crispy, crunch, juiciness of the chicken is phenomenal. I would venture to say that’s their best and signature dish. The black bean noodle (짜장면) is average as the sauce is not rich enough. The noodles are handmade which is a nice touch as well and you can see the noodle chef working behind the tinted glass. Overall ambience has really improved after they remodeled and servers are friendly and attentive. It’s just a proper well run neighborhood restaurant and nobody comes close to this in Maryland.“
“We went to do the poke, and wound up with soup, noodles and curry. Really good! The wonton soup had a really good dark, spicy broth (not vegetarian!). My wife's combination lo mein was really good, and the Thai curry with tofu was some of the best I've had.The owners were really fun to talk with, a couple of extroverts doing something they seem to really enjoy. Service was fast, fresh and very friendly! We dined in, "picnic style," as John described it! ? Extra star on the atmosphere for the conversation!I'll have to go back to sample more of the vegetarian options. The vegetables in my curry were no afterthought, but really good, and the firm tofu was really enjoyable. Not sure how to convey that, because the tofu isn't usually a highlight. It looks like even the banh mi if available veggie. Lots of options!Vegetarian options: It looks like all the main dishes are available with a veggie option. My tofu curry was really good, and not just a mish-mash without meat.“
“Don't come at me for liking this place. Yes it's expensive. Yes the view of the lake is nice and calming. Yes the servers aren't Japanese even if it's a Japanese restaurant. Yes it's right near Whole Foods which is probably part of why it's expensive. In comparison to the other sushi restaurants in the area, I think this place has enough ambiance things going on to justify the price. Also where else am I going to get eel avocado with that much green on it and thickly sliced eel? Salmon sashimi (ate it too quick) was thick, melt in the mouth, and delicious. Tempura udon was pretty good too. Went here for lunch and will probably be back!“
“Food is absolutely amazing! The staff was extremely nice and efficient. Our friends took us here for happy hour sushi and we came back three days later because we couldn’t get enough. Also the prices are very affordable for high quality sushi. 11/10.“
“This place is a hidden gem just waiting to excite the taste buds of anyone who walks through the store. The staff was friendly and greet you with you a huge smile, the food was exceptionally fresh, the portions were more than generous, and the service was swift. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or worth a road trip just to experience these divine flavors!“
“I like eating here and any of the other branches of Sushi Q because you always know what you're gonna get if you dine in: miso soup, sushi, and a small cheesecake dessert in a consistently clean/ minimalist space. It's not the fanciest sushi in the area, but sometimes I just want to eat a whole bunch of eel avocado roll and that's what I can get here fresh and affordable. I like to dabble here and there with some of their specialty rolls, but they do my favorite kind so well. Service is scientifically efficient and food can take a little while to prepare, but I'm not usually in a big rush. There's always a line out the door for online/mobile orders. When dining in, there's hardly ever a wait even though it can get crazy busy during dinner. They also have good lunch specials here. We will be back for more.“
“If you live in the local area, this place is a no-frills sushi place with pretty quick service and pretty presentation. My partner and I like to go here mid-week for dinner when we don't feel like cooking. All of the seats are wooden booth seating, which I really like. The waiters are professional and attentive, but don't circle back too often. The sushi we order doesn't have too much rice packed on like other places. On our most recent trip, I got the unagi don and he got the pork katsu curry. We will be back!“
“I would like to start off with amazing service. The cashier was so kind, accommodating, and made my day. I really do appreciate her. The food is healthy, fresh, and delicious. It makes me feel like i’m eating better! this is a company that sticks to their values. just amazing. Thank “
“Ordered via Uber eats, but I've been ordering from them for years! The family that runs it is super nice! It is a carry out place like your typical Chinese restaurant. I had their wings and they are some of the best wings I've ever had! Highly recommend!“
“Awesome experience! I had super hot and gooey takoyaki, had a great bowl of udon with a very rich broth (off menu too, was offered by the server), and was given a complementary chilled cinnamon tea for desert. The server and staff was incredibly friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the “
“Jumbo jumbo is my go-to spot when I crave Asian food. I always order the chili basil chicken; these chicken bites are perfectly seasoned every time. The boba tea and smoothies are always perfect. The ordering process is very smooth, and the place looks nice and clean.“
“I had heard there was Korean food near base, but never been. Decided to try it for lunch today. Glad I did! It's a small place, but clean with space to dine-in. The man taking my order was nice and the food didn't take long to make. I got it to-go. The spicy pork bulgogi was delicious! They give you a lot of food too. I'm absolutely stuffed. I will definitely be going back again.“
“I had a great time for lunch the other day! The food was fresh and delicious- They had a huge selection- noodles, sushi! The staff was attentive and we got water right when we sat down. The restaurant was painted dark but had a lot of light coming in! It was a relaxed vibe for sure“
“Our son goes to UMBC & took him out to lunch last Saturday & we picked this Bonchon location. Was afraid the chicken would be meh but it was actually very good. We got an order or 8 mixed - half soy & half spicy. Got another 8 of spicy & some bulgogi fried rice. The wings were fried perfectly. I thought the spicy would be mild given this is a chain restaurant catering to 'Muricans but it was very spicy. Great flavor, but the spiciness builds. We really enjoyed both. Will try the other sauces next time. The fried rice was superb. Definitely recommend this place & we'll eat here again in the future when we take our son out for lunch.“
“This is a great little place. We were looking for a quick place to get sushi without spending a fortune. Ordered the fried cream cheese wontons (not fantastic but tasty), and two sushi burritos (raging bull and the crouching tiger). Both were excellent and filling. Definitely recommend this place. It is a small place in a strip mall setting.“
“Yum yum yum, this place was excellent say good bye to Sarku this place is way better !Order :Chicken Teriyaki bowl with steam rice ( white rice )Chicken,Shrimp and Beef Teriyaki with fried rice ( not traditionally fried rice this rice is just white rice with soy sauce )Original Fried Wings = all flats(You have the option to choose flats or drumsticks )This wings are amazing crispy and juicy perfect fried wings ! Clean oil !This place is budget friendly . They also have a flower wall in the back where you can take cute pictures .“
“Chicken Tikka Masala pizza......wouldn't have thought I'd love it this much but I legit drive about 30 min when I gotta have one. The rest of the menu has been very tasty but for me? The star is that pizza, and careful with the spiciness if you're sensitive to heat “
“Our first choice was red lobster but because of the wait time n bad service we kept looking and came across the East Moon Bistro, the first impression was the atmosphere the decor was great n clean and a great calm vibe. The host was warm and welcoming, and quick 2 seat us. The server was welcoming and well informed, and our food came out quick and was delicious and filling. Will definitely be coming back!“
“Super service for our party of 33 + 20.Very attentive. Good was delicious and delivered quickly. (We ordered ahead.)Thanks to Z the hospitality manager. He remembers names so well. The following servers did an outstanding job with our crowd. Andrew, Rachel, Melanie, and Kamron. We’ll be back.Vegetarian options: We lived the eggplant. Tofu, green beans, rice.“
“My go to chinese carryout place. Best place for chicken wings or other chicken pieces to eat as well and the fried rice. I tried fried rice from dozens of other carryouts and nothing comes close to their rice. Steak and cheese is the best and others dishes are great as well. Only problem is it's cash only other then that food is great.Btw ask for the hot sauce if you get fried chicken. The sauce is strong but goes well with the chicken!“
“This was my first visit to this establishment. We had lunch here the lunch special is $9.25 which is very good for the amount of food they give you. I tried Orange chicken with jasmine rice nice flavor. The dipping sauce for the egg roll was tasty as well. The wait staff were pleasant. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing . I will visit again.“
“Delicious Chinese food and decent sized portions. We order the usual stuff like shrimp egg foo young, egg rolls, egg drop soup, general tso's chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli and fried rice. All of it is good, so we order from Asian Express regularly.Parking: It's in a sometimes crowded strip mall with other restaurants.“
