“Food was excellent. Kuromame was as expected, but took forever to bring out. Eel-avocado-cucumber roll was great. Karaage also. Brussels sprouts were excellent, but a *little* too much dressing. The Kitchen Sink was superb. Everything tasted fresh with no fishy fishy. I liked the novelty of the Japanese Sangaria Ramune melon soda, which was refreshing.Service was quite odd and confusing. The nice lady who seated us outside kind of made it seem as if she would be our server and took our order, however after the food came, we were introduced to a gentleman who was our actual server. He was having a bad day, for sure, as I actually saw him ball up his fist in frustration. Sorry, dude - I get it. All the while, whom I believe may have been the owner was watching outside and not really being helpful. It was obvious Kenaki was not terribly organized when it comes to the service.I'd go back for the food.“
“The crispy pork belly and Sisig are a must try for first timers! Try the famous Filipino Lumpia too and you won't be disappointed. Food was excellent. Hopefully they can improve on their serving portion and pricing to entice more non-Filipinos to come in and try their dishes.“
“My wife and I are from southwest of China. I would say Chef Lee's Element makes the best and the most authentic southwest Chinese dishes in DC area. We've tried almost every dish and it never lets us down. For the service, I want to thank Micheal for his kind and wonderful service, he is always smiling and talkative and gives his nice recommendations of the dishes. We go there almost every week.“
“Very welcoming atmosphere. Great quality food for such a low price. 10/10 would come here again.Vegetarian options: You can choose your chicken to be made with vegan chickenParking: Plenty of parking spotsKid-friendliness: There are High chairs for little kids“
“We love Thai Tanium -- they are our favorite Thai restaurant in the Gaithersburg / Germantown / Rockville area. We've been ordering their delicious dishes since they opened nearly 20 years ago! The menu has great variety with reasonable prices. The interior decorations are lovely, it always feels peaceful to eat inside. The staff are always friendly and helpful.“
“There are many Bonchon locations in the DMV, but this one in particular is the best. Their food is always fresh, crispy, and on time; categories that other Bonchon locations have proven inconsistent in. That and the in-house Kung Fu Tea make this restaurant a must-visit.“
“My friends and I have been coming here for years. Its a quick service order to go spot for Asian fusion sushi burritos or bowls. Its located inside of a gas station and parking is limited. I stopped by recently and placed a fairly large order. Wait time was around 25 minutes for 6 items. Prices are reasonable and I like the selection here. We ordered everything from the tuna + salmon sushi burritos. For the rice bowls, we ordered the basil chicken, tempura shrimp and black pepper beef. Each burrito is packed with avocado, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, corn and edamame. Food is prepped in front of you and the staff was so friendly. Prices are reasonable and I see why the MD Yelp team puts this place on its top places to eat list every year.“
“I've been to this place two times now, and it is definitely a spot that I would recommend. So, why 4 stars... because I don't eat pork or beef, and this limits what I can try. I o wish they had more veggie options. However, everything I tried from this place has been really good. I was surprised at how good their Kimchi Pancakes (KP) are - usually, KP at restaurants are forgettable, and these were anything but.The Tofu Bao Buns are great. The shrimp burger is REALLY good. The fish tacos were ok, I wish there was more kimchi on them. They also make their own kimchi! It's a really nice and quaint spot that I'm going to make sure I tell other about.Vegetarian options: I wish they had more vegetarian options. I believe there are probably 3-5 vegetarian dishes. However, they may accommodate removing meat & eggs from their Bi Bim Bap.“
“Rich’s Cafe is an absolute gem! From the moment you step-in, you’re greeted with warm smiles from Sunny and her husband, and the smell of delicious hot paninis and Korean dishes. My to-go menu are the mambo sandwich (has a spicy kick), bulgogi bowl (marinated Korean beef with veggies on rice), and bibimbap (rice with seasoned veggies and protein). They open early and the breakfast menu is great as well!“
“Love the Asian Fusion Bowls with the tasty big flavors Salads with Asia flavor, they have kimchi, purple rice, Asian spiced meats and dressings. It's one of my favorite places in the Rockville/Bethesda Area. When I'm in the mood for a salad with pizazz, this is the place I go. I get the child-size for lunch and the full size salad for dinner. The service is good, the last time I stopped by, I received a free miso soup. Thank you, for the generosity.I love their variety of teas and juices. They have table downstairs, tables upstairs and some outside. One of my favorite dessert that they offer, is the coconut milk pudding, it's so creamy and delicious. I hope they bring this back soon. Located on the outer edge of the Pike and Rose neighborhood, and close by to the garage this is a lunch favorite pick up spot for me. I can't wait until Spring when they have table outside and I'll be able to enjoy my lunch and watch the crowd go by.“
“First time we tried to come here it was a Friday evening and there was a 30+ min wait. However, there was plenty of seating around 530 on a Tuesday. Nice atmosphere and we found everything to be very worth the price.I am usually not a big fan of tofu, but their fried tofu in the Pad Thai was very tasty. The Khao Soi wasn't my favorite in the area, but it was still very good. Plus, I have found most places give 1 piece of chicken and this place gave double, at a comparable or lower price than the others, so I felt it was well worth it. The Papaya Salad was refreshing and the glaze on the Spicy Catfish was very delicious. Can recommend all those dishes.Service was more than adequate and the food came out quickly. The only minor negative was I found their rice to be a bit soggy/sticky. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that or they just used too much water this time. Overall, I would recommend coming here. Great food at a very reasonable price.“
“The Spot has many options for any restaurant we can eat. It is very friendly to the environment. That does make me feel welcome to go to that place. I enjoyed viewing the general food. That is so wonderful. I had a great time eating a dessert. My day is the best. What a blast I love it!“
“I heard many things about the Taiwanese Fried Chicken so I wanted to try it out. At this location you cannot choose the spice level. When it came out the chicken was very most crispy and the seasoning had a nice flavor to it.I also ordered a Jasmine Green Milk Tea which I loved. The boba was very firm and chewy and the tea flavor was good without being too sweet. Most places I order 30-50% sugar level but here I got 100% and it was perfect. That being sad, I could see how the tea isn't sweet enough for most people.“
“The food here is excellent. It takes 15-25 for an order. You can shop while you wait since it's located inside Lotte Mart which is a Korean grocery store. The menu is varied. Everything I've tried has been excellent and the portions are excellent. A lot of people come here just for the food when they're not even food shopping. That's how popular it is. Unlike other food stalls located inside Korean grocery stores, a lot of non-Koreans come here. The servers speak perfect English and are friendly and I think that helps non-Koreans feel more comfortable ordering food from here. The ambiance is inside-a-grocery-store ambiance.“
