“This has to be one of the best places in the area for some amazing Peruvian chicken. My family and I had the family combo which is enough for a family of 6 easy. The food is great, flavors are spot on but for anyone who is not familiar with Peruvian mash potatoes these are not your typical mash potatoes, but they are great. They have an excellent choice of sides and they were all great. Anyone stopping by who loves flan must try their flan. The music and the decor was also incredible and really nostalgic.“

“I love this place. I transfer buses at the corner and every morning I go in and get a scrapple egg and cheese sandwich. Along with a large half & half. They make the best half & half out of anywhere I have been in Baltimore. And I love the owners. They are so friendly. She knows what I want before I even speak. She always double checks to be certain every once in awhile I add something. Get fast friendly service. We noticed a few other tables around us had issues as well. (Two other tables flagged down a waiter.) maybe just an off night for the wait staff. “I have eaten here before and their chicken is real good as well as their breakfast sandwiches.Today I stopped in to get a cheesesteak sub and it was really good and a lot of meat which other places skimp on. However the reason for only 4 stars I had asked for raw onion instead of fried as I don’t like fried onions When I got home and opened the sub up and started to eat it there was just way too many onions. Pretty well over powered the meat and rest of added items. Had to take a bunch off the sub to gain some other flavor throughout. Again other then that it was delicious once I pulled off the onions and the staff was very friendly“

But the service was so chaotic today and the food was incredibly slow when the restaurant didn't have much of a lunch rush. Maybe 3-4 people at a time waiting for food. I had an hour lunch break, walked to Nandos, ordered, and then waited just under 40 min standing next to the counter. The 2 people with me had the same experience. At 30 min I finally said something and at that point they started putting together our stuff. Multiple people around us were holding wrong food or waiting forever for food. I had to walk back to work with my food and no time to eat it.. I'm really hoping it was just a one off and they get it together. Kitchen staff were working really hard it just seemed like there was zero management or coordination going on. The food was still great though!“
“Finally had enough food from here to give it a review. Usually get the fried chicken, which is always on point. Tastes like a grandmother made it with love, and is always consistently good. Have had the fish and that’s good, and they give you a lot for the money. Decided to try the turkey wings yesterday and that’s what made me finally decide to write a review. They told me to walk around the corner from the business building and you would find sunny's. the environment is exactly what I expected, busy, loud and packed of people waiting to order and pick up. The food was amazing. Wings were big, wedges were fantastic and huge and the sauce was phenomenal. Definitely what I was looking for. The greens were ok, but everything made up for it. “Yes this is a gas station and the chicken was good! I usually go to the one in DC but found this one on Yelp which I'm glad I did, much closer. We had to wait about 25mins for our order of 16 mix pieces and a large shoestring French fries. The wait wasn't long for us to receive fresh hot chicken. The cook even threw in 3 extra pieces since we waited patiently. Wish they had a chair or two for you to sit and wait but otherwise it was a normal gas station experience. I did look around and and the prices were a bit higher than normal but I take it's due to the location. People will pay because it's all they have.“

“I see these restaurants all the time but couldn't get past the name, so I never stopped.....Well - today I did and they definitely exceeded my expectations. This is a chain restaurant and the menu is very diverse. There is fried fish and fried chicken (of course), but you can also find lamb or chicken over rice, other options like greek pita or kabob, and desserts! I found so many options that I didn't know what to try.There is plenty of parking and there was security inside and staff cleaning the grounds and the floors. I felt like I would give it a try.I was also happy they carry Everfresh....Prices were steep and the staff wasn't friendly but not extremely rude.I ordered the catfish meal and it was about $11, everfresh drink $2.50, and a sweet potato pie just because....I decided to try the greens too just because I love greens and cabbage (no cabbage on the menu). Side of greens was a little over $4.00.You do the math....was it worth it???? Everything was cooked fresh (except greens and coleslaw). The fish and fries was sprinkled with something white (tasted ok...although they could have sprinkled mine with a little more seasoning).I would go again.....I liked they had bread on the bottom and a side of coke slaw. Made the price make a little bit more sense. The portion was a nice size. I ordered too much.
