“Unfortunately we came on a low inventory day and they were out of lots of their advertised products. Almost everyone in our family had to order something different because they were sold out of what we originally wanted. The owner felt bad and generously gave us a free ice cream. We were very grateful for that and it helped make up for their low inventory. Even though it wasn't what we originally wanted, it was still delicious. The service was great and I will happily return to this location.“

“We absolutely love having Hoffman Brothers here in Frederick. Taharka Bros is our favorite ice cream and thanks so this place we can indulge in our faves as often as we’d like (and keep the freezer stocked)! If you haven’t tried their ice cream, the Honey Graham is a MUST. My personal favorite is Chocolate Love- chocolate ice cream with an Oreo swirl. As close to heaven as it gets! ?“

“Fun little ice cream shop. Took me two tries to make it here. First time, I came in the winter. I didn't realize they close for the season. Came back in the spring and finally got some soft serve!Prices are comparable for ice cream. I love soft serve. The serving size is generous. As always, the larger the size, the better the value. I got the orange swirl. Magically melts very slow. Was delicious! I read some reviews before heading over and the comments are true... might be borderline too thick. Before tasting their ice cream, I thought "impossible!" After tasting it and thought "oh I see..." I wonder if it's certain flavors though. Friends had different flavors and theirs looked more melty and less thick. It appears they have a few rotating flavors. Gotta check their social media for what they are.The logistics of visiting this place is tricky. Very limited parking in their lot. We had to (illegally?) park at the convenience store on the other side. There is no inside the store. It's a window only so if there's any inclement weather, you're standing in it in line. The line does move quickly. Bunch of kids working inside but it's a pretty well oiled machine.“

“As long as we've lived in the Area Sweet Babe's has been my favorite. Imho it is better than Jimmie Cone and Dairy Queen. As long as Sweet Babe's is open they will be my go to ice cream stop. It's simple delicious ice cream!“

“I ordered my son a chocolate mouse cake online. We loved it, in fact it was better then a previous cake I bought for much more money. This one was only $31. It was so easy to just have the cakes online and pick it up,no stressing! My son had a great tenth birthday and he loved this cake. ❤️Dietary restrictions: Awesome with vegan cakes as well“

“Heard about this place from some hoagie friends. Stopped in for an Italian cold cut but ended up with a muffaletta after I learned the olive salad is house-made. It was good and everything was high quality but the olive salad was lacking much flavor. Didn’t fix my craving for the oily, vinegary, hots, etc. that I was craving with the Italian. I’ll go with the Italian next time and I’m sure it will be delicious.“

“In my opinion the best ice cream you can ever eat. Probably no other place around with the view of 20 miles while you eat and watch all the animals. The people that own and run this gem of a spot are always extremely nice and will always make you feel welcome when you visit.“

“We visited during the Fire & Ice Festival, so I can't speak to how it normally is, but they handled us without much delay and were friendly. My wife and I got milkshakes, her's was vegan with vegan oat milk whipped cream. We aggreed that both were good but not as punchy a flavor as we've had in the past. Not sure exactly what it was, maybe lower cream content than other brands. They use local ice cream. I got blueberry cheesecake, which was a nice flavor, just kind of mild and not as sugary as I normally have had. Massive selection of sodas, lots of weird ones, and tons of candies you've never seen. Very cool place, felt like a time capsule.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled vegan non-dairly products.Parking: Paid street parking right by store and several paid, cheap garages within a short walking distance.“

“Probably one of the best ice cream places in town. There is so much seating and the staff is very friendly. I got c is for cookie and the homie who served me gave me extra Oreo toppings for free since he thought the scoop he gave me did not have chocolate chips in it. I do wish there was more variety and more flavors. Otherwise it is very good ice cream. I will absolutely be going back.“

“My kids and I spent an unusually warm January Friday driving through Damascus on our way back from the Maryland zoo and passed by this ice cream stand right around sunset. They were closing up but they very kindly served us and let us stay even after they closed to finish our ice cream. The ice cream was delicious. It was the perfect way to end the day. I plan to go back again and let the kids play on the playground. The picnic tables were clean and sturdy. There was plenty of parking. The location is great. Pricing was reasonable. 4 of us shared 2 scoops and it was more than enough.“

“For any who doesn't already know, this location is only open until this Sunday, 11/26/23. They are permanently closing and moving to a new, free-standing location with a drive thru in Urbana. The team they've had for years have always been super friendly from the owner all the way down. As a fellow mall (but not DQ) employee, they will be missed but I wish them the best of luck!“

“Best tasting custard. Limited options but great quality. Slightly expensive compared to other competitors but the taste and quality makes up for the price.Located outside the main complex and away from the crowd which makes it a good pit stop place.“

“I visited this new location of Rita's. There was no line so we got our gelati's quickly; however, they have an outdoor walk up window to make service quickly in the summer when there are long lines. Parking is a little confusing as all the spots say reserved and appear to be for the live work units but I didn't have any trouble since we were there quickly. The cashier (also possibly the owner) was very friendly...however the small cup did appear significantly smaller than the other frederick Rita's locations. Overall a good experience and delicious Italian ice per usual!“
