I went there on a Saturday around 6pm. I was nervous it would be super busy and tried to call ahead but no one answered. There were a few cars in the parking g lot when I got there. This is my favorite takeout place, no question. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for the food my parents and grandparents made and this is where I get it. The fried catfish has just the right amount of seasoning and crunch and the collards are superb. I treat myself to a serving of peach cobbler and while it's denser than I'm used to, it still makes me smile. The best part is you won't go hungry; they give pretty large portions. This food was disappointing to say the least. I got the Rotisserie Chicken, Mac & cheese and Collard greens. For starters this chicken is so dry to the point the meat was gritty when trying to chew it. The Mac&cheese might have been ok if it was soaked in the juice from the collard greens (shown in the picture) it was literally flooded.
