“My family goes there often. Today, I had the breakfast burrito, which was delicious. The homemade pickled jalapeños are really delicious. My daughter had chicken fingers, which were also quite good. We got tater tots with both entrees. Tater tots are good anytime, anywhere. We left with a cookie each. My peanut butter cookie was delicious, and my daughters Smores cookie got rave reviews as well. Will be going back soon.“
“WOW! WE LUCKED OUT!We stumbled upon this little spot in Fells Point, not realizing what a hidden GEM it was! The menu is chocked full of fun/creative & delicious brunch-type items. We had a tough time choosing & the French toast options we spotted looked amaaaazing. We settled on sharing the b'fast sandwich & the bacon/blue patty melt with the maple-glazed/caramelized mushrooms/onions on the side (which was a tasty topping on both sandwiches). We also ordered a side of pancakes that were light & fluffy. The food was yummy, the quality was excellent, and portion sizes were huge! Kudos to the chef and our hard-working, accommodating waiter for a fabulous first-timer's experience.“
“Always amazing drinks (coffee and mango matcha smoothie are to die for!) and awesome food. I've had the caprese panini and shrimp and grits, and the bananas foster french toast. They never miss ?Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan optionsDietary restrictions: They are very accommodating with many of the dishes. They were willing to remove the bacon from the shrimp and grits to make it pescatarian.Kid-friendliness: There are always babies and kids here, it's a nice vibe.“
“A hidden Jem, you could miss this spot if you didn't know it was there. Dont come here expecting Ruth Chris type scene but expect excellent made food. This place has been a staple in Mt Vernon for at least 15 yrs. I have never had a bad food experience here in all the years I've been patronizing this establishment. The food is especially good after a night out drinking. If you want a good fairly priced meal, definitely try this spot out!Wheelchair accessibility: Located in the side entrance to the Belvedere, at street level.“
“Great food, at extremely reasonable price. Quick and friendly service. Not fancy inside but I don’t think it is supposed to be. It is mainly carry out but plenty of room to sit inside. I have only had breakfast there but looking forward to trying lunch.Dietary restrictions: Low carb options!“
“This is one of the only things I missed about going into the office was coming here and getting a sausage egg and cheese on wheat toast with jelly and butter. This deli does what its needs to do its in a convenient location, its quick and the food is good. Cant ask for anything else“
“I lucked out. I meant only to “grab a cup of coffee” this morning casually on the way to Baltimore’s Penn Station to head home to nyc and lucky me for heading here. Good coffee, yes, yummy grits with cheese (my daughter had the tomato soup and grilled cheese) , relaxed homey elevated atmosphere with aninstallation of African textiles, patterns, color, and more. Also the adjoining gallery of MICA senior work was invigorating, inspiring.Thank you! …. Hope to be back !“
“Food is super good . French toast bacon egg and cheese was the best . Belgium waffles are soo good . Nothing there dissapoints . Im from NY and i wish they could come out here lol 10/10 . Only thibg i will say is you will be waiting a little while for your food but its well worth the wait .“
“This was my first visit. I was greeted upon entry, and my order taken quickly. My Turkey omlet was just ok. I expected fresh turkey; however, thinly sliced processed turkey was used. I did like having the option to substitute the sliced tomatoes for a tossed salad. The atmosphere is family friendly. The restroom was clean with one handicap and one regular stall. They are located in a plaza, so there is plenty of free parking. My drink was ok too. I will go back.Parking: It's in a plaza, so there is plenty of free parking.“
“Hot made to order breakfast, generous serving, unbeatable price.Ordered the Avenue or an omelette with bacon, sausage, ham and cheese with grits, toast and a coffee all for $11.34...our go to breakfast spot located in Hampden. Feels like the place where everybody knows your name!“
“The best food ever. The two men were so polite. Best customer service ever. I had the crab and shrimp wrap, which was amazing. My daughter had the spinach and mushroom omelet, Also delicious. This was my first time eating here, but it was definitely not my last.“
“Gooooood Day my fat people…. If anyone knows me, I’m a Breakfast girl- And I stick to the basics— Bacon, Eggs, a bread (Waffle or Pancakes) and Grits if Available*… let me tell you how I seen this spot when it first came to town but ai can honestly admit I was turned off by the Tacky sign and name* and dark appearance of the interior of the restaurant so I put off going in - but bayyyyyyyybeeee the basics of the food here is POPPIN’!!!!…. Everything was made to perfection- Bacon cooked evenly, eggs cooked & done still soft with the taste of cheese, the Waffle Crisp of the edges// soft on the inside…. AND THE GRITS!!!!! ?????? doesn’t matter if U like SUGAR or SALT* or CHEESE* on top… the texture and neutral taste of them with nothing on top is AMAZING ???… this is a must go to— with BlueMoon & FirstWatch… I’m just sorry I didn’t go earlier ???— the only things needed to improve would be the aesthetics — like maybe a white ceiling & better made tables - The rest is A+ ???“
“Wow! Just discovered this gem. Perfect country diner in the large umbrella of the Amish Market. A sit down diner, perfect breakfast lunch and dinner. Quick service from super friendly staff. We can't wait to return. Huge serving. Great pancakes and biscuits. And they have fresh sticky buns!! Go here.“
“Excellent customer service. Arrived just after a very large group and employee apologized several times for needing to wait a little. Employee also offered to make us a unique off-menu sandwich of his own creation and it was delicious. Waffle grilled cheese was also very satisfying. Definitely recommend and will be back soon.“
“My recent visit to First Watch in Pikesville was nothing short of exceptional, transforming a regular morning into a memorable dining experience. From the moment we stepped in, the efficiency of the staff was evident as we were promptly seated, setting a positive tone for our visit. Our waitress, Q, was the epitome of warmth and professionalism, greeting us with a smile that made us feel genuinely welcomed. For starters, I couldn’t resist ordering a side of the Million Dollar Bacon, which lived up to its name in every savory bite. My main course, the Blackberry Lemon Cream French Toast, was a delightful symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Accompanying my meal was the Honey Caramel Crunch iced coffee cold foam drink, a masterpiece of sweet and salty notes topped with luscious cream and toffee crumbles. It was love at first sip!My friend opted for the Belgian Waffle and Market Hash with Scrambled Eggs, a hearty meal that challenged even his appetite. He, too, was enticed by the allure of the Honey Caramel Crunch iced coffee, deciding to join me in savoring this exquisite beverage, and we both were in agreement—it was an absolute highlight.Q, our waitress, was the cherry on top of an already splendid visit. Her attentive and friendly demeanor ensured that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. She made us feel valued and taken care of, a rare quality that truly sets apart an eating establishment. While the location is snug and parking can be a bit of an endeavor, the incredible food, cozy atmosphere, and stellar staff make it worth the effort. The charm of this place is undeniable, fostering a welcoming environment that beckons you to return. We wholeheartedly recommend First Watch in Pikesville to anyone looking for a dining experience that combines delectable food, exceptional service, and a warm ambiance. It’s a testament to how a meal can be transformed into an experience. We will definitely be making our way back to this gem of a location!“
