For $26.99 we expected a larger amount for the grits. Instead we received a sm-iny bowl of grits that was more like an appetizer. We could have gotten two large size bowls from elsewhere for that price as we've done before.The shrimp salad portion was small too. Even the amount of chips included were like 1/2 cup. The French toast was average size, and not big and fluffy like some other places. Would we spend $70+ here again for the portions we received? I doubt it.“

“Love this old town Ellicott city Café. It’s filled with characters and chill vibes.Even though it’s located on the edge of the old town. It does not make parking any easier. They do have their own little parking lot. However, given the amount of customers they have on daily base. This little parking lot is filled up fairly quick. Most of the time we have to look for parking on the side streetsThey have an extensive menu for sandwiches and coffee drinks. Also fresh pastries in the bakery displays. But I was so pleased that I literally had to personally give the Chef/ Kitchen Manager praise for an outstanding job done. My experience there was 10/10. Any time my little 5 yr old daughter, who doesn't eat anything but my cooking demolished her meal. Then you know the food was Phenomenal. I definitely will be returning. ??????????“
“My friends and I love Ocha Mocha! The vibes of the place are so good, and they play the most interesting music! It's a versatile place; you can go with friends and hangout, or go alone and get some work done. The staff are all friendly, coffee is great, and the food is pretty good, too. My go to oder is an Iced Ocha Mocha with almond milk. It never misses! Parking can be tricky, but there is a lot you can pay to park in if you are not able to park on the street.The only downside was that our food did take about 20 minutes because they had forgotten about it. It was worth the wait, though!“

“Major props for treating gluten free bread as the half-sized slices they are. This is the first place I've been to that spreads the sandwich contents across two small sandwiches. Every other place either attempts to stuff the insides onto puny slices (rarely) or more likely, simply gives you less. In those places, not only are you paying through the nose for GF bread, but you then get less food for the privilege. NOT SO at Atwater's. We called ahead a.few minutes before all 15 of us showed up and the staff didn't skip a beat. They graciously and quickly got us seated by combining tables together.
