I will be ordering my third birthday cake from them. I have tried 4-5 bakery in the Rockville area and by far this bakery is the best. Really delicious cake and fair price!

I had ordered Mango Passion Hazelnut cake, it was fresh, delicious and perfect amount of sugar. This will be my go to place for desserts. Highly recommend.

Outstanding French baked goods!! The apple strudel was outstanding...a must get. The cheesecake, rectangular cakes and raspberry cookie were fantastic too. $30 for five or six treats so definitely on the expensive side. But a must visit in the area!

Best bakery in town! I plan on getting my wedding cake here as well. It's hard to recommend one thing when it's all so good. Friendly people too.

Their cakes are an annual staple for birthdays in my family. The staff is very personable and polite. The cakes are always stunning and vibrant, visually and in taste. Rockville is proud to have such a lovely bakery for so many years!

No other bakery quite like this. The layered cakes are absolutely a delight to the senses--they have more than 10 different layered cakes, each with 2-3 layers of different but complementary flavors. They're available everyday in individual slices to try and I can't help but purchase at least 4-5 each time. The various cookies that you can't usually find in more standard places are also reliably good. I love that this is a mom and pop shop that sells unique cakes that aren't duplicated elsewhere. They've been in business for ...3 decades or something? So go while they still exist.

I had the pleasure of visiting Les Délices French Bakery in Rockville, and it was an absolute delight! This bakery is a hidden gem for those with a sweet tooth and a love for authentic French pastries. The French cakes at Les Délices are nothing short of divine. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients are evident in each creation. Their cakes not only taste incredible but are also beautifully presented, making them perfect for any special occasion. Our go to favorite is the guava cake. It's not too sweet and just the right amount of tartness. The staff at Les Délices are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the perfect pastry or offer a warm welcome. Les Délices French Bakery in Rockville is the place to go.

Hazelnut crunch is out of this world. Almond croissants also exceptional. I did not love the cookies I hot, but that's a matter of taste. Huge assortment, so you're bound to find something you like. Counter staff are courteous and welcoming.

I feel like I am an anomaly because all these reviewers raved about how great this place is but I found it to be underwhelming for my own taste. I came here because I was interested in the lychee pistachio cake. I had ordered these slices: 1. Vanilla Bean Tres Leche2. Vanilla Bean Blueberry Almond 3. Hazelnut Crunch 4. Lychee Pistachio And....I didn't really like any of them except for the Hazelnut Crunch. I'll be honest that I'm more used to Asian, Latino, and grocery store cakes so maybe I just dont have the proper taste buds for French goods. It was both the texture and taste that did not appeal to me. The cake slices were priced reasonably and the service was fantastic but this place will be a pass for me.

Blown away!! We got the coffee mocha cake to celebrate a birthday. It was beautiful and probably the best cake I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this flavor if you like tiramisu-esque things. I also appreciate that it stays well in the fridge for a couple days and doesn’t dry out. Really kind people working there too! Thank you, Les Delices!

The thing they call a Tres Leches is a sad, dry and bland lazy attempt at who knows what. That thing does not come close to what a Tres Leches actually is.Que vergüenza!Stick to French pastries if this is what you're going to do to traditional Latin American deserts. ?

I got the tres Leche cake from here and I wasn't that impressed especially paying $50 for it. Another family member brought another tres Leche cake and that one tasted much better. If I ate this cake by itself then maybe I would have different view, but eating it with another cake really showed that this was overpriced and definitely not worth the money. Also you have to pay $5 extra if you want anything written on it. Overall maybe the other cakes are great but not the tres Leche one.

We have been long time customers and decided to order a ceremonial cutting cake (black currant crunch), five cake slices (including the classic chocolate hazelnut crunch), and an assortment of cookies for our wedding. We could not be more satisfied with the process and our desserts. Our guests left talking about how good the dessert was. We would strongly recommend Les Delices for weddings and other special occasions – or just for a casual treat. You won’t find a better local bakery.
