“Since Stephanie started working there...we WILL start coming back again AND I'm "upping" this rating to FIVE stars! ?????We stopped frequenting for about 3 years because the bartending staff was pretty glum and unwelcoming.Yay, Ms. Stephanie for bringing the uppity AND chill vibes back into Pete's! ??“
“Great small business, nice view of the Maryland countryside and close to the river. The staff is very friendly and accommodating they have great specials. If I had to choose my favorite thing off of their menu it would be the country ham sandwich.“
“Everything I was excited for about this place fell flat. Service was decent, but the room we were shoved into was cramped and damp. Food was subpar for what I was expecting and for the price. Platting was fantastic, but the taste just wasn't there. We waited quite a long time for our drinks.“
“The drinks and food were on point, one of the best old fashioneds I have ever had! Everything was so incredibly good! But not only that, Alma Bea also really took care of me as a vegetarian and catered to me so unexpectedly. I am truly amazed with this restaurant. I also fell in love with our waitress Julia, she was the most sweetest, charming server I think I've ever had! ? We will definitely be going back and recommend this restaurant to everyone❤️“
“They're fully booked on a Saturday evening, but we're able to sit at the bar. Curried pumpkin soup and braised pot roast were extremely delicious. I found the caesar dressing a little weak but not bad.Overall, it was a pleasant experience!“
“We had been looking for a good place to stop while traveling through MD and Interchange looked fun, so we decided to come here for lunch. The decor inside is very fun and it does feel like a tiki atmosphere, so they did a good job. We got a flight of their beers and a cocktail and the drinks were bright and tasty and we enjoyed them. We were excited to try the food as well and we got an order of dumplings, a burger topped with crab, and crab fried rice. The food was unfortunately extremely salty and it was to the point where we couldn't finish our meal. It's a shame since the flavors were interesting, but the food is just too salty. Interchange makes good drinks and it can be even better if they improve the food a bit.“
“Always have a great experience at Blue Moon. Food is always delicious and staff friendly. They have a great indoor and outdoor environment. Some of my favorite menu options are the Reuben and the burgers. The Reuben has a lot of meat and is very flavorful, and the burgers are always cooked perfectly and with the perfect amount of toppings. Highly recommended!“
“My husband and I stopped here for lunch while riding the C&O Canal Towpath. Our salads were absolutely delicious. Fresh, healthy ingredients, lots of veggies and wonderful dressing options. Plus the staff were so friendly and welcoming.“
“The atmosphere was nice lots of different signs and cool trinkets. When it came to the food it was great, the braised short rib poutine was nice and tender but it had a little bit more acidity than expected. The fish and chips were good the haddock was fried nicely while the chips were crispy with a soft interior. The chile lime wings were okay they had almost no lime taste and they were very sweet which was a little odd. When it came to the cobb salad it was nice and a great gluten free option. The wandertown cheesesteak was phenominal. Our server cody was amazing and really made us feel welcomed. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would be willing to come again.“
“We were in the area visiting Harpers Ferry and were looking for a place to eat. We stumbled upon this place just a short drive away and decided to stop. It's a great little restaurant with a warm and welcoming vibe. The cashier was super friendly and our meals were made quickly. I had their fish tacos. I cannot recommend them enough! The sauce was excellent and the added crunch from the carrots and cabbage made the dish delicious! I highly recommend you stop here for a bite if you're in the area!“
“I've had breakfast from one coast to the other. You will not find better homefries anywhere. Everything tastes just like it came out of your mom or grammas kitchen. Nothing mass produced here. Delicious food, great prices, and friendly service. If I could give ten stars I would.“
“Great service I had a great Burger melt on toast. There's nothing wrong with the atmosphere it's just an average but great local restaurant with plain furnishings. ....you don't eat the furnishings, so that is a small part of the score.“
“I’ve been to a lot of Cracker Barrel’s over the years. My first visit was in 1970 somewhere in Tennessee. It’s as good now as it was then in most CB’s. Our visit today in Hagerstown did not disappoint with great service, food and atmosphere.Don’t forget to check out the gift section, there’s clothes, whimsical toys and candies from yesteryear.I recommend coming to this location.“
“Not a good dining experience. Husband and I got the BBQ sandwich with coleslaw and fries. Only a little bit of sauce on sandwich and coleslaw had no flavor. I got sweet tea wasn't sweet my husband got coffee. The first cup was only half the second after he asked waiter for more took 10 minutes to get while he was walking around. I'm very disappointed and still hungry. Also the BBQ sandwich had a funny taste to it“
“Hi, my name is Addie. I'm a nine-year-old black lab.My mom and dad spend all day hiking with me on the Canal Trail and worked up a big hunger. We went to Lilah for dinner.I was happy tail happy to find out I was able to join them. The staff gave me continuous loving attention while my parents enjoyed their delicious meal. They had a harvest salad and tasty nachos. And Thursday happened to be Martini night. The highlight for me was the owner gave me the foot-long steak bone off her delicious thick and juicy steak. What a terrific, cozy, welcoming, community gathering place with fantastic food.“
“The people were very friendly, the food was good. My only issue is the place needs some updating. The place is old and worn down from years of wear and tear. But, it was clean. Sad to hear the owner had passed. Hopefully the new owners will spruce up the place.“
“Our local Waffle House had long been on our to do list. My wife and I could not decide what to do for lunch si we finally popped in.The layout was really interesting and efficient. The staff was welcoming and seemed to be enjoying work and each other's company smiling and laughing. The food came out fast, looked great, and was tasty.Flavorful and filling fare in just right portions.Definitely recommend if you want an anytime breakfast, lunch or both.“
“The management there is subpar. Owner is very loud and constantly yells at her employees. The food on the other hand is good, but on the more expensive side. If you go on a busy night expect to wait 30 mins or so for your food. On a less busy night food is served quickly.“
“My wife and I went there a few days ago. It is a very nice place. The people are very nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We ordered crab pretzel as an appetizer. It was very delicious. I highly recommend it. My wife ordered 6pc BBQ wings and I got Hot Dog trio and onion rings. Food was fantastic and beer was cold. What else can you ask. We will be back soon.“
“We enjoyed lunch at this quaint English pub themed restaurant with a bit of a college hangout vibe. The food was excellent! My husband enjoyed a chicken curry and I had essentially shepherd's pie, though it is called cottage pie. Good selection of beers on tap such as Smithwicks and Guinness. Our only complaint is that it was a cold day and it was cold in the restaurant. We will definitely return.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access with no steps.“
“After a day exploring Harpers Ferry (after multiple days on the AT) this seemed to be the most promising of restaurants. All the staff were wearing festive Halloween shirts which made for a good atmosphere. They were busy but not packed and everyone was super chill. The food. I enjoyed my burger - perfectly cooked and I filled it with my coleslaw which made for a good combo. The fries were ok. Not great. I liked the seasoning but like I said, they were just ok. But the grownup grilled cheese… that was something to write home about. Completely delicious. Made me jealous that I hadn’t ordered it.“
“No way around it, this is a dive bar. Having said that, I loved it. Sat at the bar where we got excellent service even though the place was crowded. My burger was cooked perfectly and so good! My wife had the blackened salmon sandwitch and found it dry and not to her liking. But...prices are very reasonable, it is close to the Anteitam Battlefield in the georgeous Western Maryland countryside, and we'll be back.“
