“We live a few miles away and we've enjoyed several French restaurants in this building for almost two decades. The current owners have truly outdone all the prior owners. This is not the first time we've been here under current management, but last night was the best experience ever!My husband and I enjoyed (a split portion of) the soup of the day, chicken soup with lots of vegetables, followed by the Norwegian salmon. Every component was beautifully cooked - my husband's medium and my medium-rare were perfect with skin so crunchy my husband didn't even remove it; the asparagus was cooked al dente as it should be, the mashed potatoes were tasty, and the ravigote sauce provided the perfect acidic counterpoint. Last but not least, our espresso martinis were great - perfect choice of cinnamon variety and amount. Our server, Taylor, was personable and professional, and made sure that food and drinks were served promptly and as ordered. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I was grateful that Taylor gave me choices and placed the GF bread order early enough that it arrived together with the regular bread. For the first time ever in this restaurant, my husband and I were able to share the three different kinds of butters without my having to beg him to save some for me! (Note: he rarely eats butter.) The kitchen and the front (including the Maitre d' - sorry I didn't ask his name) did an outstanding job last night!Strongly recommended!!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-intolerant friendly“
“The pizza from Rad Pizza was delicious but it was very hard to hold a conversation due to all the concrete and exposed metal. Please take a very hard look at how to absorb/dampen the noise.“

“I stumbled upon their truck in Martinsburg at the Weis on Queen Street and I was so happy I did. The ice cream was phenomenal (try the dulce de leche) and they were so nice as well. Their daughter is adorable and we will definitely be visiting the shop in the near future.“

“We love Black Dog Coffee Company! Not only is their iced (and hot) coffee the best, but their roasted beans are fabulous in our soaps! Great staff and wonderful owners! We are so appreciative of being a part of the Black Dog Coffee Company community!!!“

“These guys make the absolute best burger for miles! They always have something new on the menu that makes me have to make a choice between an amazing burger I know I will love, or something new that I know I’ll love but risk living with the regret of not having enjoyed their smash burger again. I know the owners of FBF and they are quality folk and the dude who started it all has a passion for cooking and seeing people light up to the taste of his cooking.“

“We visited a few local restaurants during a visit to the area, and this was one of our favorites! The outdoor garden seating is lovely! The stream is a little loud, but, personally, I liked hearing the sound of nature while enjoying my meal. The overall vibe of the restaurant is very casual. A great place to enjoy a burger or wrap - which is what my husband and I both got. We also got the hummus appetizer, which had delicious warm pita bread with it! The hummus was a little saltier than my preference, but overall good! Similarly, the turkey wrap that I got was a little on the salty side, but still yummy. It had lots of fresh veggies in it, which was delicious. We had our 11 month old with us. They had a high chair for her, but it was a little tricky to use in the outdoor seating. The brick floor by our table was a little uneven, making the chair rock a bit when she moved (which our little one thought was fun, but Mama was a little nervous ?). Staff were kind and friendly to all of us. The individual any gender bathrooms were cute and well maintained. There was a diaper changing station in the larger bathroom. The one bathroom did have a messy toilet seat (the rest of the room was clean), but I told a staff member about it and they promptly took care of it. Overall, this is a great casual and relaxing lunch spot.Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs. The outdoor seating has brick ground that is slightly uneven in spots, so some tables are not the best for high chairs, but it worked for us. There is a diaper changing station in the bathroom. Staff were very friendly to our baby. Food was a little on the salty side, if you're watching that for little ones, but overall, there were some appropriate baby led weaning options, including the hummus appetizer, if that's what you're looking for.“
“This place is pretty cool. They have a beer wall, you can order at the bar and they have cocktails for those who don't like beer. There is a food truck outside "Bella Bites", live music, and they have ton of board games to play if you want to pass the time. Also pretty friendly! There were a few people with dogs, and they even have dog treats!“
“Big Cork is a colossal space, with a white-dominant, modern interior and views of the countryside that are bucolic and relaxing. It's an example of minimalist design done well. The first time that I walked in, I was taken aback -- it's a sensory experience to a certain extent. The wine-tasting area and restaurant are all rolled into one. A long bar in the middle of things is snowy white and seems to stretch out endlessly. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about wine and Big Cork's viticulture -- a plus. Big Cork grows Petite Verdot, a red grape used in classic Bordeaux blends and one that I'm crazy about. Am happy to now have a source so close. I'm told their Petite Verdot has won a fair number of awards. Another one of their wines that's light and bright is Russian Kiss. This white wine brims with pear and citrus high notes, complementary earthy undertones and crisp finish. Rohrersville is a bit of a drive for me, living in DC. But one that I will gladly make.“
“Just had an amazing class with Sherry Spelman! Align & Explore was a *great* workout - a bit of a flow, strengthening through balancing, challenging poses like grasshopper, with stretching thrown in between. Looking forward to another Saturday with her soon! And to other classes at Mohalu, like Lona's Vin Yin on Monday!“
“Awesome view, great selection of IPAs and fresh and great food. In love with this place. We rode there on a bike on our way to Harper's Ferry, but thinking about going there again in the car next time. They also had live music. They had everything for a perfect outing.“
