“This is a great neighborhood spot in Hamilton on Harford Road. The breakfast burrito was delicious, as was the powerhouse bagel. They also have lots of baked goods and coffee and tea. It's very cute and cozy with lots of artwork and plenty of seating. It's under new ownership and run by a family...where their the kids are involved in running it, which is really nice.“

“I went here on a Sunday around 3:30 and there was a small crowd. We were able to get our items quickly after we ordered though it took a little while to order. There is a window that you order from and there is one cashier to take the order. The customer service was great. I was able to try the ice cone flavors. There were so many flavors and combination of flavors to choose from. They also had other treats like benigets, brownies, and cakes. They had Takhara brothers ice cream and I'm a huge fan of their ice cream, so I was excited to get the key lime, but it head run out. The clerk offered me other options and told me about the mango, guava, pineapple ice topped with fruit, so I decided to try it. I am so glad that I did. It was really flavorful and refreshing. There was cute outdoor seating that was well maintained. I will most definitely come back here.“

“Very rarely do I ever write a review. But I will make an exception here. Everything here is just perfect. The presentation of the pastry, to how everything is lined up perfectly, the flavor, the elegance, the environment. Everything is done to perfection. This bakery has truly impressed me. Everything is so clear cut, and done with such professionalism, it is shocking. Whenever I am in Baltimore, I always stop by.“

“I absolutely love Joanna's Cafe. I love their vanilla Frappes their food is really good, they have an amazing Strawberry Lemonade too. Great customer service, great food and at an affordable price. I love their house salad, their shrimp salad on a croissant roll and I like their chicken salad too. I haven't had any of their yummy desserts yet but plan to do so. My only wish is that they had later closing hours.Kid-friendliness: Joanna's Cafe has board games to play with your children while dining there to help keep them occupied and to have fun.“

“Emma's is such a a charming little spot. Their tea is wonderful and such a great selection. High Tea is a nice experience with friends or family. They bring out a tier of yummy treats to share. My teens and I love going to Emma's.Parking: There is a small free parking lot a bit behind the establishment but sometimes it's full. YMMVKid-friendliness: The Emma's tea experience is totally kid friendly. However, there are breakable expensive things on shelves here. If you can keep your kids from roaming and breaking them this is a kid friendly place. I'd just keep littles out of the little store area in the back.“

“Best coffee shop in Baltimore, hands down. This is my go-to for an amazing French press or cold brew horchata and quiet place to catch up on work or read a good book. The owner is extremely friendly and knows the origin and history of each coffee he makes. They also have a bunch of pastries if you’re hungry too!“

“What a lovely, charming place! And it supports the fire department. The coffee is great, food is tasty and the service is wonderful. We recently got some boxes of coffee for a promotion ceremony and I was really impressed. They had a good variety of sugar and cream, plenty of cups, and was hot and ready right on time. I also love to come here to work on days I absolutely need to get out of my house.“

“I lucked out. I meant only to “grab a cup of coffee” this morning casually on the way to Baltimore’s Penn Station to head home to nyc and lucky me for heading here. Good coffee, yes, yummy grits with cheese (my daughter had the tomato soup and grilled cheese) , relaxed homey elevated atmosphere with aninstallation of African textiles, patterns, color, and more. Also the adjoining gallery of MICA senior work was invigorating, inspiring.Thank you! …. Hope to be back !“

“I love this coffee shop; it's so cute and intimate, and the workers are very attentive. This is a great place to go if you want to work from home away from home; the design and cleanliness of this coffee shop are pure perfection. I just moved to Baltimore, so I'm excited to make this my favorite coffee shop. The pricing wasn't too bad; I paid for two sandwiches and two chai teas, and my total was about $36.00, which is normal for coffee shop pricing. I will say this was hands down the best chai tea I've had in a while.“

“Super cozy little corner coffee shop! Service was exceptional. We were greeted warmly and given a minute to look over the vast menu. We ordered an English Toffee latte, and a Chai tea. Both were delicious. The coffee is very smooth with the perfect amount of sweetness. The Chai was perfectly balanced and a great balance to the chill fall weather. Try the 3 pack of mini muffins too!! Moist and a delight.“

“I stopped by yesterday after leaving the vet with my dog and my mom. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the very friendly staff. The cinnamon roll, confetti muffin, and iced coffee were great! My dog was also given a pup cup. I'm really excited for the weather to warm up so I can sit outside and enjoy their patio space. I can see myself stopping by more often in the future.“

“Fast and friendly service with good food to boot. Ordered the strawberry/banana/Nutella crepe, they brought it out to me after only a few minutes and it tasted lovely. The guy at the counter offered to refill my tea on the way out without even asking. I think it's safe to say this is a spot worth giving your business to.“

“One of my favorite coffee brands period. I LOVE Ceremony Coffee. Their Thesis, Antithesis, and Mass Appeal blends — YES. I enjoy coming here to enjoy an iced Mocha latte with Almond milk. I’ve heard excellent things about their pour overs, although I’ve not tried it myself. Their pastries are also quite tasty. They host fun events like latte art showdowns, sensory experiences, and the like.“

“Incredible little spot with great coffee. The owner is the one making your coffee and roasting your beans right there in front of you. Very friendly and comfortable environment. I asked for beans that weren't roasted yet and the owner allowed me to schedule a time that was convenient for me to come back and pick up my beans. VERY happy I found this place on my trip to Baltimore and I will certainly be going back next time I'm in the area!“

“Love the place for breakfast, but the lunch sandwiches present a very real value issue when looking at cost to portions. For $17, I would hope that my sandwich is big enough to fix my hunger! Not enough filling, too short of bread. Tasty, but VERY expensive for the portion.“

“Honestly the best waffles I’ve ever had across the board. Usually the bubble waffle houses phone it in with the waffles and make them dry: not these folks, the chocolate waffles are insanely good. The staff was kind and professional, and even the ice cream was delicious.Warning that one waffle was enough to feed three adults for dessert but we all enjoyed it so much and we will come back!“

“Well, I started off with a blueberry muffin. I asked if they would grill it for me. They said yes that's how we prepare it anyway. It was very lightly grilled so the inside was still cold. I didn't complain I just ate it after all it's a muffin. I had a veggie omelette it came with fruit, fried potatoes and toast. I asked for grilled onions they gave me two slices of grilled red onions for a buck. I also had the banana foster french toast it was delicious. I was hungry huh? My friend had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It was beyond dry it was as though they shredded the chicken and forgot the mayo. He asked for some mayo so that he could eat the thing. It didn't help. Lastly when we got the bill gratuity had been added to it. Now I wasn't sure why because we never complained or seemed upset. It was only two of us and it was in the morning. I've been in the food industry for 25 years so I don't send food back or complain. So I did speak with management to let them know that if you're going to automatically add gratuity it needs to be specified somewhere in the menu and it wasn't. I would go back but we're not getting that chicken again ?“
“A wonderful roasting business with friendly staff and delicious coffee. I get their coffee every Sunday at Mt. Washington Farmers Market. They’ve taught me so much about coffee varieties. When I buy whole bean, it’s Dear Globe. Amazing people.“

And if thats not enough the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Willing to help you find exactly what you want and need to make your day. Plus they do offer beer, it's limited but still. Coffee Cafe with great food wonderful coffee amazing people and beer...Parking: It's pay to park in front but there is a free lot in back“

“Tucked away just off Harford Road, Cafe Campli is bringing Abruzzo-focused cuisine to the neighborhood with a dash of elegance and flair. We booked a table for restaurant week dinner--the perfect avenue for checking out this new buzz worthy spot. The restaurant itself is a welcoming lot cozy and intimate setting, with a small number of tables tucked away from the bar entrance. A delightful atmosphere for date night and small group meals alike. Service was a bit inconsistent throughout the evening, with gaps in attentiveness to our table. That being said, the restaurant was fully booked and bustling, so I imagine the team is just getting their flow under their feet. Service when present was inviting, friendly and professional. As the vegetarian at the table, my decision on three plates was an easy one! I started with the Polpette di Verdure--fried vegetable croquettes with a tomato based side sauce. The croquettes were cooked to perfection with that delicious melt in your mouth soft interior but crispy exterior. With interwoven Parmesan Reggiano, they achieved a creamy texture with a pop of salt to elevate the flavorful vegetable base. Next up, Mezze maniche con vincotto e noci (Le Marche)--a truncated penne like pasta with walnut pesto. Talk about al dente perfection! An ideal pasta shape to deliver hidden corridors of sauce sneaking inside. I loved that the dish wasn't over-sauced. The ratio allowed each element to shine, with the red wine adding a next level flavor profile to the pesto. Last of the evening was Capesante del Sottobosco--trumpet mushrooms meant to mimic scallops, over kale. Unfortunately, this dish was a bit of a flop for me. Compared to the flavor punch of the first two courses, this one lacked "umf". The mushrooms were cooked beautifully but had little flavor beyond subtle earthiness. The kale tasted a bit heavy handed on the salt, and the leeks just felt out of place. The bite just didn't seem to come together, and I didn't find the plating as strong visually as other dishes on the menu. At the end of the evening, we were certainly convinced to make a return trip though! Thank you for a nice evening Cafe Campli team and look forward to trying more of the menu.“

“I usually enjoy the coffee, smoothies, and hot chocolate so I can't speak to the food but I imagine it's solid. The prices are reasonable, at least for beverages so far, and the service is almost always friendly and quick. The downstairs is a little sparse and the music is sometimes loud, but upstairs is quiet and incredibly cozy with odd furniture, drapery, and art work. A true student paradise. I'd wonder if they could expand their offerings of drinks and maybe food especially outside the holidays.“

“This is an Italian gelato ice cream shop that sells various flavors.Four people visited and we all bought different flavors and shared them. All the flavors are great and really delicious. There are not many tables in the store. “Baltimore seems to like these food courts where local eateries offer up all sorts of taste treats to the public. This particular food court is blessed to be where some truly great Baltimore dining establishments have their footprints. This time around, I ate noodles and tempura from Ejji Ramen, and I ate lemon cake from Atwater's. But in addition to those two companies, there are 14 other great eating and drinking establishments one can choose from for breakfast, lunch, or early dinner. It's not a fancy place; but the food is great.“

“Reddit said this was the best breakfast sandwich and they were not lying. The Cuban is terrific. Ham, swiss, eggs, pickles and dijonnaise. Also the staff was terrific. They put milk and sugar in my coffee for me which I think is a little thing but really appreciate. I wish it was closer to my house or my office but I will be back soon.As a side note, it's something about this particular neighborhood that I have been to three restaurants that were located inside older apartment buildings. It's a vibe up there.“

“Good coffee, had the Cortado and Avacado Toast. My wife had the cold brew with a vanilla shot had the sweet syrup down the bottom and wasn't stirred and the BLT bagel and she took the bacon out, which I tried and was delicious. All drinks and food was good in quality and freshness. There was adequate table and chairs to sit down and work/study with sufficient power outlets to charge up your devices. Would recomend this place. Staff seemed busy, only one lady taking orders and making the order.“

“We found this place on Google and it was around the corner from our hotel. One of THE best stops on our trip! “I still like DD, but they're not as good as they used to be. They're not made on premises and their selection is much smaller. I miss the apple filled donuts and the French cruellers. “Nice clean restaurant/deli, tv on wall. The only thing that I don’t like is they close to early at 3pm, and weekends they are closed. They could be making so much money, because there are warehouses, and tanker truck drivers that work in the area. If you work a second shift after 3pm, you better get your food before you go to work.Parking: Small lot, but it’s good spots available early morning“
“Stumbled upon this shop after leaving the nail salon and so glad I did. I almost didn't want to write this review to keep this place to myself. It's a small and quiet coffee shop, which is exactly what I was looking for. It also has lots of plant supplies and plants. I'm not sure if the person working that day was the owner, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products offered. He was patient with me as I decided on what to order and informed me that the coffee I chose was from Nepal. While I spent some time working, a few frequent customers came in and I only know this because the employee remembered their orders. There was also someone who came in about an issue they had with a product from the store and he exchanged it with no questions/charge. Bonus points for parking being easily available! I look forward to visiting again!“

“I finally made it to this place for Baltimore's 2024 Winter Restaurant Week, and the food out of this kitchen is absolutely as good as everyone says. My problem has always been that the place isn't open a lot of times I can get there, but I will be going back; and next time I will be having some signature, Roman pasta dish.My only complaint with my meal is that I didn't receive a few slices of good, crusty bread to sop up the juices off the duck-with-turnip dish I had that evening. The place reminds one of a great little osteria in Rome (more formal, but the kitchen is in view and the place is tiny), and one is never asked to eat in Rome in such a place, in my experience, without being offered at least a few slices of great crusty bread or maybe one those fabulous rosette one finds all over the city.Senza il pane tutto diventa orfano,“

“Stumbled on this place the other day while visiting clients in Baltimore.I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice coffee shop with good food.I had a latte there and took home chicken pot pie and apple pie as well as a bag of coffee beans for my espresso maker.I wasn’t a fan of the apple pie, not sweet enough for me.
