“Really wish I could give this place a better rating! The people running the place were so nice and friendly — and it’s a great local establishment.Our rockfish sandwich was fine — but we had two catfish sandwiches, and the breading on both was just too salty. Maybe we got a bad batch, so I’m willing to give the place a second try!“

“This is our favorite local bar - AND the food is fantastic! The bartenders are always kind and attentive. The music great and the general ambiance has great energy. We have fun when the bar is packed, empty, and everything in between. Highly recommend for poetry Thursdays (every 3rd Thursday) and Live Music on Fridays. You won't be disappointed by the buffalo wings, fries, po'boy, or the catfish sandwich.“
“The fish and chips are great and more than enough in a serving. I’m very impressed with the variety of English items they carry such as the chocolates, biscuits, and other candy. They also have alcohol which is a plus! The chef is always swagged out, funny, and takes the time to explain items on the menu.“
“We finally picked this spot after walking around for a while figuring out what to eat - I’ll tell you something it was the first time I tried something called “dogfish” but apparently it’s a white dish and it’s super delicious ? it’s very meaty . We got three tacos two with dog fish and one with shrimp . The shrimp was okay .. the dogfish ones were better . Overall decent ? I like that they put jalapeños on them though - nice little kick“
“Let me start off by saying today is my birthday and I had a unexpected expensive start to my day. I say that to set the tone for what kind of f..ked up mood I was in and what my expectations I had for ordering from here. Welp, staff was extremely friendly and patient. I was acknowledged when i walked into the store and left alone to study the menu without being asked are you ready? every five minutes. I order the 4 pc whiting diner and it came out perfect for my first time patronizing the franchise. I love my fish well done and it was like a fluffy chip. However, the extremely small portion of coleslaw stuffed into a condiment cup for a 4 pc dinner was disappointing however I don't care for coleslaw anyway but I would had settle for a substitute of fries if I had known in advance. “The food is always a good. With these restaurants it’s always a hit or miss but for the most part it’s pretty good.The service is below average. Their point is to take you order and get you your food. Don’t expect any level of hospitality.Atmosphere??? There isn’t much of one. It feels like a dine in restaurant going out of business soon.“
