Ordered a combo plate with curry goat and oxtail. It was good, had flavor. Not enough vegetables, but not a bad deal.Ordered the curry chicken, and it too had flavor and a bit of spiciness. Stingy with the veggies again, but it's not a bad deal.I also ordered a small jerk chicken plate. It wasn't good at all, just hot (spicy). They missed the mark with flavor with this dish and again barely any vegetables. Just big cuts of spicy chicken swimming in way too much spicy sauce.
The food quality is undoubtedly deserving of 5 stars. SO-.. let's shift the focus to the establishment itself. My inaugural dining experience here was just yesterday, and I must commend the staff for their exceptional professionalism and friendliness. My main go to spot since I moved back here from Boston. If you know Blue Hill Ave & other areas in Beantown, it's all authentic Jamaican & Dominican food. This is the only spot I found with reasonably priced authentic Jamacian food & great cakes! They got what you want!
