“In my opinion the best ice cream you can ever eat. Probably no other place around with the view of 20 miles while you eat and watch all the animals. The people that own and run this gem of a spot are always extremely nice and will always make you feel welcome when you visit.”

“My wife and I stumbled upon this when we went to a back to school night and were served their pizza. We asked where it was from and learned it was originals. We decided we needed to try it.So we went and tried a few items over the course of a few different visits.The pizza- always delicious, never have been disappointedCheesesteak- fantasticMeatball Sub- wow, this surprised me. The meatballs are homemade and remind of something my mom would make. Very good but very surprised that a meatball this good came out of this place. I figured it would be some frozen meatballs but that is not that case. Just wowItalian sub- good, not your true Italian you get from an Italian market but no issues and would get it again.Overall this place has yet to deliver a bad meal, the service is always top notch, the people there are kind and friendly.Only recommendation call in your order in advance it takes about 30 minutes sometimes longer.”

“Been here numerous times and always great.Happy to welcome Dunkin in Libertytown! Was not an easy or cheap 2yr process, but Frederick County came through. Needed to bring more business back to this great town and Dunkin was a great start. Dunkin (& my co) invested a ton of money making this happen by converting the prior vacant PNC bank branch. Dunkin and the other surrounding small businesses in & near LIbertytown deserve all the business revenue we can afford to give them. Libertytown or anywhere; we gotta support all of our small towns and businesses worldwide even if it means going a couple miles out of the way......or, if it means coming back if you had a not-so-great experience once or read a not-so-great review. “Wow! What a gem of a place. The food is excellent. We had a spinach salad and added blackened salmon. Incredible!!! We enjoy a wide variety of beer. We tried their Sun’s Up Citrus Rye. Again, outstanding. Very refreshing. I highly recommend Bud’s.”

“We had an amazing time yesterday. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I enjoyed their west coast IPA (sharing the universe) and their bier de garde (interesting twang- sour with pineapple). They had lots of places to sit outside and we really enjoyed watching and listening to the farm animals. Looking forward to coming back for their bluegrass festival in May.”

I tend to stay away from very hoppy beers, and the knowledgeable bartender steered me in a good direction - I had their blonde ale.In addition to being knowledgeable, I think the bartenders always get the right spot between too chatty and unengaged. I also appreciate the variety of seating options, between bar, regular tables, and the high top tables.I look forward to more visits through the winter!”

“OH MY GOD, where do I begin?!! I have been to and worked at MANY restaurants throughout my life, and I have to say that this one is just about at the top of the list! First, the entire staff was friendly, hard working and on top of everything! Our server Maryann couldn't have been more sweet and attentive. You could tell that she genuinely loved what she does. Secondly, the food was AMAZING!!! Everything that we had was FANTASTIC! Several of us ordered the All You Can Eat. The oysters, clams, mussels and crab legs were so fresh, hot, plump and delicious!!!! The fried shrimp and hush puppies were hot, crispy and delicious!! The crab soup was EXCELLENT! The steak was cooked perfectly. The Chicken Chesapeake was INCREDIBLE and so big that we had to take home half of it. Even the drinks were great. I don't think I've ever been to a place that EVERYTHING was perfect! I was happy for 2 days afterwards just reliving how wonderful everything was. We own a limousine company and from one owner to the owners of this establishment, YOU HAVE MASTERED YOUR TRADE!! I can't wait to get back there again!!”

“Very nice spot! A nice selection of beers, one - but. A good cider - and a partial full liquor bar accompany a slew of delicious pizza pies. We've been a few times this year and the pizzas are excellent. Dang good. Thin crust with fresh toppings. That, along with the split pour beers (two 8.5 oz glasses per pour) make this indoor and outdoor local brewery a nice location with friends. The servers do so with a smile and are quick. Friendly. Clean. Pub Dog Westminster is a nice place to enjoy food and beers. Craft at its finest!”

“Had a really nice "between funeral viewings" dinner here. Staff was very accommodating for a soldier party of 10. Service was good, menu was varied. Everything got to the table hot and reasonably quickly. Their homemade chips were really good. My BBQ was very flavorful, nice and moist without dripping sauce. “So excited about all the great things that are happening with Black Ankle. My husband and I are wine lovers and really have come to love Black Ankle. The wine is seriously the best in Maryland. I am a current wine club member and we recently had the most delightful time visiting your vineyard! Matt was our tasting expert. We learned it was his first time doing the tasting with guests and he is so remarkably knowledgeable, kind, fun and patient. Good customer service is hard to find these days, let alone outstanding! “Winfield Inn is a local bar and restaurant that serves excellent food. I highly recommend the crab cakes, crab fluff (huge and loaded with lump crabmeat) and shrimp salad. We had a party of 17, all family, and our server was great and very efficient. If you want a romantic atmosphere, this isn't the place. As I said, it's a locals place. Highly recommended.”

“This is one of the nicest family restaurants I’ve been to in awhile. It is small, only a few tables, but they have a booming pizza and takeout business. We ate in. Their homemade meatlover’s lasagna was awesome. Tasty sauce. Plenty of melted cheese. Lots of meat! Baked perfectly and still bubbling when it was brought to the table. And the meal included a salad! The portion was wonderfully large. Think of a full sized pie tin on a large dinner plate. Talk about value! I had half for dinner and half for today’s lunch. Also, the little loaf of Italian bread was superb. The staff is very friendly and multitasking continually, but not so busy that they won’t check on you regarding how the food is or if you need your drink topped off. In any case, if you’re in Emmitsburg, this is a definite stop. If I’m back this way I will be definitely be stopping back. Now time to catch my flight. Near a grocery store as well. No steps to climb.”

On taste of his food and there was no way we wanted anyone else! Rob went above and beyond for our special day, even accommodating a last minute change in food quantity and variety from me. Everyone was raving about the food! Plus as good as everything else was, the cornbread was the best cornbread I have ever tasted! Never had a disappointing dish here, and I've been here about a hundred times (I have come here every other week for the past few years). Personally I’ve never been a fan of the fresh made pizza at the convenience store across the street from this place, and I actually prefer this frozen over there fresh. I just wish they would have it ready to go cause right now the warmer is just sitting empty and unused.”

“A nice mexican spot, probably the only one in Taneytown. I had the super burrito but I found it a bit empty for what it was advertised as. The rest of my party enjoyed their food very much. The drinks are huge and quite nice. The staff were excellent and my large group was well accomodated.”
