It was worth the hour drive for some decent sushi. Food options are great, taste was delicious, restaurant was nice and clean, and the staff were amazing. But there was a minor downside with our server. His attitude was great but he wasn't knowledgeable about the menu items and we had a little misunderstanding with our order. A little more training should help with that. Will definitely go back again.
Excellent food, sushi was fresh and absolutely stellar specialty rolls. Daily lunch specials with large portions. Waitstaff are very kind and attentive, making sure my water was filled and the table was clear of rubbish and plates

4.5 stars (for the area) It's a shame that there are such terrible reviews for this spot. I don't know why people are expecting top notch sushi in Waldorf. You have to manage your expectations to the area it is located in. Their prices aren't as high as DC or northern VA sushi spots that specialize in sushi.
